Marcello is a very attentive host, quick to respond to requests, and the apartment is beautifully located with easy access to attractions, public transport, restaurants, and cafes. Highly recommended!

Super impressed with all aspects of my booking. Marcello was really helpful and the apartment was fantastic.

We loved our stay. Was big enough for our family of 4 and in a great location. Gorgeous square and close to everything.

Great location if you are ok with steps. (80 down to the main town area). The neighbourhood is really delightful.
If you stay in the sofa bed room, there is no window but the door to the bathroom is opaque glass, as is the window to the bedroom, so does give a little natural light.

Driving and finding the place was a little complicated but other than that we had a great stay in this apartment. The location is in the heart of old town Lisbon and there is a car park very close buy ( a bit expensive) as well. The apartment did not have AC but it had fans and that helped. Marcello was very helpful and that made our stay quite pleasant.

We had a great time in the centre of old town of Lisboa. The apartment was perfect located, light and included everything you need for a pleasant stay. Very welcoming message from Marcello and the plate of fruits that met us was very appreciated. When we go back we will definitely try to book this place again. / Camilla

I stayed for 2 weeks in the apartment and enjoyed it to the max. Beautifully located, perfect for a stroll through Lisbons's alleys, quiet and yet not far away from all the spots to be seen. Public transport few minutes away. Nice restaurants and cafes around. Supermarket nearby...what more could you ask for?

We liked everything! It was spacious, clean apartment equipped with all appliances we need and more. The location is great, in walking distance to many Lisbon's attractions and stations of public transportation to go to others.
Marcello is a very good host!

The property was mostly clean. It’s a very dusty area. The only advice I give is to not needing a good nights sleep. The bed is terrible. However, the welcoming of Marcello is wonderful and his hospitality is incredible. Very well placed very quiet neighborhood

Marcello is a great host. Responds super promptly to all inquiries. His apartment is a nice updated flat in the Mouraria, a short walk to public transportation and many restaurants.

Our experience at this centrally located holiday apartment in Lisbon was great. From the outset, Marcello's excellent communication ensured a smooth arrival, and his warm welcome with a bowl of fresh fruit set the tone for our stay.
The apartment itself was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped for our comfort. With were three guests. One slept on the sleep couch in the loving room and two people slept in the bed in the bedroom.
The location couldn't have been better. Situated in the heart of the city, yet nestled in a tranquil area, we were within walking distance of Lisbon's major attractions.
In conclusion, we highly recommend this apartment for anyone seeking a centrally located and well-appointed accommodation in Lisbon!

This apartment is in a great location, within walking distance of the main squares, shopping area, castle and the bohemian Alfama district. There is a great cafe/restaurant literally on the doorstep which did the best breakfast omelettes, and a 30-second walk up the winding road above took us to a street buzzing with fantastic busy little bars. We enjoyed sitting quietly in the window seat of the apartment also, drinking coffee while looking out over the Lisbon rooftops each morning. We like staying in cities close to all the amenities, and this was perfect for us.

Marcello, our host, was absolutely terrific from our first contact. The apartment is located in warm and hospitable area of Lisbon. So many options for dining and relaxing. The apartment has everything we needed and a wonderfully comfortable bed.
I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone considering a visit to Lisbon.

A few days trip to Lisbon was made all the better for being at Marcello's place. A surprisingly good apartment, unusually well equipped, clean, spacious, welcoming and peaceful at night though within easy walking distance to down town liveliness. So glad we chose this place and can thoroughly recommend it as a couple.

This was a great place to stay, close to so many attractions and delicious restaurants right outside the door.
The accommodation was clean, well stocked, comfortable and had a nice view of the city. Marcello was very helpful and prompt to respond to our inquiries. We highly recommend this place.

We had a beautiful stay in Lisboa. The apartment was very clean and Marcello stocked it with a small fruit bowl, enough coffee to get us started the first morning and extra blankets for the cold winter nights. It is very well situated in the old city, close to the attractions, the restaurants but still very quiet. If we ever come back we would stay at Marcello’

Marcello's apartment is beautiful, clean, well furnished, and located in a lovely old neighborhood on a quiet square with no cars. A taxi can drop you a short walk away down a small alleyway, or you can walk just a few minutes up/down 70 steps from/to the Rossio metro stop.
I appreciate that Marcello gave us recommendations for excellent and affordable restaurants in the neighborhood as well as a wonderful small fado house.

