Something was wrong with the pool so after 2 days it was so dirty you couldn’t see the bottom. All four of our kids got an ear infection which cost us approx 300 euros in doctor appointments. One of the toilets and the air conditioning in the living room didn’t work which also affected our stay because we were 2 family’s, 8 people and had just 2 bathrooms. We had a lot of power cuts and it took us hours to get in contact with the agency who told us how to get the electricity back. Unfortunately we had a lot of frozen food that had to be thrown away because of this.
The house was also really messy and full of personal stuff left from the owners. There was also a lot of building constructions around the house which started really early.
We told both the agency and the owner this after a couple of days and was promised that it would be fixed which didn’t happened. We have rented a few houses this way but never been as unhappy with a house like this.
I strongly NOT recommend this house for anyone.

HORRIBLE.

A minor blip to start....but we loved it!
We arrived on a Sunday and were disappointed on arrival as the pump to the pool had broken on the Friday so we were greeted with a green pool and as a further blow the hot tub wasn't working either! However, after messaging Daisy, she understood our disappointment and arranged for us to spend the day at a beach club so the children could swim.
Daisy gave us the details of Pablo, who dealt with maintenance and the pool was fixed by Wednesday and the outdoor electrics were looked at which also meant we were able to use the hot-tub.
I have read through the other reviews which are somewhat harsh and some of the problems were outside Daisy's control due to previous guests not respecting her property.
The lighting outdoors didn't work - we purchased light bulbs and were reimbursed by Daisy.
Yes, the stools to the bar were a little dirty, we gave them a clean.
Yes, there was a small wasp nest, not Daisy's fault - we got rid of it.
Yes, the blind was broken in the living room – we fixed it.
Yes, there was no toaster – we purchased a new one and were reimbursed by Daisy.
Yes, the power tripped on occasion but you work around it and was something that we got used to as we have done before in Spain.
Yes, there were tiles missing from the pool. It didn’t feel uncomfortable under foot and was not something easily rectifiable by Daisy – our children took great delight in playing a game collecting the tiles during our break.
I disagree that the BBQ was ancient – we used this daily (yes, more BBQ utensils could be provided but we managed). The gas bottle ran out, we purchased a new one and were reimbursed by Daisy.
Yes, the front gate could do with looking at but it did lock and kept the property secure for the duration of our stay.
I agree that the dishwasher didn’t work – it needs sparkle and salt putting in it. It wasn't the end of the world (there were 9 in our party - 4 adults, 5 children) and we did the washing up between us.
Despite some of the initial issues these by no means ruined our holiday and once they were dealt with the villa was an absolute joy to stay in. The villa does need tidying up of which Daisy is aware. Daisy's home is lovely, the beds comfortable and it is ideally located close to the beach and bars and restaurants. Daisy was extremely easy to get hold of, as was Pablo and between the two of them sorted out any issues as soon as they could.
Would I go again – yes, would I recommend it, yes I would!!

