Great location, beautiful Christmas decorations with a real homely feel.
We go out walking most days but there was no where to put our muddy boots. A boot rack would have been helpful, also some coat hooks for our coats.

We recently stayed here to attend a wedding at San ffraed house! Ideal location only 10/15minutes away! The cottage was perfect for us when we arrived it was warm and clean. Fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook. The views of the sheep and horses in the field on a frosty morning was a bonus! Overall 10/10 experience!

Hosts were very friendly, attentive and helpful. Bubbly, strawberries and brownies on arrival were a very welcome treat. The whole property was spotless and the patio/jacuzzi area was lovely. Lounge has two cozy and large settees which felt luxurious, loved the beds! Small children will love the private play area lots of toys and room for them. Finally All the facilities tick all the boxes and there are some lovely walks, golf and Abergavenny nearby.
Booking.com didn’t send full checking in information in a timely manner (sent on the day of travel), this has not happened before when I’ve booked in the past.

We stayed in the two bed cottage for 4 nights. Absolutely amazing experience and we really liked the location , very private cottage with the host family staying in another cottage next door. We absolutely love the beautiful view facing the garden which is very convenient for my puppy and we also enjoyed the jacuzzi!
There is one bathroom in the cottage and would be nice to two so each room can have their own bathroom. We were told that the host is planning to renovate the house and convert the laundry room into the second bathroom.
Booking also marks this cottage at another location , so we had to contact the host to find exactly where this cottage is.

Alison is very friendly & welcoming. The cottage had everything we needed. Sparkling clean. Little treat on arrival made us feel special. Easy walk along the bike path to the nearest pub, which was lively & welcoming.

The cottage was perfect for our family, as there was plenty of space for us all to relax and enjoy some quality time together.
Alison and Dean were also very welcoming and great hosts. Definitely a place we will be returning to.

The Sugar Loaf cottage was absolutely beautiful. Hot tub was a dream and our view of a huge field with 7 horses and a little baby foal topped it off.
Alison and Dean are such a lush couple. Wonderful hosts and seem like genuinely lovely people.
We had everything we needed and even a welcome pack with restaurant and take away menus and suggestions.
The bed, pillows, sofa and armchair were all so comfortable!
Our weekend honeymoon couldn't have been any more perfect! We have now decided we'll return every year for our anniversary.
I have nothing negative to say at all!

Absolutely amazing stay here, myself and partner booked last minute and would definitely recommend a stay here. Nothing is too much for the hosts.

Alison and Dean were excellent hosts and were very helpful. The property is very well presented and the food provided off the treats menu (which you order and pay for separately) is fantastic!
We really enjoyed our stay and will be back in the future.

Location shown on the map is wrong and makes you think it is closeer to Abergavenny than it actually is.

Loved the hot tub and garden area.

Very welcoming host, always available if you had any questions. Lovely location.
Only negative was the unexpected costs not pointed out on booking. Com. £30 for a dog and £25 for use of hot tubs. Host said she has tried to display this on booking. Com but was unable to do so.

We liked everything about it. From the mountain view to the fantastic jacuzzi.

Beautiful cottage, lovely grounds and excellent facilities. Very welcoming to us and our dog. Close to bike routes and the beautiful Brecon Beacons. (I won't be using the new woke name!) Alison is a very helpful and friendly host.
Only the boiler issue where you can't have hot water without heating! Had to keep turning it on and off, but really a minor thing.

Everything. We had a lovely stay.

The staff were lovely. The area was nice and secluded but not too far from local amenities or the walks nearby. The cottage was very modern and stylish, cosy and comfortable. The hot tub was great.
The garden was massive and fenced but dogs could easily get out, so we couldn't really let our dogs go in the garden area.

Most thoughtful and friendly, approachable hosts, made us feel super welcome and at home! Place is super cosy and clean, a home from home vibe with a great view from the hot tub! Not to mention, the worlds comfiest bed... as new parents, we enjoyed a good nights sleep in the comfiest bed ever!
Loved it... ,Alison & Dean, thanks so much!

Crystal clean cute little spot and fantastic hot tub. Stayed in many places, easily top 5 places ever for me. The host (owner) was an absolute sweetheart and went up and beyond to make our stay perfect.
Everything was perfect.

Our wonderful hosts Alison and Dean were wonderful, welcoming and attentive. They ensured the cottage was warm upon arrival and very clean as well as having tasty homemade treats for us.
The hot tub was amazing and a must for relaxation. The scenery breathtaking and the surrounding amenities with 5-10mins of our stay.
The low ceilings in our cottage, however the space was very well utilised
