About this house rental

Cozy In-Law Suite with private entrance and parking in driveway. 3 miles from the airport. Located in the suburb of Donelson, our home is on a quiet street in a friendly neighborhood near great restaurants, historical attractions & hiking trails. Self-contained unit with private full bath, mini fridge, kettle, microwave, wifi, TV with HDMI capability for your laptop, queen bed, seating and dining area available.

Our accommodation provides limited access to the kitchen and laundry facilities. My partner and I live in the house with our cat and two dogs, Abby an 8-year old Corgi, Mizzie, a 5-year old Catahoula/Sharpei Mix and Lily a 6-month old Siamese. Both of our dogs are rescues and require introductions before they are comfortable with strangers. For that reason, we cannot grant guests access to the house without our presence. However, if you are an animal lover and want to be introduced to our pets that can be arranged! Cat lovers please be aware that our Siamese loves the in-law suite and would be happy to spend time with you at your discretion. If you prefer to not interact with the animals that's fine, too! : )

Approximately 10 miles from Nissan Stadium where the Titans play and Bridgestone Arena where the Predators play. Tennessee is noted for many outdoor attractions such as lakes, rivers, and parks. J Percy Priest Lake and Old Hickory Lake are 10 and 20 minutes or less away and offer many activities. Stones River access is 3 minutes away and offer fishing, kayaking, canoeing and access to miles of greenway walking and biking trails.
Two Rivers Park is 3 minutes away and offer 9 holes of golfing, while Hermitage Golf Course is 15 minutes away and offer 18 holes on the finest public access course in Tennessee.
The Hermitage, home of President Andrew Jackson, is 15 minutes away, plus many Civil War locations throughout the area.
We are no more than 20 minutes away from Lipscomb University, Vanderbilt University, Trevecca University, Belmont University, and Tennessee State University.

We have a brand new HVAC mini split unit that provides cooling and heating completely under the guest’s control.

Hip Donelson as it's known as a source of pride amongst its residents. Here you'll find the opportunity to step away from the bright lights of the city and enjoy some of the natural and small town qualities Nashville has to offer. While still being a cheap 10 minute Uber from the Honky Tonks on Broadway or the fantastic shopping at Opry Mills.

Driving and Taxi is your best option for getting around. There is a Music City Train that runs Monday to Friday with a final departure around 6pm. As well as a reliable Metro Bus System. Taxi rates are very reasonable in Nashville. Parking in Downtown Nashville costs $20 flat rate but depending on which neighborhood you visit: East Nashville, 12 South, Germantown...there is street parking available.

This private room was just want my hunny and I needed for an overnight trip. It’s located in a very quiet and pet friendly neighborhood with a covered parking space. It was a short distance from the airport, the Ascend Amphitheater and downtown area. I’d recommend the rental to a friend, family member and/or stay again in the future.

I wish I'd known before check-in that there's no shoes allowed on the carpet, I'd have packed my bedroom slippers. I don't like to walk anywhere barefoot, personal preference. The owners have gone to great lengths to make sure you're comfortable in such a small space (which is bigger than it looks in the photos). The neighborhood is very quiet and we felt safe. Close to restaurants, shopping, downtown, and the airport. Owners were very responsive. We would love to stay here again.

We stayed here while in Nashville for a conference. The studio was exactly as described. A very clean basic studio apartment with a large mini refrigerator, microwave, water kettle and kuric machine. Check in and all correspondence was quick and easy! Parking was secure in a covered driveway in a nice neighborhood. The apartment was very clean and had a nice tv with good wifi. The owner has three very nice dogs which greet you each day. A nice alternative to the overpriced conference hotel.

Self check in so we showed up later in the day - no problem. There’s a coffee/tea station complete with a hot water kettle and variety of tea. Comfortable bed and our own a/c and heater unit with remote. I can recommend it.

This was a very easy VRBO rental and the owners were very nice. The property was very clean and room was better for us than a hotel room. We had plenty of space and Lindsay thought of everything to make our stay feel like we were at home. The bed was very comfortable and cozy blankets for cold nights! We would stay here again!!!

The price was great for the space! You must be able to feel comfortable being able to hear the hosts. It was fine for us because we were exploring the city majority of the time, but we had never experienced a VRBO like that before. I did have a cockroach on my feet in the shower, but the room is sub level with outside so I understand things happen! We would stay again if we come back to the Nashville area. They also had tons of cute animals which we loved. We called it the bunny hotel!

Our trip was not off to a great start with weather delays and poor customer service from our rental car company, but it was wonderful to arrive at our rental property with a quick and easy drive from the airport, in a nice quiet neighborhood. The property was lovely! Well lit exterior, clean and cozy. They have thought of everything! While, we did not see or meet the owner, they were quick to respond. My son and I booked the property in hopes to meet the owner's animals, but our schedules did not aline. We hope to be back next time we're in town.

Lindsay's space is almost like having your own house. It has a private entrance so you don't feel you're disturbing anyone when you're coming and going. It's also very quiet and much bigger than just a regular bedroom. It's in a very pretty, country neighborhood and only a $14 ride into downtown Nashville. It was super clean and is stocked with tea and coffee mugs and you even have your own fridge and microwave. The bed is also quite cozy and comfortable.