Beware anyone booking this property. The lovely decor belies the reality of staying in this property
10 days of daily nightmares in this property.Regular power failures, dangerously hot fuse board,plugs/lights hanging off, jacuzzi can't be used as trips the whole place, dishwasher doesn't work,no toaster,no bbq utensils for ancient bbq,air con trips power so can't be used, pool in very bad state of repair, literally hundreds of tiles missing and green algae where tiles are missing, this caused bad cut to 3yr olds foot on first day, putting him off pool for rest of holidays and making it very uncomfortable under feet, stairs and balcony in very bad state so had to keep children away from them, lots of broken tiles on patio area, very dirty bar stools, wasp nest in umbrella, front gate that unable to lock making property unsecure, mouldy toastie maker,no welcome pack as offered in details, broken bed, workmen there for 4 days fixing jacuzzi broken by previous guests, even leaving all their rubbish strewn around garden for us to clear up.The list goes on....! As you can imagine this was not the LUXURY VILLA we were expecting from advert.Washing up after breakfast, lunch and dinner in the boiling hot weather as air con as well as dishwasher not working not the relaxing holiday vibe at all!Although we complained nothing was sorted and Daisy admitted villa had been wrecked by previous guests on stag and hen do's but she didn't have time to put right before we arrived? So to our dilemma now, we contacted home away and Daisy after returning home asking for a considerable refund, which is only fair considering all our problems.Home away apparently are just a go between in the booking process so will not assist us in any way and Daisy's reply has been to tell us that she's having whole villa repaired in September! How that helps or compensates us for such an appalling stay??Daisy is now ignoring my emails for an amicable solution.Very very disappointing and leaving us with the only option of legal action as everything I am complaining about is backed up with texts, videos and photos. This villa, while it looks lovely, behind the decor is in in a very poor state of repair, some of these issues are dangerous. How the owner has behaved to us is nothing short of disgusting. She knows how much this holiday was needed and looked forward to as serious health issues for one of our party and yet has shown a complete disregard for the effect these CONTINUOUS problems had on our holiday.Shame on her and on Homeaway, booked this holiday in good faith and have been totally let down!!!

Needs modernising
Although Myself and my friends had a fab few days break at this villa we did find that there were some maintainance issues that could be addressed. With the constant power cuts and unheated hot tub upon arrival to start with and no WiFi. There were other issues but we made light of it and enjoyed our stay. The mainanace guy was really helpful upon arrival to one of our powercuts, and the owner also was respondent when we got in touch. I do think that with some tlc and time, this villa could be amazing. If I was with my children and family My review on this villa would not be so polite, but the group of girls I went with made the holiday. In the end we just laughed our way through our weekend

Did we enjoy our holiday in the end yes we did however it didnt have the greatest of starts. We were were burgled on the 2nd having a car stolen. When we first arrived the pool looked like a pond. It had been advertised as being refurbished but that was not the case. There were so many tiles missing huge gaps I think tiles were coming off daily and there was algae in the grouting. After 4 days and reassurance from the pool cleaner we ventured into the pool.We had no wifi for the first 4 days (having to use our own data at a charge)after several emails this was sorted, it seems the issue was present when the previous family also stayed. The electric was also an issue, the power continued to trip we werent told there was an issue until we contacted the owner and were told the issue was with the hot tub and the dryer(neither of which had even been plugged in). We were advised the electrician was aware of the fault and would be visiting he never arrived. When trying to switch it back on it would spark. Luckily my husband is an electrician and there wasnt a fault its was that the mains breaker wasnt a sufficient size so you can only have limited applicances on at the same time. This did not include having air con and water heaters on at the same time so we had to have a relay of what could be plugged in which was hard when theres 7 people in a villa wanting different things at different times. After a few days my sister caused damage to the cabinet in the bathroom the marble plate broke nearly landing her foot we informed owner straight away, we have paid for this damage, we were also accused of trashing the villa? I have asked the owner what exactly she means by this as no such thing occurred damage but I am yet to receive a reply. The villa itself was lovely the rooms spacious and had everything you needed, the bedroom decor was nice and modern. Due to the amount of family photos on display it had the feeling of being in someones home, not something we liked but each to there own, plus cabinets and wardrobes full of what we can only think was either personal belongings or things past visitors had left. The location was good close to a variety of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and parks for children. For the amount of money we paid we would have expected more.

This villa is perfectly situated in a quiet area about 10 minute drive from Marbella and approximately 20 minutes from Puerto Banus It is ideal for those looking from some peace and quiet with the option of travelling into busier areas to enjoy some Spanish culture and cuisine. There is o supermarkets near buy which we utilised to do a big shop on the first day. It was a short walking distance however, due to the amount of shopping we bought, we got a taxi back. There is also a small complex a short walk away which consisted of restaurants and bars. We went to the Playwright restaurant one evening and the 5 star reviews are spot on. The food was to die for. The villa itself was luxurious and the outdoor space was amazing. The pool was small but adequate and the hot-tube was a nice extra. The villa itself is exactly as described and there was ample facilities such as sun-beds, towels etc. The owner was quick to respond to any queries we had via email and although we had problems regarding the internet she did want to refund the cost of us having to pay a fee to make our own connect. All and all it was a fantastic villa and I would have no hesitation in recommending it or booking it again in the future.

