About this house rental
A newly built very spacious 3 bedroom townhouse, with its own heated private pool a charge will be added for pool heating the garden has all day sun. The house is furnished to a very high standard with leather settees, crystal chandeliers and white marble floors, also has a large flat screen HD ready TV and DVD player plus numerous films for you to watch, or you can barbeque around the pool on our BBQ. A further garden below and a terrace from the master bedroom gives you magnificent views of the sea. This beautiful house is equipped with air-conditioning/central heating and electric awnings.

Firstly, Mike and Norma are excellent hosts and their communication either directly or via their point of contact in Spain, Helen, was excellent. We had issues with the Wi-Fi which was out of their control but they worked hard to resolve.
The Villa sits in the hills of Benalmádena, 5 min drive to the gorgeous Pueblo or 10-15 mins drive to the main strip. With 2 young children we didn’t attempt any walking but in our opinion a car is pretty important if you want to do anything based outside of the villa - we had one so wasn’t an issue. Within half hour east or west of the coast we managed to see so much. A trip to Mijas is a must and the bio-park is a fantastic zoo if you are looking for something to do.
We were unlucky enough to have 4 days of rain during our week stay, which meant we really had to “live” in the house. Whilst the town house possesses lots of charm it undoubtedly could do with some TLC. Little things such as a very wobbly unstable toilet, all the wall clocks without batteries, and an ancient oven that we could only get to grill just a few examples. The outside dining table is also in a pretty fragile state.
In summary, I would recommend the villa for guests to stay. The outside area is really lovely and it’s in a really good location for a base. With a little bit of a refresh it could be really special place.

Disappointed!! And I really hate leaving bad reviews . Without going into too much detail this property needs some real Tlc. Helen the property cleaner was very helpful with our concerns and tried her best for us .

Lovely villa and welcome from cleaner Helen, she was excellent. But… the air con wasn’t working downstairs, the springs were digging through the mattresses on the single beds which was unbearable and if you sat on the settees you sunk down a few feet! The pool cleaner only came once which isn’t good for a hot dusty climate. Not massive issues but when taken together get a bit irritating - sort those small issues and it would be perfect.

The property was perfect. It had everything we needed. On arrival we were met by Helen who explained everything to us and had provided us with essentials. Everywhere was clean and tidy and the beds very comfortable. There was plenty of space to accommodate us as a family of 5. The outdoor space was really nice, with plenty of beds to sunbathe and towels were provided for the pool, which we have never had before. There was also a place to sit and relax outside with canopies overhead if you did not want to be in the sun. The BBQ facilities were great and we made use of these. It is in a quite location but close enough for all amenities. We will be back.

Sin aire cuando más calor hace
La casa esta muy bien pero que no tenga aire wn el salón por no querer la propiedad arreglarlo muy mal.
Hace demasiado calor para no arreglarlo, según ellos por que gasta mucho por que los clientes no lo apagan, pero por el precio de la casa debería funcionar.
Todo lo demás correcto menaje muy justo.

Uitstekende omgeving en prima woning
De woning is goed gelegen. De indeling van de woning ook wel goed. De keuken had wel wat meer keukenspullen mogen hebben.
Wat wij jammer vonden is dat de omgeving van de zwembad niet gehele privacy heeft, terwijl wij hier wel om gevraagd hebben.
Voor moslim gezinnen (vrouwen) is deze woning dan niet aan te raden helaas.
Als vrouw zijnde moest ik mezelf bedekken om het zwembad in te kunnen. Wanneer je in het zwembad zit, kan niemand je zien.
Verder hebben we een fijne vakantie gehad.

Perfect in every way.
Casa Burton is the perfect Spanish retreat for us, set in a beautiful location, just minutes away from Benalmádena Pueblo, which we visited a few times, admiring the gorgeous scenery each time.
We can’t fault our stay at this villa at all, perfectly sized for the five of us but could easily sleep six. The pool and outside area is exactly what we needed, providing plenty of sun loungers and a lovely outside dining area. The villa was lovely and clean when we arrived and we were very warmly welcomed.
We were contacted weeks before our stay at the villa by Kay the agent, explaining the process for when we arrived and asking if we’d like her to get us some shopping in for when we arrived, with it being a Sunday. We took up this brilliant offer and it was really handy for us as we were delayed arriving and didn’t have to worry about going out to try and hunt some groceries down for the week.
Overall this villa was like home from home for us and we’d hugely recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely relaxing stay in Benalmádena.

