Chalet Roossi Huus 3 is a charming recently built 2-bedroom holiday apartment with glorious views of the Lauterbrunnen Valley and surrounding mountains. Set in a quiet location, it’s just a short walk to the centre of the family-friendly “car-free” village of Wengen.
This apartment sleeps 4 - 8 people:
Bedroom 1 - 1 double king-size bed
Bedroom 2 - 2 bunk beds
Common spaces - 2 double sofa beds
All beds are European sizes.
Bathroom 1 - bathtub and WC
Bathroom 2 - shower and WC
Apartment location - just 350m to the train station, 300m to the nearest supermarket and 400m to the nursery ski slopes and cable car, access to mountain hiking and local ski areas is just a short walk away!
This corner apartment has a very homey, comfortable ambience - the perfect choice for a family or a group of friends! It has a very spacious living room which is bright and airy. This leads to the sunny south-facing balcony where you can relax with a glass of wine and some fine Swiss cheeses while you unwind after a day of hiking or skiing and soak in the wonderful mountain and valley views.
The generous living room is the natural gathering place with free WiFi and wide-screen TV making it easy to relax and entertain. This lovely apartment is the perfect choice for a laid-back family or group holiday in a magnificent Alpine setting!
There is an all-in-one washer-dryer combo machine in the apartment. And heated ski and boot storage is provided in the town near the train station and cable car for your convenience.

What you should know...
Although Wengen is a "car-free" mountain village, arriving by car is no problem. There is a large multi-storey car park at Lauterbrunnen train station, with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. It is just a 14-minute scenic cog train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes until 9.30 pm and then hourly. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen train station if required.

A very well equipped apartment with everything you could want to fully self-cater in this perfect mountain location. We were a multi-generational family group and it was perfect for all our needs. The management team always communicated well.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. It was quiet--away from the bustle of the shops and tourists, but still just a few minutes walk from everything in the village. The views were spectacular. We loved the veranda, the washer/dryer combination in the laundry room, and the full kitchen. The beds were comfortable, and it was very clean. We enjoyed some lovely, home-cooked meals and spent a great deal of time on the veranda staring at Jungfraujoch and the other peaks while listening to a chorus of bird songs.

We loved our stay at the chalet. The 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment was well appointed. The living room was spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed. Communication with Julie was quick, and she was very helpful. We enjoyed the balconies. The views of the mountains and waterfall from all windows were amazing. It was close to the train station. Thanks for hosting us.

We really enjoyed our stay at this chalet - it was clean, well furnished, convenient to town, and has a great view of the valley. Julie (manager) was easy to work with and very easy to work with. Wengen is beautiful, and this chalet allows you to enjoy that beauty!
