Was a lovely spacious property, had everything we needed, great outside space to sit and chill in between outings, supermarkets close by in car, couldn’t walk anywhere off camp, lanes have no sidewalks so defo need car.kids loved play areas and little arcade with 2p machines, lots to do on camp, dog friendly too!

Property is reasonably priced and in good condition. I would definitely book again.

Our stay at this property was disappointing, and we initially chose not to fuss about its condition. However, the situation worsened post-stay due to the host's unprofessional attitude and false accusations.
Cleanliness: The property was far from clean. We arrived to mouldy windows, a dirty oven with mould, filthy floors, and a toilet with green residue and stuffed toilet paper. The freezer had food left by previous guests. Despite adhering to all explicit rules, we were falsely accused of leaving the place in disarray.
Communication and Responsiveness: Communication was decent until we checked in. Once there, we struggled with poor communication. Issues like a broken kettle reported on the first night were handled slowly. We bought a new kettle, expecting reimbursement plus £50 for the inconvenience, as promised, but were later accused of breaking the original kettle.
Post-Stay Issues: The host falsely accused us of not cleaning the property and leaving food in the freezer, which was there before our visit. Despite providing proof and following up, the host became unresponsive, showing a lack of decency.
Host's Attitude: The host's accusations were unprofessional and unjust. The host seems to accuse guests falsely to avoid addressing their own shortcomings and to withhold deposits.
This property did not meet basic cleanliness and hospitality standards. The host's poor communication, false accusations, and unfair treatment made our stay unpleasant. Not recommended.

Great property in a great location, just a short drive to Newquay and good beaches.
Communication with the host and the check in process was very good.

Great location for visiting places
Downside no buses stop here

The communication was good with the owner up until when I repeatedly mentioned and asked for the extra set of bedding we needed for the sofa bed. We ended up having to go buy a sheet and duvet cover as only thing supplied was a new duvet. We had no pillows. There was an overwhelming smell of damp, when moving the sofa bed to fit when open there was copious amounts of dirt and rubbish under the sofa unfortunately. I think we left the property in a cleaner state than when we arrived. A little disappointed as we paid a lot of money after originally being quoted half the price. Like I said it was an ok base for our new year holiday.

Great base to explore the surrounding areas, close to A30 so great for visiting parts of cornwall upto distances an hour or so away. Fully stocked kitchen whoch was a bonus. Site has good facilities. Enough space for 2 families.

Really enjoyed our stay at this property as a family of five it's not easy to always find somewhere that accommodates all of us in separate bedrooms and provides extra bathrooms too! Not far from. Newquay, Perranporth and many more tourist locations.
The property itself is a great size and layout, loads of space for us all, but was just missing that extra little tender loving care that comes with a normal direct rental.
But overall would definitely go back as great value for money for the size of the accommodation.

Initially disappointing that guests were unable to use the pool and this only made clear in email sent days before holiday outlining site rules (neighbours there informed group that owners had to pay additional £1000 per year for guests to access this facility).
Owner’s retained deposit following stay after claiming damage to bed headboard. Disappointing as the bed, that was on casters was attached to the headboard that had in turn been attached to the plasterboard wall using incorrect wall plugs (photographs/communication with owners available on request). Bed moved to retrieve dropped phone resulting in headboard being pulled away from wall. Informed that there was evidence of previous damage to headboard support hence bed/board being slid back in place. The owners said the headboards are attached to the walls to prevent the beds being moved? No prior warning by owners not to move the beds and odd that the bed was left on its casters which both allows easy movement and a gap for items to slide underneath bed. When this was pointed out to owners, correspondence cut off by them and no further response received to my last two emails which makes me wonder if this type of incident has affected previous guests? This experience has left a rather sour taste on what was, on the whole, an enjoyable holiday for the party.
Future guests be aware that 1. There is no access to the pool on site and 2. Do not move any furniture items before first thoroughly checking if they are fixed.

Accommodation adequate, but a bit tired
Lots of room, and on the whole very clean. Owner was very quick to answer a small issue we had with the dishwasher. However, the cottage was in need of a little TLC in places. There was grout missing from the bathroom floor and there had obviously been quite a bad leak through to the lounge. Most of the doors don’t close properly. The sink tap moved as you use it. The wet room had nowhere to put toiletries etc. Nothing to spoilt the lovely week we had in Cornwall, but there are a lot of quick fixes that could make such a difference. Having said all that we would still recommend it for a good central base to visit Cornwall.