Our stay at Casa Burton December 2019
Stayed at the villa Dec 2019, over Christmas. Booked for 2 weeks but ended up going home early. We didn’t hire a car and found the villa a bit to remote for us. The villa itself is nice we had no issues in a quite residential area, only problem was not a nice smell from the bottom bathroom which was probably the drains . The walk up to Benalmádena paublo was a good uphill climb and took us about 20/25 minutes. It’s worth the walk or a taxi it’s a pretty little village with restaurants and a few hotels .The nearest supermarket is 40 minutes on foot so you realistically need a car or a taxi. Train station is 20 minutes down hill and from there you can access Benalmadena centre ,Malaga Fuengirola, and many more little towns, Which we used Most days and very cheap to . We went to Malaga, to see the Christmas lights what a Beautiful city. There’s plenty to see and do so it a nice quiet base but a bit to much for us the walk back up the hills I would recommend you hire a car .

Juist in één kamer met drie eenpersoons bedden waarvan er twee matrassen aan verandering toe zijn. En toch een onaangename reuk in beide badkamers. Maar wij zouden daar zeker kunnen leven .

Nice property but a little remote.
Nice property, but further out than we thought and with 2 young grandchildren we needed a car to get around I think this would apply to everyone. Spacious apartment, clean and tidy with a lovely pool. The only downsides were the agent left us outside for an hour in the miday sun with 2 young children. Also there was a problem with a faulty air con unit and when reported to the agent we got little response, however the owners responded immediately and arranged an engineer. Overall we had a .lovely stay at the property and would recommend it.

Great stay
Our family of 4 had a wonderful weeks stay at Casa Burton. The villa was ideal for us with great views. The walk up to the village was a little taxing in the midday sun but other than that the location was brilliant. We would certainly recommend the property to family and friends and next time we plan to visit the Benalmádena area we will be in touch.

Benalmadena est une ville/village superbe mais malheureusement, les abords sont très sales.
La maison est grande et propre, jolie et entretenue. On a eu un bon accueil de Lydia. En mars, il est nécessaire de faire chauffer la piscine sinon on ne peut pas en profiter. Les points plus négatifs : les 2 salles de bain dégagent une forte odeur d égouts. Il est impossible de prendre une douche à l étage car le débit d eau est un minuscule filet. Il n y a donc qu une salle de bain utilisable, celle avec la baignoire. Mais si l eau du.bain coule, impossible de faire une vaisselle par exemple. Ce qui est dommage aussi, c est qu il y a un grand pilonne électrique dans la rue, juste à côté de la maison.
Toutes les chaînes de télévision sont en anglais.
Les matelas sont très durs en bas et en haut, on sent fort les ressorts.
Nous avons été très surpris de trouver quelqu'un qui nettoyait la piscine en rentrant d une balade. Nous aurions préféré être prévenu.

Good location
Villa Burton was lovely and comfortable. We had great weather for the week. We used ground floor as it had all rooms we needed and I have breathing difficulties. Would not recommend upstairs for anyone with mobility problems as , but ground floor was fine. Well equipped including UK TV which was great so didn't miss my favourite programmes. The bed downstairs was the best I have ever slept in,must have been a memory foam one. Villa great location for getting to most popular places and near big supermarkets. Quiet area with good views..

Quiet residential location - Home from Home
This is a lovely base for a stay close to Benalmádena Pueblo, it's such a pretty village. The villa is exactly like the photos portray on the web site. There were six of us, two couples and two teenagers and it was comfortable for all. The kitchen is well equipped and we used the BBQ a couple of times. As it was late October we requested that the pool be heated and it was like a warm bath. We received a thoughtful welcome pack on arrival which was a nice touch. Our car hire fell through but we managed fine without one, the village is about a 20 min walk up a steep hill and you can get buses from there, alternatively there is a train station a 20 min walk down hill. There are plenty of good restaurants in the village (our favourite was an Italian called Da Cosimo), we did a trip to the marina which was a bit of a contrast. Mijas is also worth a visit. We had a great time at Casa Burton!

wonderfully relaxing holiday
lovely villa every giving everything you need for a relaxing stay. norma and everyone we dealt with including pool men very friendly and helpful. the whole family loved having our own pool and spent lots of time enjoying it. Only thing id say for anyone else is everyone said 10 mins walk to pueblo and it took a lot longer and up very steep roads only did it once and in the heat with a pushchair and a 3 year old not something i tried again.Also not well lit as well as very steep walk if undertaken of a night.Taxis cheap but with 6 of us needed 2 each time each way so in the end ended up hiring a car.Not something that would put us off coming again but would hire car from the start now that we know. once in benalmedina buses and trains to explore surrounding area and lots of nice and reasonable places to eat,enjoyed the marina which wasnt as expensive as expected. would recommend this lovely villa as long as you have no mobility problems or are happy to use taxis or hire a car to get about.perfect for a relaxing holiday.