Very luxurious holiday!
We arrived at the villa late at night due to a delay, but we were helped out very quickly with the check in process by Daisy. She is a very friendly young lady who was always there to help us.
The villa itself was really lovely and I don't think the photos do it justice, it looks much better in real life, big bedrooms and living room, kitchen with all the necessary appliances, washing machine, barbecue... The swimmingpool is very nice, shallow at the beginning and a bit deeper in the end. Big terrace with sunloungers, nice lounge to sit in the shadow!
Great feature is the location! While it's not on the beachfront, everything is within walking distance. I loved the great bars and restaurants in Elviria. There's a big variation in different cuisines and the bars are filled with fun-loving people, mostly brittish, german or scandinavian.
I really enjoyed my stay and would certainly recommend this place!

Amazing family holiday!
I stayed here with my family for 2 weeks. It was the third time we spent our holiday at this place and it's always fantastic! Great service from the owner. She's there for you throughout the whole process with tips and support.
The house is really nice, for us it feels like home already. The interior design is modern with an elegant touch, Tv with lots of international channels and a totally equiped kitchen! Nice swimming pool, lovely jacuzzi. You might think you're not going to use it often in the hot Marbella, but in the evening it's very relaxing!
The location is perfect! Shops, restaurants, bars, golfcourses and the beach are all in less than 3km distance.
I heard the owner is busy renovating the pool during the months january and february so I'm really looking forward to our stay at the beginning of june 2017 to see the newly renovated pool!

Lovely property, great location!
It was my first holiday abroad with my fiance. We went there with a friend of mine and we really loved the villa. It's a lovely place with very spacious bedrooms, a nice jacuzzi and a stunning swimmingpool. We were very enthusiastic about the location as the supermarket and some delicious restaurants were closeby. if you want to party it's nice too cause Nikki Beach is the luxury partyplace in Marbella and only a short drive from the villa. Puerto Banus is 15 min away, but lovely to visit as well. Some great Irish pubs are in walking distance. Very nice when you're man wants to watch soccer! The owner is very friendly and she helped us with all our questions! Will definitely visit again!

See you next year!
My boyfriend and I spend a week in this villa in september and it was a great experience. It was the first time we rented a holiday home so we were a bit anxious, but the owner immediately reassured us. She wasn't in Marbella herself at the moment, but when we arrived at the property Pablo, the gardener, was waiting for us with the keys and instructions on how to use all appliances. During our stay we could contact the owner and Pablo for everything we needed. The house looks absolutely wonderful. Very beautiful and modern furniture. It was very clean and the swimmingpool was awesome! We really liked the jacuzzi as well. We stayed here with a bunch of young people so of course we loved Nikki Beach and the other nightlife options in Puerto Banus! Would certainly recommend this villa to anyone who want to spend a holiday in Marbella and loves to party!

Best holiday ever!
I spend ten days in Villa Chiribita with my husband and a couple of friends. It was one of my best experiences ever! Very luxury villa and all the rooms are situated on one floor. I've had a hip replacement so that was very good for me. We used to swim in the pool every day and relax on the sunloungers. We didn't go out much, just for dinner, but there are really nice restaurants in the neighborhood. We personally really enjoyed Rosmarino, very friendly people. In the evening we watched tv and we could follow all our usual Belgian channels so that was very nice! I want to thank the owner for all her kind help. She went to the pharmacy for me to get my medication and brought it to the house. She really is a lovely lady.