Ideal location perfect base would recommend
Ample space for the 9 of us plus 2 dogs, ideal location to use as a base for visiting the surrounding areas. We visited the pub on site for a meal which was lovely and they were very accommodating for my daughter who is in a wheelchair. We also used the take away on site which was also great. On arrival we had an issue with the front door which was sorted on the same day by the management team. The only thing I could suggest is a shower chair for the wet room, we managed fine as luckily we could use a camping chair we had with us. Would definitely stay at the property and site again.

We loved our week in Cornwall. The house was spotless and very spacious and in a great location. I felt the price was very good for the size and location of the property. The bed was so comfortable, I've had some terrible nights sleep in holiday beds so it's appreciated! Self service Laundrette was very convenient too. We had great weather and loved our stay. Many thanks

We stayed for a week in August 2020. We were told we couldn’t check in until 6pm because of extra cleaning because of COVID. It says in the check in document to call in at main reception when you get there - however it doesn’t actually open until 12pm and we got there at 9:30am - so something to note. We also called and text the man indicated on the check in document - however he never replied so had to keep calling until he eventually did. He said he’d let me know when the house was ready - he never did. My sister (who arrived late afternoon) went to reception and was just allowed to check in.The house itself is as it looks on the pictures displayed on the website. There were 8 of us plus one toddler and was only just big enough for us - definitely too small for 10 people. The house is very rough round the edges - could be an amazing house if sproused up a bit. There also is no wifi, which in 2020 is very unusual - something I think could be an easy improvement, especially as phone signal on all networks is poor!! (We wanted WiFi for group family games not social media). Luckily my sister had a dongle which we used for WiFi. We also had a few problems with the house during our stay - which was quite promptly delt with. Not being able to use the on site facilities is a bit of a downer as well, especially on rainy days, it would be perfect as an indoor activity - we even offered to pay to use the facilities and they said no, which we thought was ridiculous as it’s an easy way for them to make money. (We did know when booking that we weren’t allowed to use the facilities but to not even be able to pay extra to use them I think is just silly). Overall we wouldn’t stay here again, it just isn’t somewhere we would normally stay (we only did stay here to be near other family who were also staying in the area - normally we would stay in a house of its own entity with a pool etc). It’s a nice enough house - but just not for us and could do with a bit of tlc.

Great place located in the perfect spot
We had problems with bad weather but the property manager, Mark, was amazing and made sure all was good. Great service, lovely property. Suited us well with the downstairs wet room for Mum.

Spacious comfy home from home
Good location for exploring the area, Padstow, Watergate bay etc within easy reach. Welcome pack containing milk, coffee, tea and biscuits on arrival, only problem with facilities was no hairdryer which is unusual in a holiday let. Very comfortable beds, spacious with plenty of seating to eat and relax. Nice outside space which you can see clearly from the property photos isn't enclosed but worth keeping in mind if you have dogs. it is on a large holiday site which was busy during our New Year stay but cottage was peaceful and quiet, slight noise periodically from the enthusiastic keep fit classes as the pool and gym is directly opposite the house but not intrusive.

Perfect family holiday
The property was clean and the kitchen was stocked with tea bags milk and biscuits for our arrival. The rooms are nice sizes and we felt it was home from home. The site had everything we needed from a well stocked shop to a family friendly pub. We will definitely be back next year.

Nice big house with reasonable price
Nice big clean house, good location and price is good also. I wanted to give 5 starts but two problems I had while staying. It was described that there will be free wifi but there was no proper wifi connections in the house. We couldn’t get wifi on non of our devices. Another issue I had I wanted to use the swimming pool service but is wasn’t available and when I asked them I can pay extra but they didn’t allow.
Otherwise all the rooms , living room and bathrooms are good size and clean. Price is also reasonable. And the service and communications is also good.

A relaxing stay
We rented this property for a 4 night, long weekend break. Overall, the property was clean and tidy, maintained in a good condition and offered all the facilities we'd have expected. I'm sure we'll be booking again in the future.
