Would stay here again, would recommend to friends and family.

The views were amazing, overlooking the harbour. Breakfast was included, Don was a very kind and wonderful host, very accomadating.

Wunderschöner Ausblick, herzliche Atmosphäre

Don war ein unglaublich herzlicher Gastgeber, wir durften die Waschmaschinen und Trockner benutzen, Wäschespinne stand auch zur Verfügung, und er hatte sogar den Kühlschrank schon befüllt. Küche mit Toaster, Wasserkocher, Herd, Backofen, Minibackofen und Mikrowelle - So komplett hat es manch einer nicht mal zuhause. Das Bad mit großer Duschkabine war neu und tipptopp ausgerüstet. Großer Wohn- und Essbereich, flauschiger Teppichboden, Fernseher mit Fire-TV-Stick. Große Veranda, die man benutzen darf, wenn das Wetter es zulässt. Supertoller Ausblick auf die Marina, Haus liegt auf einem Berg. Bezauberndes Haustier: ein Gelbhaubenkakadu. Wären sehr gern länger geblieben.

Million dollar views, fantastic rental

We really enjoyed our stay here...I wish it was longer than one night. Don's Place has a million dollar view for just a fraction of the price! The deck gave views down the sound and of the marina that were breathtaking. This alone was worth the money. But the rental itself was great as well. It's in a great, quiet location just minutes from Picton. It was large with comfortable furniture, a full kitchen, large tv and several beds. The bathroom has been renovated, the shower pressure was great, the towels were good quality. The eggs, bacon, milk, fruit, and a couple of beers waiting in the fridge were a wonderful touch 🙂 Don was a super friendly, gracious host and I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I thought this was a great rental, and not much to comment on. The large bed was comfortable, but my friend said the smaller bed wasn't. I think the mattresses could be updated for better comfort, but by no means did we have bad sleeps. Also, there were some bathroom toiletries (body wash, toothpaste, hand soap), but only a bit of shampoo and no conditioner. I had brought my own so this didn't matter, but offering these two things would be helpful for future guests. Other than that, my stay was wonderful!

Very relaxing and love the warm welcome from the locals.

5 minute drive from down town Picton, beautiful location in the hills with great views. Loads of bush walks within a 3 minute walk as well as the local restaurant/bar. Don is a great host, very friendly but also respects his guests privacy. Went the extra mile and lent me his phone charger for the night. I’ll definitely come back. Cheers Don

Awesome view from the kitchen and very close drive to Picton or Karaka Point. Everything supplied that you could want!

comfortable, welcoming and it hit all the marks.

host and location were fantastic and Don very communicative prior to arrival and a great host who made us feel very welcome even though the ferry was about two hours late. Included a bacon and egg breakfast and a coupe of wonderful beers. Thank you Don!

wifi was a bit slow but still did the job.

Lovely host and fantastic view

fantastic View!! Don was a brilliant and discrete host. he even left bacon and eggs and beer in the fridge.. including fresh milk. nice coffee and tea also. we were able to use the washer/dryer too.

The day we stayed was very windy and the wind made some noise on the windows.

Fab location for a fab weekend.

Super location and very clean and tidy, from the moment we arrived Don was awesome. Lots of space and everything we needed for our long weekend. Will be back.

The master bed was a bit soft and we rolled into the middle.

Awesome Place To Stay!

Views were beautiful. Don kindly left us breakfast ingredients , including bacon and eggs. Kitchen is well equipped and Don is very generous! New and modern bathroom was great. Loved the Lay-Z-Boys - great way to enjoy the Smart TV! Superb place to stay, with such a wonderful outlook on the marina. Birdsong in the evening. Overall a wonderful ambience and lovely getaway for a long weekend.

Not quite as separated from the main property/other guests as we had thought but you still very much have your own space. We were above the garage so you can hear it open and close quite loudly. Internet on phones was not the best, but when you have views and good company then it's not the end of the world!

Great location, plenty of space.

Materials provided for breakfast and coffee were a pleasant surprise. View from the kitchen great in morning. newly fitted bathroom and toilet.

Lack of view from living area. A bit run down. Steep stairs.

The host was very friendly and accomodating. We were looking for an escape weekend and that’s what we got. Great place to chill

Booking.com did something odd with the booking. When we arrived Don hadn’t been informed that we had booked at all. Don got it cleared up pretty quick so it was all good
