House was clean and beautiful just like the pictures advertised. We were a total of 8 and fit comfortably. Plenty of towels and all the kitchen utensils you may need. Stunning views and easy access to grocery stores and restaurants. Will definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed the outdoor area, the dock was perfect for fishing and watching the sunrise an sunset. The kitchen area had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The pool area was clean and well kept. We will definitely stay at this vacation home again when we visit the South Padre Island area.

This home is such a great family place. When you walk in the door, you are wow'd by the views, the space, the neighborhood amenities, and how clean the entire home feels. Then the property just keeps giving. From the backyard to the sound system for movies, the ambient fireplace, and the spacious rooms; it really was a home away from home. It was the perfect location to host my daughter's 16th birthday retreat with 3 of her closest friends. Amazing is all I can say about this place. We will definitely be returning!

This property was in a great location with a beautiful view. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room. It was very quick to get to South Padre Island but also allowed us to experience Port Isabel and surrounding areas. The only main negatives were the pool wasn't heated and the hot tub didn't work so it was basically without those amenities. We also got a lot of bug bites around the property. We did have one issue with the internet and the property management company was quick to respond and get it corrected.

This was our 3rd year visiting SPI over Christmas break. Our second time in Las Joyas. This was a great house. Very quiet, perfect location, amazing views. The house was stocked with everything we needed for a 2 week stay. We will definitely book again!

The house was just as beautiful as listed and the convenience to South Padre Island was perfect! Our boys loved fishing right off the back porch or walking over to the community pool. It was a short 10 minute drive over the bridge to South Padre Island. My only complaint is an “employee” with Vacasa showed up unannounced and just walked right into the house while we were still there, no knocking or anything, just let himself in. It was very startling and nobody from the property ever called me back to address this.

Peaceful & beautiful
My family & I had a great and peaceful time. The home was clean and spacious. The back patio backs to the ocean perfect for fishing and sitting outside with the family.
The location is convent. The pool and hot tub are clean. The entire property 🙌 was GREAT. WE WILL BE BACK THANK YOU TO THE OWNERS!!!!

Outstanding home, view and location
The home was well equipped with everything we needed. It has an outstanding view. It was a very friendly community. Bird watching in the backyard is exceptional. It was very clean and quiet with comfortable beds. Thank you so much!

Overall, we couldn't catch any fish since the tides were pretty low when we went but still had a blast just being outside enjoying the view and silence.

Great place for a family vacation!
Backyard is very serene. Great place to wind down in the evening with great views. The staircase is a bit steep but doable . Bedrooms were nice and spacious. Overall this house makes you feel like home away from home.

Nice and cozy.
This was a great place to stay. As noted, the water is not for swimming, but we were able to fish off the house dock and walk out, with shoes, pretty far and do some fishing. Was bummed that there were no bunk beds like the picture. Maybe some more toilet paper for longer stays.. All and all it was a good stay and very relaxing.

this was not the best experience at a vacation rental. We had to deal with a leak in the kitchen the flowed into the dining room. We reported it the first day and it was never fixed.
The beds and pillows were flat and could be upgraded a little.

Wonderful & peaceful home!
My family and I absolutely loved this home. It’s kitchen was very well appointed. The home layout was nice and open. The back patio and the upstairs veranda we’re great for enjoying coffee and birdwatching. Being able to climb down the ladder and walk out into the bay and fish was such a luxury. It was like having the Laguna Madre in our backyard!

The location was great. Check in was off they sent us the wrong codes for the door, the gate, and the internet. There where giant ants all over everything! I called twice only to sit on hold for 25 minutes both times.

Great amenities
Loved the tile floors and spacious rooms! The pool is also very nice! Suggestions would be to install a shower caddy in the master shower we had to sit our toiletries on the back of the toilet. Also may want to consider getting pest control, we had to kill over a dozen jumbo sized ants.

Awesome HOUSE on the Bay!!!
May family and I really enjoyed this home. It was everything we expected and more. There was lots of room for some serious card playing and game nights with the family. With three bedrooms there was also plenty of privacy for those afternoon naps. At first we thought we had rented a house a little to far from South Padre. We we were so wrong. The drive to the island is an easy 8 to 10 minutes. We enjoyed the house so much that we are planning a second trip!!!! Hope the house works out for you and your family as good as it did for us. The only thing that I could see that might be an issue is the parking arrangements if you had two vehicles. The garage makes the two parking only a one parking space. But we did notice that there is overflow parking in front of the pool which is only a couple of houses down the street.

Our family of 5 very much enjoyed our stay. The view was lovely and we had plenty of space throughout the home. The home was clean and
comfortable. The shared pool area was well kept up and we watched the sunset from the pier. My kids like sitting on the wall and watching for hermit crabs and crabs as well. You are only minutes from an HEB which came in handy when we were grilling. I'd stay again.

Wonderful family weekend
We loved everything about the house . Everything was so nice view was so beautiful. My fishing time was ok. The tide was low . my daughter and I walked out to the ocean to cast for bit. Got little nibbles here and there. Would love to stay there again and again. Kids loved it. Thank you so much

Cute and cozy!
Rented this condo with my boyfriend and two kids for a fishing weekend. The condo was super comfortable, easy to find, and meet most of our expectations. We spent the weekend around the island with the intention of spending it mostly fishing. This condo is advertised as the water being in your backyard to fish. However, we should have done more research with the tides because there was absolutely no water to fish in the backyard (bayside). We kept having to go to the piratea pier. Which was fine, we just expected to fish from the condo. Because the tides can't be controlled, I still gave five stars. The condo was clean and provided everything a small family could need.
One takeaway would be providing when the water would be at its highest and its lowest on the booking page.

Misleading pictures of outside, driveway and parking awful, house is nice and comfortable
Back area was small, needed mowing and had dog doo! Has a 10’ wall to water, so pics are misleading for access to bay. Tons of mosquitoes and other bugs so wonder if pest control services house? House is really accommodating and comfortable. Bring extra towels if party of 7. Driveway has a steep grade and really unable to accommodate two vehicles.

The house was more than we could have expected. It was perfectly situated as to allow us access to everything we needed. The gentleman that we had contact with was friendly and informative. He even told us of a fireworks show that enede our trip great. We can't wait to visit again.

Property is in excellent condition, kids enjoy the swimming pool alot they had alots of fun fishing from the back yard down to the bay, the sunrise was pretty amazing, overall experience AMAZING!!! We are coming back soon
