Chapel Cottage is a quintessentially cornish fishing cottage tucked away in a quiet courtyard in the heart of the beautiful harbour town of Padstow. It is perfectly located moments away from the hustle and bustle of the boutique high street shops, exceptional restaurants and scenic harbour front. The property contains two king size bedrooms, perfect for a couples retreat and a third bunk bedroom also making it an excellent choice for a family holiday.
Padstow is located in the Camel estuary on the North Coast of Cornwall. It is famous for its foodie culture as it is the home to Rick Stein's empire and michelin star restaurant Number 6, by Paul Ainsworth. It also acts as the perfect base to explore the many stunning beaches North Cornwall has to offer; great for swimming, walking and watersports.

Excellent location. Property has been put together with care. Bedding is beautiful and beds very comfortable. Think the kitchen is a good space, but sparse on content. Fabulous wood used throughout for doors, bedside tables. Really enjoyed our stay here. Would definitely book again.

Clean and tidy modern amenities. One of the best Apartments on our 6 week trip. We love Padstow and this Apartment was the best. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Centrally located Shops and Restaurants all around. Easy walking and close to Parking. Would be very busy in Summer peak. We went in December.

Lovely property in absolutely the perfect location. Padstow has many outstanding restaurants and we were able to walk to these every night during our week in Cornwall. Property is immaculately clean and provides everything one needs for a week away from home. We will definitely stay here again.

The little cottage is charming and has everything you need but I would suggest taking your own pillows (or the host buying new ones!) as the ones there were rather lumpy! But all in all a charming little cottage, homely and welcoming and with the woodburner it was just what we needed after days braving the wind along the coastal path.

The cottage is perfectly located in the heart of Padstow. the cottage is spacious and very well equipped, nicely simpley decorated. The checking in times were changed from the initial advert, for the better. We enjoyed out stay in the cottage. Padstow has a few car parks, we used Link Road Car Par on top of the hill, parking app easy to use and not far walk into town, but the hills are steep!

This beautiful property was perfectly in every way, it's located in the heart of Padstow, it's well equipped and kept to a very high standard of cleanliness.
Great setup for adults only stay or a young family like ours ( 5 & 1 yr old).
We have already rebooked.

Lovely property: well equipped, spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds. An uphill walk to the best value car park, but that is the price you pay for staying right in the heart of Padstow. Location was very quiet and secluded, but still ideal for short walks to the many excellent restaurants (be aware that even in low season you need to book these well in advance). Just one suggestion: some loose cushions for the sofa, which was rather deep for total comfort (perfect with a pillow). Highly recommended.

We stayed for a long weekend and had a fantastic time. The cottage is very well located, right in the centre but very quiet. The accommodation was great, lots of space and with well thought touches such as night lights for the little ones. It was a home from home and we couldn’t fault anything. We would highly recommend a stay at Chapel Cottage and hope to return.

Perfect cosy hideaway
Tucked away behind the hustle and bustle of the Padstow streets this was just a perfect place to retreat back to after a busy day. Superbly presented and furnished to a high standard. The beds were extremely comfortable and everyone commented on having a great nights sleep. If you didn't fancy venturing out you would have everything you needed to prepare a meal in relaxing surroundings. The closest pub The London was all but 3 steps from the gate which was welcoming and with an outside terrace and closely adhering to government Covid guidelines. Owner of Chapel Cottage was extremely accommodating when we had to reschedule our trip and for our first trip out of lockdown it almost felt normal and was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Thank you.

Wonderful stay
We stayed for a long weekend and had a fantastic time. The cottage is very well located, right in the centre but very quiet. Relaxing stay in central Padstow
Chapel Cottage is a great place to stay in Padstow, right in the centre of town but quiet and with space to relax. It is comfortable and well equipped - more so than many other cottages we have stayed in - with the sense that it has been lived in and thought through by the owners rather than furnished just for rental. The rooms are a good size and the bedrooms have high quality mattresses and bedlinen. Padstow is a fantastic town and within a short walk there is an amazing range of food options. Highly recommended.

Lovely and clean, comfortable and ideal location
Second visit so we knew exactly what to expect and once again had a fantastic stay. Location is ideal, just behind the shops in the heart of Padstow and easy walking distance of everything in the town. Cottage is very well appointed, everything is spotlessly clean and modern. All communication with Gavin was quick and easy, absolutely loved our stay

The property was warm clean and well equipped.
The owners a great eye for detail and gone the extra mile. small items like milk tea sugar, herbs spices. Lovely coats lotions etc...
Chapel house position was superb right in the middle of Padstow.

Excellent cottage in the heart of Padstow
Cottage is maintained to a very high standard, looked like it had been refreshed / redecorated recently. Everything in good working order and comfortable. The Chapel court is very quiet but right in the centre of Padstow, ideal for exploring the town.
Only drawback is lack of parking but this was clearly indicated before we booked. There is a loading bay close by and we managed to park there for a few minutes each time we needed to load / unload.

Amazing little gem!
Cannot rate this lovely cottage enough. You’re in the heart of padstow yet feel so private. Lovely furnishings inside. We have two children and it was perfect; stair gates and high chairs etc provided although would be lovely for older family or adult only holiday. Cannot wait to return!

Absolutely LOVED this cottage
This is a fantastic cottage, tucked away in the heart of Padstow. Beautiful decor, clean, fully equipped and every so cozy. We loved it! The beds were lovely and comfy, the kitchen was great to cook in, the sitting room very relaxing and best of all it was really quiet despite being so close to the Padstow shops and amenities. It was great being so close to everything; the restaurants, cafes and shops nearby but also the lovely walks and neighbouring beaches and towns. We are already planning to come back. Thank you Gav, great place!

Myself, my sister and her children spent a week in this spacious and very well equiped house. It was very convenient for everything and communication was excellent. The pictures on the website were extremely accurate and the house was warm and inviting. We would definitely return and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A beautiful winter stay
Chapel Cottage is very central in the heart of Padstow. It is beautifully appointed with everything that you would need and want. It was great to have lots of space to relax and unwind. It is also very warm and cosy. We will definitely be back.

A lovely comfy cottage in a perfect position. Clean and spacious with lovely touches.
We stayed for the padstow festival as my daughter had a stall. Perfect position to pop to and fro with stock.
Comfortable lounge, beds and beautifully decorated.

Great find in the heart of Padstow
Lovely, quiet, cosy and clean house with loads of character and quality furnishings. All restaurants, shops and port were just a couple of minutes walk away as well as the port car park. Could not fault it!
