Beautiful old house, very close to Bruges, lovely room, delicious breakfast and welcoming team.
4.0
Friendly staff, the room was nicely furnished, parking in front (although not enough for all guests) , breakfast was enough & very clean.
You hear the people in the room above walking due to the creaking floors.

Brilliant old building with great decor, lovely rooms and excellent breakfast.
Nothing to fault and would recommend this place to anyone near Ghent or Bruges.
4.0
Great parking right outside hotel.
Bus stop outside that goes directly to Bruges train station.
Good for families, we stayed in a good size family room.
Fresh breakfast included in the price.
Friendly and helpful Manager.
None of these issues bothered us, but bare in mind, it’s on a road, so traffic noise and the family room is up 3 flights of steep stairs, so if you have mobility issues, not for you.

Outstanding breakfast- homemade pastries, fleshly baked

The host was really kind and welcoming. A lovely breakfast was served in the conservatory overlooking the garden.
Thanks for everything 😊
Everything was nice

The host goes out of his way to assist, even by sharing his secret parking spot in a town close by! The hotel is decorated in a very charming and welcoming style and has an authentic feeling. The bed and linen are super comfortable, and the breakfast was good. The free parking on the premises and free wifi in the room are very convenient and the location just outside of Bruges is super. This small hotel is a true gem and if we ever have to look for accommodation in this region, this would definitely be our first choice.
There is nothing at all!

Very nice hotel, we stayed at a cosy family room. Joachim and his wife provided us with great and personal service with good advice about restaurants and other things in the neighborhood.

Lovely building and great room, breakfast was superb and owner was so helpful. The lounge bar area was great with the honesty bar - which was superb.
In the room we were in the bathroom was small as was the toilet room but overall a minor issue

Lovely period property, love the character of the rooms. Greeted by the owner not only very helpful but came in early to set out breakfast for us, 5* service. I have stayed in many hotels, too many really, but the sheets on the bed were the best. Cannot fault this hotel well worth a stay.

i was bitten all over my body by bed bugs and when talked to the manager he was claimed I was allergic until I showed him a picture of the bugs I saw.

The room was really big and cozy. The breakfast was delicious. The location of the hotel is great for having a quiet and relaxed stay, since it is at the outskirts of the village. The building itself is really beautiful and it feels like home. There are few really good bistros or brasseries within 5km distance, feel free to ask the host of the hotel for more info. He is friendly and very helpful. The location is also excellent for romantic walks throughout Brugge, which is only 9km distance. Highly suggested to taste waffles and chocolate. The center of Brugge is really beautiful even during fall or winter time. There are a lot of historical buildings spread throughout the city for lovers of history and Gent is close by (less than 1 hour distance by car), where more historical buildings can be found. So be prepared for long, beautiful walks!
Since the building is old, but beautiful, with wooden floors, there is a chance to hear people walking around even if their steps are light and careful. For travelers without a car or not willing to use a bicycle it is not easy to access a lot around. There is a bus line outside the hotel though that goes from Gent to Brugge, but for more info it is better to ask before book.

A very nice boutique hotel, with kind and helpful personnel, but rather small rooms. The breakfast was very good and we had a great stay. The parking just in front is an extra feature.

+ gorgeous building, very charming set up, friendly staff and impeccable cleaning. Excellent croissants at the breakfast buffet.
outdated sanitary facilities, everything was cracking and rattling, which definately had its charm if romanticized.
Tiny parking (8-10 slots)
Doorlock and check-in are unusual because of the lack of a receptionist. You ring the doorbell and wait in the hallway.
Sparce and cold breakfast bouffet. Everything that was there was enjoyable however.

Location, parking, clean
Limited breakfast, some interior needs attention!

Atmosphere, friendly staff, good breakfast, no standard buffet and nice cosy bar