Loved the heated pool
The house was very nice, a car would be an advantage but we managed fine with taxis. We paid to have the pool heated which was fabulous, just like getting into a bath, would highly recommend.we had a couple of problems, no water for half a day, rang and waited for a call back which never came but the water came back on later in the day. Had no tv for the entire stay but you don't go to Spain to sit indoors watching tv. Overall enjoyed our stay

Lovely little house. I say little - it looks little but it isn't! Makes a nice change to have EVERYTHING you need & all working! from the TV to the BBQ. Kitchen has more than enough utensils. Comfy sofas. Really quiet. Day & night.
Pool area nice and no one looking over.
Wifi worked perfectly. We had a car for driving to beach etc would recommend as although you can walk to the village it's about 20 mins and not always convenient especially in heat....or maybe take a cab.... we enjoyed our stay at Casa Burton and seeing as we visit the area pretty much every year we feel we may have found our home from home! Highly recommended!

Un bon accueil de notre hôtesse, malgré l'heure tardive (22h00) a débuté notre semaine, la piscine était la bien venue, pour les plus courageux le village très sympathique et pittoresque avec beaucoup de restaurants, des épiceries et boulangerie, est à 15/20mn à pied.
La maison est conforme à l'annonce.
Une voiture est quand même à prévoir pour circuler et découvrir la région.
Les Andalous sont très accueillants.

Super vacances du 05/09 au 15/09/2016. La maison et ses extérieurs étaient comme dans l'annonce. La piscine atout majeur de la maison, était formidable, bien entretenue. La maison est très bien équipée, très propre. rien ne manquait (serviettes pour la piscine, serviettes de toilettes ...) .
La maison est bien située, au calme sans vis à vis. Les propriétaires ont été tres disponibles pour des renseignements lors de nos échanges de mail.

Comfortable and homey villa with amazing views
Our stay at Mike and Norma's villa was fantastic! We stayed for one week in mid-June and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The villa was tidy and well-maintained and was the perfect size for our group (two couples and two children). I must say the views were amazing of both the sea and the mountains. The kids were IN LOVE with the pool and we spent a lot of our time relaxing in the backyard enjoying it. The air conditioning in the living room and bedrooms worked great which was a major bonus at night! The nearby Pueblo had a great grocery store and bakery that we used multiple times and also had many tasty restaurants that would suit any palette. We took taxis most places as the hills are a steep climb both up AND down (especially for children in the heat), but taxis were cheap usually costing only about 6 euros anywhere we wanted to go. We would love to come back some day!

We love it!
We have wonderful holidays here every year, and counting down the days until we return again next year. The house is decorated to a high standard, and provides all those luxurious touches to make your stay even more special. The kids love the private pool and having the chance to catch up on UK TV channels in the cosy lounge. The house is just minutes walk away from the most beautiful village, boasting the most amazing restaurants, bars, and shops. There is something for everyone here, but if your feeling in the mood for the busier areas, its only a short taxi ride down to the Marina.

Perfect in every way
A fantastic villa in an amazing location. We spent a week here with our 15yr old daughter and her friend and all loved every minute of it. The villa is wonderful and really does have everything you could wish for. It is a home from home with all the facilities you could need (fully equipped kitchen, BBQ, TV,DVD); it's beautifully furnished and decorated; spacious and great for relaxing. The pool is perfect and cleaned regularly - twice during our one week stay, and the outdoor area has lighting so that it can be enjoyed at night time. The location is excellent - 10 min walk ( up a steep hill) or taxi for 5/6 euros into the village which is a 'picture postcard' Spanish village with white narrow streets leading into a beautiful square edged with lovely restaurants and bars. The village really came alive at night with a vibrant and friendly atmosphere. There are so many fantastic places to visit nearby-amongst many Puerto Banus, Marbella and our favourite Mijas. Overall it was a great holiday - the villa was perfect, the village of Pueblo was a real taste of tradition and the surrounding location offered many great days out. Mike and Norma couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful with their information and recommendations for places to visit.Can't wait to go again.
