beautiful location, beach was fabulous.
Room was very comfortable, big bed and plenty of pillows, towels etc. loved the outdoor shower.
Dean who worked in the restaurant was very helpful and friendly.
No reception, no check in or check out, no times when someone was available, so there was no “face” to the hotel other than Dean who was great and helped us a few times. This meant there was no access to local information, no point of reference other than a WhatsApp number which had slow responses.

loved the location, the quieter part of the strip for sure so we actually slept! Close walk to all the good places to eat and hang out. The beach is right there! surfing to both sides but not directly in front so there is room to swim a bit too!! the pool and beds by pool were great. The water is warm! air conditioning worked awesome, beds were comfortable! Vibe was cute!
can’t think of things we didn’t like!
4.5
Location and property just beach front.
Maintenance opportunities.
Toilets, front door and lights.

This is an exceptional hotel and the villas were very enjoyable and as advertised. The proximity to the beach is a big attraction. Very comfortable the entire stay. Staff were exceptional at meeting every request. The food at Uma the restaurant was very good and very attentive service.
The only caution to those who come to this hotel is that the music from the bar is significant, even from your villa. The bar clearly attracts a younger crowd so just be aware that the music started just after noon and went until around 10:00. This did make it more difficult to talk at the restaurant or if you want to go to sleep early and expect to hear only the surf, but not a big deal if all you want to do is watch the sunset at the bar and stay up later.

boutique hotel, private feel, only 4 villas so the pool is basically all yours, great restaurant on site.
right in the heart of town so there is a bit of noise (usually just music)

The room was really lovely, clean and spacious. We loved being able to walk straight onto the beach. A lovely fresh fruit plate was brought to our room every morning.

The location was perfect right on the beach
Dirty dated, kitchenette and run down surfaces. Open air shower which was dirty and filled with leaves and we even had 2 crabs come up from the drain along with spiders and large aunts which were all over the bathroom at night. No towels at the pool or drink service. We were told to bring our bathroom towels to the pool.

The room was spacious and had plenty of shelves, smart tv, good wifi. The staff was very nice but sparse.
Whole room was dirty. Floors were sticky and made your feet black. Bed terrible, pitted and slanted/not flat. Towels limited to 2 and cannot be used for pool. No beach towels. Many big black ants, even in your bed. Shower floor slippery with slime from not being scrubbed. Pool was hot and yucky, no reception, not private because of the bar/restaurant/people walking through all night. Most important; loud music from the bar until 6:30am, yes, 6:30am!!! NO SLEEP. Santa Teresa beach is full of beautiful young bodies and all nighters. This area is not fit for older people or children

Beautiful Room. Daily Fruit plate was amazing. Loved being so close to the beach. Loved the outdoor shower. The cleaning staff was very nice, professional and great at their job!
I wouldnt swim in the pool. Looked gross. No front desk, so difficult to get ahold of anyone while you're staying there.

Location is top
Food at Habaneros restaurant amazing
AC and TV work perfectly
Bed and beddings were nice
Staff really helpful
Nice private stay
fruit plate in the morning delivered to the room is a great detail
Need to renovate bathrooms ASAP
they have so much potential to be a really amazing property, but renovation is a must.
Some times hot water did not run, but this is a problem in many properties I stayed, as is the bad smell of running water in many areas of Santa Teresa.

We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed our stay very much.
It's great for everything that matters:
- perfect location. Beachfront, very quiet. No noise from the road or the bar. Just 4 villas on the property, so it feels very private.
- great beachfront bar/restaurant, very attentive service
- close to many bars, shops and restaurants
- rooms were clean
Nothing major, just some details:
- rooms were in general nice, but some spots would need better maintenance.
- kitchen was old and somewhat poorly equipped, anything beyond boiling water is a challenge
- advance payment for reservation was not managed by booking.com, but by bank transfer, which was a bit strange. Payments on site with credit card were no problem.
- reception is in the beach front bar, so it may be difficult to get in touch with someone before noon.

3.5
The staff were very nice and the location is great. Removed from the road enough to be quiet but within easy walking distance of shops, cafes, restaurants, and groceries. Fresh fruit delivered to the villa every mornings, very comfortable bed, and each villa has a nice covered outdoor patio area with a couch. The pool is a perfect temperature and the indoor/outdoor shower is very cool. Hadar and Lior are great and will help you with recommendations and booking adventures (atv, snorkeling etc)
There is no front desk so if you aren’t in direct contact with Lior it can be difficult to find someone to help, especially in the mornings when the restaurant isn’t open yet. Also there were some occasional drips from the ceiling in places and also ants would make their way into the bathroom and around the edges of the room at night. Also the stove didn’t get very hot and took a while to heat up so it is difficult to cook much in the room. We were able to make eggs and toast but not sure if water would boil. No huge problems but hopefully those things can be improved in the future.

The location couldn't have been more perfect. It's off of the main, dusty road away from the noise. The grounds were gorgeous. We loved our little villa, especially the outdoor living area which is where we spent most of our time. The staff at Habanero always went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Incredible group of people.
It was challenging to communicate with staff which was frustrating at times. There's no front desk or lobby. We felt as though some minor things could have been upgraded and updated up in the rooms such as towels and the bed.
3.5
Good restaurant beach front , although not always open. Very good location at the beach. Very good Shampoo made by them.
Cleaning could be better ( the smell of the products they use are very strong and chemichal ) , there could be some activities like yoga .
