This hotel was very beautiful. I loved that they sent someone everyday to clean it. Also loved that it was like a little apartment, with a washer/dryer, full kitchen and wifi. It was such a peaceful stay and everything felt so close by. No more than 10-12 minutes from Grace bay. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for an affordable stay at Turks.

The room was spectacular and the bed was so comfortable! I enjoyed my stay and appreciate that the unit had a washer and dryer in it. The breakfast was good. The staff I encountered were pleasant. I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again if I come back to the island.
I didn't like that there was no map of the facilities. I never saw the swimming pool because it was not in my building and I wasn't sure how to find it. However, I did go to the beach on site and that was a wonderful experience! I also would have appreciated papertowels and dish detergent.

I stayed one night before catching an early flight the next day. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. A few restaurants are in walking distance.
$200 usd deposit for a one-night stay seems excessive, the AC was extremely loud, I had to request pillowcases, which were delivered in a few minutes.

It’s very difficult to find a not-overpriced hotel on the Turks. This establishment comes with specious and clean rooms (including kitchen, so one has not to spend so much money in restaurants)… relatively close to a huge supermarket and very close to the (great) beach… you even can rent bikes nearby.
I found the people in general not so welcoming and nice, and this property is no exception.
Travelled around the would, the Turks are not worth the price.

Shamile and Rhonda were wonderful!

The property was close to a lot of restaurants, shopping and airport.
where do I began!? we paid way too much money and a deposit! for our room to not be clean. I paid over 2,000, but that what you get when you travel during the Christmas season. be that as it may they knew we were paying too much and still we had a dirty room. the floors were dirty, the cabinet in the bathroom had stains going down the front. inside the shower had dirty grime in the corners. I had to wear my flip flops just the take a shower. the fridge looked as if it were cleaned with a dirty grease rag. I don’t think they know how to clean stainless steel. we had a microwave that didn’t work, we had a toaster that didn’t work. I think they were there just for show. when we arrived there was dirty garbage outside of our door like it was just taken out. garbage that had pads and tampons in it. I’m a woman but I still don’t want to see that. there was a big bug that was dead on the floor. then they had the nerve ti ask for $200 for a deposit if damage happened, lol. I read in previous reviews that someone took home bed bugs which I was nervous about. I did get bitten a lot and just had a new bite on me two days after being home. ONLY book this place as a last resort, BUT buy cleaning supply at the grocery store!! also, but food because it’s easy to spend $100 at restaurants. I tried to nice a courteous of the man taking my bag and showing me to my room but he just looked at me like he didn’t want to do that.

pool was kinda cool
my room felt like a dungeon

Pool area was nice and had a good view of the ocean. Easy walking to Turtle Cove restaurants that were quite good. Not on the beach but close enough to walk to (8 minute walk). This area of beach is good for snorkeling and practically private in November.
Garden view was really a driveway. Not on the beach but knew this when we booked.

Great views and amenities

I have so much to say in defense of Hotel Vista Azul - first off - I read the reviews and for all that left bad reviews I know the reason you booked this hotel in the first place is because it is SO MUCH CHEAPER THAN ANY OTHER HOTEL ANY WHERE NEAR GRACE BAY! So a lot of the comments I dont believe to be fair because it is like HALF the price. The rooms are beautiful and spacious and have full kitchens - the balcony is incredible and the pools are so fun. This is not a typical hotel - it has more of a Villa vibe so you will not have all the amenities that you want but that's ok! The staff will still get you whatever you need and are so so so so helpful! Moesha made my visit so nice - I traveled alone and she helped me book all my tours, gave me numbers for cabs, offered me everything I needed from a replacement coffee maker to a wine bottle opener. My real feeling about this place are MANAGE YOUR EXPECTATIONS - no its is not RIGHT on the beach - you do have to walk a few minutes - you do need to take a cab to Grace Bay where the shops are -but you are not paying $800 a night - its so much cheaper and I think in ways better because I had to explore a little and figure out things for myself - there are at least 4 great restaurants right by, a grocery store in less than a mile, and all the tours will pick you up at no cost. PLEASE DONT WORRY ABOUT THE NOT AS GOOD REVIEWS! Too many stairs? Thats crazy - its gorgeous and part of the architecture!
I do think that they make Grace Bay seem closer than it is - it is an hour and a half walk which was so fun or a cab ride that will cost you like $18 a person - so if you MUST be right on Grace Bay, then this is not it - but Grace Bay isn't everything! Its busier, and you will not find a full apartment studio for this price - I looked and it doesn't exist to Hotel Vista Azul is charming and great.

