About this house rental

Enjoy front beach views in this 3-bedroom unit- great location- with only the pool and sand dunes separating you from the ocean. The pool in front of the unit belongs to the HOA, and is open during the warmer months (not heated); no lifeguards on duty. The pool opens on April 1st and closes on Nov. 1st. Beach views can be enjoyed from the master balcony and from the living area and screened porch. The pool is just steps away. Well maintained, clean and well stocked, this unit enjoys many repeat renters.

The floors are wood, tile and stone: There is no wall to wall carpet. Three full baths, 3 bedrooms: queen beds upstairs in both bedrooms, a set of twins are in the bedroom on main level), all linens provided except beach towels..

Please note that we have a NO PETS and NON SMOKING policy. The unit is located approximately midway between the reception center at Wild Dunes and the golf course at the end of the island. The beach is wide. This is a townhouse style, with 13 steps into the main floor; there are no elevators. A maximum number of adults: 6. The unit sleeps 6 (two queens) & a set of twin beds on the main level. The sofas are slip covered in white denim, and bedspreads are cotton for easy washing. The unit is not child proofed and we do not provide infant or toddler furniture. That can be rented nearby. Good restaurants are plentiful and a local grocery store on the island is well stocked. Golfing is open to the public and tee times are advised. Tennis is available by booking through Wild Dunes. The pool in front of our unit belongs to our HOA and is available during Spring and Summer.
In order to have access to the fitness center and swim center (Olympic sized heated pool), one must book through Destination Wild Dunes. This applies to all rentals booked through VRBO.
We think you will love the location and proximity to the beach, with a pleasant screen porch and balcony to enjoy the views. *NOTE: Maintenance is ongoing with beachfront properties. Our management company tries to handle this in the fall and winter months, but there are times when that is not possible. Pools must be cleaned, buildings must be painted, parking lots coated, etc. and we will do our best to let renters know when these are taking place, if we are advised.

Our villa was very clean and decorated beautifully. We appreciated the low country artwork and enjoyed the beautiful ocean front views. The screened porch was a perfect location for morning coffee. The bathrooms and kitchen were well stocked. Our beds were comfortable and had plenty of pillows. The host was very attentive and answered any questions. We will plan to return.

We enjoyed our stay, this home is in a great location. We went to Charleston twice. We took walks along the beach, as well as around Wild Dunes. We have been to Charleston several times, and this will be one of our favorite stays. The unit was spacious, and well laid out. Thank you for a lovely week by the ocean.

We definitely enjoyed our stay in Isle of Palms. Mary was quick to respond to any questions we had, great communication. The home was very comfortable for our family, nice size bedrooms, and space for everyone when hanging around. Had The most relaxing week and enjoyed Charleston.

This 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo was perfect for 3 adult couples. It is a 1-2 minute walk from the back screened porch to the beach. Pool was still open and looked great. We had no problems and the host's communication was timely. We would love to return.

This condo unit was unacceptable. The list of problems is too lengthy to include here. The most important issue was black mold. The air vents, bathrooms, bathmats and shower curtains showed black mold. The view was great but the condo was filthy, run down and in need of some serious upgrading.

My two sisters and I had never done a getaway together. The last time we traveled together was with our parents in our teens. The home was exactly as described and was perfect since we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. We needed to discuss upcoming changes in care for our parents and discussing a heavy subject and the location was perfect. The screened porch, the pool, and the beach were ideal. We left feeling connected and totally relaxed. We plan to continue the tradition we started at least once a year.

Perfect vacation spot! Very conveniently located near The pool and the beach. We have a 19 month old baby and it was nice to just walk back for nap times. Listening to the sound of the ocean on the screened porch was amazing any time of the day. Check in and check out process were very easy. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean. A lot of house supplies available. We will book again!

We were so happy with this property. Mary communicated well with us. We enjoyed the pool and close proximity to the beach. The unit was so well stocked with anything we needed. (Although there were beach chairs available, I would bring my own chairs next time. The chairs were not in the best shape.) Overall, we loved the area and the unit. Would absolutely stay here again!!

We have vacationed at Wild Dunes for the past 11 years and this was our favorite property to date. It's charming and pretty, but not stuffy. We felt at home and comfortable. The location cannot be beat, and communication with the owner was excellent. We will be back next summer. Thank you!

My family and I loved staying in this condo. It had more than enough room for 3 adults and 1 teenager. We enjoyed being located so close to the pool and the beach!

We had a very enjoyable time at the isles of palms. This villa was a great place for our family with young kids. They all loved the pool and the beach was close. It was a little tough carrying all of our beach equipment and kids back and forth on the beach, there were stairs over the dunes that doesn’t allow you to pull a wagon all the way there. But we managed fine. The house itself is a little dated but Mary had us well stocked with all necessary items and she was only a text away if we needed something. We took the ride to Charleston almost every day for site seeing or restaurants. It’s a bit of a drive (at least 30 min). It was nice to be out of the way in wild dunes, the beach wasn’t ever crowded, but be prepared to travel if you venture out. Overall, we were very satisfied.

My family from 3-45 years old had a delightful time staying at Mary's house! It is in an ideal location overlooking the pool and with ocean views beyond. The condo is well appointed and offers plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises over the ocean from the large screened in porch. The entire family said they wanted to return to this specific condo our next trip to the beach; which is no small feat considering our 10 hour drive.

We loved staying at Mary’s condo. The location couldn’t have been more perfect for our family (4 kids aged 3-15). Very comfortable beds and living area. So convenient to walk out the back door and right to the pool or down the boardwalk to the beach. The building is older but has been well maintained. We’d love to stay here again!

We loved the property. The views were amazing from the upstairs balcony and the screen porch was our favorite spot to hang in the morning with coffee. The beach was a two minute walk across the dunes. The condo and the property were very clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

We had a lovely time - it’s a great location - lots of things provided for guests! Only issue was the complicated system for all 3 tvs which all seem to work differently. We never could get the one in the downstairs bedroom to work. But that’s a minor issue.

What a great beach vacation. Isle of palms is a beautiful beach. This condo has a beautiful outdoor pool/landscaping (although pool not open in the winter months). Just a beautiful property overall. Mary, the property owner, had excellent communication and planning to make our stay seemless, easy, and enjoyable.
