We had a lovely time. Only stayed 2 nights but would have stayed longer if we knew how nice it was!

This was a lovely little resort, basically a collection of bungalows dotted around an infinity pool, right on the beach. They served lovely pancakes for breakfast as well as eggs, bacon etc, and also lunch and dinner options were delicious. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice with en suite bathrooms, international power sockets, air con, tea and coffee facilities and a fridge.

Fantastic place to stay. I thoroughly recommend.

We loved the pretty beach very quiet and kept clean by the team. Peng the owner really looked after us and was very helpful and all of the staff were friendly. The pool is lovely and usually very quiet. Our bungalow was right on the beach which was lovely and the hammocks a great addition. We really relaxed and did pretty much nothing which was just what we wanted. The food was also great and we especially enjoyed the curries in particular the massaman. 🙏 The food at Aunties on the main road is really excellent too. We went there for lunch most days. We weren’t very impressed with the food at the two other resorts nearby. However it was nice to have a cocktail at the serenity next door.

There was very little we didn’t like about the property the only thing was the beds were hard. A nice thick mattress topper or some foam could solve this though.

We had a great time and will surely go back!!

The property was really good. K. Pen, the hostess was magnificent. She was great, and looked after us throughout the stay. The breakfast we had before travelling back was exceptional. I've travelled a lot and never have I had such pancakes. It was delicious. The villa was comfortable and the staff were very friendly, especially the chef.

The housekeeping could have done a little more in terms of room cleaning. But it was okay. The water in the pool was not very clean and probably could do with a better filtration system. Apart form that, I don't see any other thing that needed attention.

- staff working here, friendly, „home a like” atmosphere; taking care of us and definitely making our stay wonderful; ps greetings to all of you❤️ - delicious food, freshly prepaired for us - wonderful swimming pool with amazing view - chill atmosphere

- if I need to be picky and raise one thing to other visitors - dont expect a wonderful/white sand beach (its not at this side of an island), but still pool is making up for it🤩

Awesome stay, a slice of heaven.

The setting was serene, it is a small resort, only 8 cottages, very nice and quiet and extremely clean. The beds were comfortable. The pool is lovely, and warm, beach front cottage was amazing, hubby loved his time in the hammock right beside the water. The food at the restaurant was exceptional. The owner was very accommodating and helpful, and the staff very friendly. We were able to rent a scooter from the hotel for the same price as in town. We would definitely return.

Not an issue for us this stay as we were fortunate that most guests there were not sun worshippers, but there are only 5 loungers at the pool and 1 on the beach. You should also count on renting a scooter for some of the time while you are there to get to the main part of the island for a visit, cabs are expensive 400 Baht one way.

if you like very quiet 👍🏻

very very quiet place not far from ferry terminal. delux room very nice . serenity hotel next door good bar and rooms cheaper.

not worth the money . not much of a beach wouldn’t swim in the sea . definitely need wheels if you want to go anywhere else as near nothing in walking distance.

Tranquil and comfortable beach setting.

Every aspect of Sunrise Beach is great except we couldn't see the sunrise. We chose this resort for its location. After driving and the ferry, it was the closest. The entire layout has a relaxing feel. The pool-bar combination is beautiful and the bungalows with thatched roofs are comfortable and A/C worked well. The food was delicious and t staff was more than attentive. Plenty of beautiful felines roaming. No mosquitos.

Simple would come again

The location on the beach and view across the channel is wonderful. book the beachfront bungalows. the food is extremely tasty and delicious. the staff and in particular Pen who runs it are helpful and a joy.

The only downside is the quiet wonderful location is balanced by being a distance from any shops etc. But frankly if you want to chill out it’s not a problem.

Everything was perfect. The host pen is the kindest person you can imagine, Her and everyone else who works there are just doing everything possible to make your stay as good as it can be. Truly the best resort I stayed in more than 10 years of traveling to Thailand.

If you are looking for a quiet little resort right on the beach, away from mass tourism, this is the place for you. In the evening to the restaurants, bars and massages in the city you can easily get with the scooter.

Absolutely perfect!

The resort is absolutely stunning and kept up very nicely. The manager and staff are all incredibly nice and were helpful with whatever we needed (food and drinks, what to do, renting a motorbike…) The kitchen/ restaurant wasn’t quite finished when we were there, but you could still have food there with a couple of hours advanced notice, which was no problem at all for us. We had an amazing stay and could not recommend it more.

Very relaxing place. Bungalow right on the beach and tasty food . You can explore busy areas of the island on a scooter and come to peace and quiet. That's exactly what I needed.

Splendid stay!

The staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was tidy and clean, the beach and the pool were amazing and the cost was very reasonable. We only stayed for a short-while but we were made to feel special. I would highly recommend this place.

Stay here at your peril, 9.2 on booking.com is an absolute joke.

nothing, the room was dirty. we had ants everywhere. the door rattled all night. only 2 Sun loungers which had cats on and the pool was dirty. no bar. No tv in the room ask about food and the lady said you can go to the resorts either side we do not do food. the lady sat at the top of the pool and sat and smoke cigarettes. you couldn’t pay me to stay here.

Lovely place

Private beach and kayak for the guests! I love spending time there with my family. Room was comfortable and clean. The owner made sure that i’ve got everything I needed. The cats were friendly as well.

Sublime, calme, un vrai paradis!

The owner is very nice, helpful. The bungalow are perfect, 3 steps from the beach! Perfect 🥰. If you like cats, go! Panda and Tiger will welcome you and help you discover the beach!!!!