The apartment was well appointed and the fresh fruit was much appreciated. Thank you Marcello. As our flight was delayed, we had to locate the address in the dark and that was a bit difficult. I failed to notice that there was no air conditioning, and as it rained much of the time we were there, the rooms got a bit stuffy when the windows were closed. Otherwise everything worked well and we enjoyed our stay. My only suggestion would be to translate the basic washing machine instructions into English, and particularly include cycle times for the various programs.

this was a great property to stay with a short walk to restaurants, attractions and transportation to outlying attractions. The stairs upto the property are significant so take your time - or go up the hill on the road the same as the way to the pingo doce store.

A very nice apartment with everything you need to enjoy time in Lisbon. A big supermarket is down the long set of steps and then around the corner just a short walk.
The taxi driver wasn't too sure where to drop us but we eventually asked someone at tge health centre who pointed us in the right direction.
A very comfortable stay and well priced for Lisbon.

This is the perfect place to stay in Lisbon! The apartment was spotless and in such a convenient location. Everything we needed was there and Marcello’s communication was excellent. It’s in a bustling area but down a quiet street so wasn’t noisy in the evenings. I’d definitely stay here again and would 100% recommend it to anyone staying in Lisbon.

The unit was what it was described to be located in a lovely area. Lisbon is hilly and we knew we would have to deal with stairs but was very doable. The unit is in close proximity to public transit making getting around the city very easy. Overall we were very pleased with this property and would stay there again.

Loved Marcelo’s little gem in a great neighborhood. Walking distance to most places you need to visit in Lisbon.
Communication is ver prompt and was pleasantly welcomed with a bottle of water and bow of fruits. Thanks Marcelo.
The apartment by itself is a little on the smaller side. It’s ideal for 2 people. A little tight for more than 2.
I would highly recommend staying at Marcello’s apartment if you are in Lisbon.

Great place to stay, perfect position and very close to my new favourite place to eat😍

This was a great flat, and a fantastic part of Lisbon. We were so pleasantly surprised when right outside our front door and around the corner was amazing restaurants, bars, and sites of Lisbon. Very close to two metro stops and the start of famous tram 28 as well. The only daunting part is the stairs to get up to the apartment, which should be considered when traveling with luggage. We used the metro to get to the apartment and it was manageable with our carry-on, but with bigger luggage definitely take a taxi or Uber. If we ever return to Lisbon, I will certainly hope to stay here again.

When we started looking for places to stay in Lisbon, this apartment jumped out at us, and we were not disappointed. The location is amazing, with cafés and restaurants on the doorstep, and very close to everything. After staying for a week we really got to know the neighbourhood. Even though our apartment building was right on the square, our apartment was set back in the building and was very quiet. Our host Marcello left a very comprehensive brochure with loads of information which helped make our stay even more comfortable. We felt very much at home.
Only a 5 minute walk from the apartment is a large supermarket Pingo Doce where you can buy everything you need. I have no hesitation in recommending this Airbnb!

Lovely, modern, well appointed apartment.
Convenient local but must be able to walk hills and/or stairs.
Excellent host, very helpful.

We loved the location. Quiet place away from large crowds of Rossio Plaza, though close enough by metro or walking to all sites.

The location in the old district of Mouraria was absolutely delightful. Even the 89 steps from the lower street to get up to the courtyard of our building were no problem for us (ages 75 and 77). Everything important was within walking distance. The condo was small but tastefully decorated, well stocked and very clean. There are fans to drown out occasional Saturday night festivities.
The owner, Marcello, is attentive and available. We loved the whole Lisbon experience and would recommend this condo to anyone who loves to explore interesting neighborhoods and see people of all cultures living in the same area.

A regular drip coffee maker would be nice as you can pick up coffee for it anywhere and it makes more cups of coffee at one time.