comfortable and clean rooms - good service

Room is Huge! Clean, comfortable and affordable. Plenty of towels and wash cloths, kitchen comes with everything you need, washer/dryer is a plus. Balcony is huge with a great view. Gym on site.
No elevator, those steps are torture. No ice machine, no vending machine. No breakfast. Restaurant on site serves lunch and dinner...food is so-so and expensive.

The place is beautiful but NO ELEVATORS!!! Had to carry all our heavy luggage up four flights of stairs. Pools were amazing. Patios exceptional. Ice cream shop didn't open all wknd til we left tues afternoon.
No elevators and no coffee supplied for rooms

- property was convenient and in a good location
- for Turks it was good value
Simone’s restaurant and nightlife was excellent
No ELEVATOR
Flying in with large 50 lbs suitcases carrying them up 3 flights was miserable. at least the steps were 6” high for easier steps! otherwise it was ok.

The concierge was very nice and they met our requests
The room was not extensively cleaned prior to our arrival and we had to request deep cleaning. It seems like the concierge staff is receptive and polite but the cleaning staff needs more training.
3.5
room size and comfortable bed nice patio terrace
no complimentary coffee in the room...not enough dining and refreshment options.

Beautiful views from the balconies and rooftops. Close proximity to restaurants. Housekeeping was timely, staff was kind, everyone was welcoming.
Room had a slight odor but nothing that airing out the room couldn't solve. Water didn't get hot and only warm but once communicated the staff was all over it.

we liked the view, the 2 pools and hot tub.
the room was spacious and the balcony was nice
we had a full size bed which was too small, there was no dresser to put your clothes, there was SO MANYYYYY STEPS TO GET TO YOUR ROOM. like 10 staircases to go up to get to your room. it felt like a workout everytime.
there was suppose to be breakfast downstairs open by 8 am, the lady wouldn't show up until about 9, 9:30 some days.

I stayed at this property previously that is one of the reasons why I wanted to return. However the property is going down. the cleaning crew did not care about the overall cleanliness
what I did not like is the fact that my first night on arrival I went to sleep and woke up with bite marks all over my lower extremities. as I done with the person I. the office they did not care about the bite marks and was very insensitive and lack care. I practically had to beg to change rooms . it was bed bugs big time and they tried to say that I was bitten by mosquitoes. it practically ruined my entire stay .

nice restaurant next door Simone’s! she was lovely and friendly
staff are rude and unfriendly! requested about postage for a letter and she rudely said that’s what a post office is for… why is everyone so rude? you can say things nicer to guests! treat your guests with more respect! one time I requested for an office space as it took till 2pm to get our rooms cleaned. she rudely made a face and said this is the only space for me to work. AGAIN! she could have said it to me in a nicer manner

Superb shower
The bathroom door and the main door to the room look like they’ve suffered water damage. The doors had to be pushed quite hard to open and close.

large rooms, beautiful rooms
lots of stairs

It’s been a month since I stayed here and I still haven’t had my $200 security deposit refunded. Staff incredibly unhelpful when I call and just say it’s with their bank. Completely not acceptable, the first time I called they hadn’t even began processing the refund. Budget this into your costs as I doubt I’ll ever get it back!

The hotel is located in a safe area with several popular restaurants nearby and very close to a beautiful beach.

Room was clean and new
Reception staff wasn't really friendly. I saw I bothered her (rolling eyes) when I had questions. Which I had a few as I didn't know the area and didn't get a lot of Infos at check in.
Was charged for the room before I even arrived and then the hotel holds the same amount for incidentals, but there is no mini bar no restaurant. Found that very strange
