Location
Tired decor. Cold as no heating when coming in cold.

I loved the location, nestled in the heart of the valley, with the river running right along side, and Dolgoch falls along with the station being right behind. The Wi-Fi was also incredible! very clear connection with no drops throughout my stay! Washing facilities were also good, and the staff were very friendly explaining about access and local hot spots ect.
With the location being so remote, and having travelled to the hotel by public transport, I was not able to go out to the stores to purchase anything. As such, It would've been nice if the caffe stayed open a little longer so guests could still purchase foods.

We asked for a cooked breakfast and have no complaints; Breakfast was very good.
The only drawback with the Dolgoch is the lack of a lounge. Once indoors we are confined to bedrooms.

Good breakfast, good selection
The tea room element looked closed throughout stay. If I was a passing potential guest/walker/driver, I would have assumed closed by appearance and gone elsewhere. More guests either in tea room or guest house would have improved the ambience. Put the umbrellas up in the tea garden to invite customers.

Good value for money, great breakfast, very clean, straightforward accommodation. Beautiful location, helpful staff. No problem with parking.
Was a basic room, all the essentials but not the Ritz (but then I wasn’t paying Ritz rates either!). To be clear, this is not a complaint, just an observation- would expect the cost to go up if luxury was expected.

Brilliant location and lovely place. Nigel was brilliant, there when you needed him and very attentive but also very respectful of your own space.

Facilities. Needs updating. Such wonderful setting and the hosts so helpful but not sure is it a tea room orB&B?

The communication almost immediate, with a very approachable and friendly manner. The breakfast was excellent, and the room was spotless. Would recommend, and will definitely stay again when in the area.
There is nothing to dislike about the property.

Quiet location right next to the Talyllyn railway and Dolgoch Falls. Comfortable bed and good full English breakfast. Friendly host.

Cleanliness, comfort and convenience for my stay
All fine, could maybe do with a hook on one of the doors to hang jacket?
4.3
Breakfast was ample but could have been more choice with starters eg. Fruit and yogurt.
Bed a little springy but not too bad.

Compact and functional. A fine breakfast too.
Outside needs a bit of TLC, and inside is a bit dated.
