What an awesome location! Just steps from the Plaka District with a view of the Acropolis from the patio, yet just far enough from the tourist rat trap areas with a great local feel. The washing machine was a god save especially since we were there in the blistering summer. The host was very communicative and responsive. We would recommend you book travel to the flat through him as the taxi driver walked us up to the flat to explain the hidden details to us. Would have given this 5 stars if not for the very firm and admittedly uncomfortable bed.
We found some great local restaurants that are a must for price, taste, and proximity to the flat.
Kalamaki Bar, Drakou 15, Athina 117 42, Greece. Ridiculous prices for the serving sizes. Hands down the best skewers for the price!
Skoumbri, Drakou 14, Athina 117 42, Greece. Everything is delicious but our favs were the marinated anchovies, grilled sardines, and the fried smelt!
Guarantee, Veikou 41, Athina 117 42, Greece. We call this place the sandwich Guy. Hands down the best sandwiches ever and for only 4-6 euros! And it’s right across the street from the flat.

Efi's place was literally home away from home. The appartment was beautiful, clean and spacious We had everything we needed for our stay in Athens. Her appartment was so perfectly located. Grocery store is literally around the corner with everything you need and the most incredible restaurants within minutes by foot.
We were 15 minutes from the Acropolis by foot. We walked everywhere......Plaka, Monastiraki Syntagma Square. You didn't feel it. Efi was always responsive and helpful if we had questions during our stay. She helped us with transport from the airport to the appartment and then from the appartment to our hotel in Marathon. Check-in was easy and we were given highlighted places to visit, eat, emergency contact information just in case. I definitely recommend her appartment. Thank you Efi for making our stay in Athens so memorable. I will definetely contact on our next trip to

Owner coordinated with Taxi Driver to assist with pickup at the airport and assist with the transition for keys and showing of the unit. Great Service by Spiro the Taxi Driver.

It's a cute looking apartment. And a great location, very close to the acropolis entrance and many grocery stores and laundry and shops.
Wasn't expecting that you have to use a key card to turn on the whole power to the apartment, and the card key is attached to the apartment keys. And this also causes the oven to reset every time and there were no instructions left or even listed upon arrival/check-in on how to reset the oven. And it took the host 4 days to send someone to look at the oven after none of the instructions she provided over text didn't work. And she lived one floor above... but before actually getting to the apartment, the host was very responsive to messages.
I wouldn't call the apartment a luxury one, since many things weren't in great shape. Not quite the place I was expecting for the price. But for wanting something thats convenient for location and something simple, then it works. And there are two AC units, one in the living room and one in the bedroom.

Fantastic 1 bedroom apartment in Athens that is close to Acropolis, Plaka, and all the great restaurants and bars.
Would highly recommend, and would stay there again!

The apartment is in a great location! The pictures look great, but the apartment itself is a little run down comparing to the pictures. We had a problem with the transportation offered.
We were offered transportation from the airport to the hotel. Before accepting, we mentioned that we had 4 large suitcases, and we were received the following message: “My driver has a station wagon that can fit up to 6 large suitcases.”
When we saw the car (not a wagon as promised), we knew it wouldn’t fit. My wife said that we were going to get another car, he affirmed he would make it fit, and we had an obligation with him. We totally disagreed because we had an obligation with a wagon driver. He didn’t have a sharp English, so we decided to not argue. The driver complained several times about the luggage which is definitely not his business. Then, when he dropped us off, he mandated to receive 10 Euros for the baggage. We told him it was agreed with you about the luggage, car size and payment of 45 Euros. Then, we brought up the situation to the apartment owner, and the driver said we had more luggage which was untrue (he counted my daughter and wife’s handbags as a luggage). The owner said she would get back to us, and never heard from her.
When we left the apartment, we got a wagon to the cruise port which fits everything.
We are mentioned it because the situation made us really uncomfortable. We don’t appreciate dishonest and incorrect people!

Loved our stay in this very modern open apartment in ancient Athens. Kitchenette and eating area were small but were adequate. Living room was larger and lead to balcony with small table and two chairs and drying rack. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and enjoying the atmosphere of busy Athens. Apartment is located in area with lots of eating places and shopping nearby. It is located 3-4 blocks from the Acropolis Museum and walking distance of the Plaka area. The bedroom was a good size but lacked drawer or shelf space to place your clothes and no place to have your open suitcase except on the floor. A couple of luggage racks would have been nice. Bed was low but slept good. Air conditioners (2) worked well. The elevator was also great to have. One of the nicest parts of our stay in this apartment was our association with Spyros who picked us up from the airport that was arranged by Efi (the owner). Spyros was a life saver for us. Although, we had some things prearranged, he arranged an Aegina Island tour with private taxi to sites on the island, took us Corinth, and provided transportation to and from the port for our island tour and back to the airport. He was also available for issues with the apartment. Would definitely stay here again

The apartment is everything the photos show. Spacious and great floor plan. Located near attractions and a short 3 block walk to main metro line and tram system. Efi the owner was very accommodating and helpful in arranging airport pick up. Would highly recommend this place for your stay in Athens.
4.8
Efi"s property was clean, well-decorated, and conveniently close to the city center. The car transfer from the airport was a bonus!
I will reach out to stay here again if I get back to Athens.

Everything was arranged in advance. I was picked up at the airport and driven to the apartment where everything was explained by Spyros the taxi driver. The location was minutes walking distance to the acropolis, restaurants and museums. There was a supermarket around the corner from the apartment. The apartment was neat and had all the necessary amenities. Once I needed to drive to the cruise ship I was picked up by the same taxi driver.
5 star for me.

We were visiting Athens and attending the marathon and could walk to most major sites around the Acropolis. Metro and trams were also convenient for getting around. Local restaurants were great and less touristy than those around the Acropolis. A great place to be for 5 days
4.8
Well positioned just out of Plaka and within walking distance to all sights. Apartment is comfortable and well equipped, though the shower could do with a screen!

The apartment was in a great location and was clean and adequately supplied with towels.

Wonderful neighborhood

The apartment is in a great location and 15-30 minutes walk time to most tourists destinations. There was little to no communication between us and the owner rather all communication/instructions was done through the taxi driver. The apartment definitely needs some work. The cleaning crew did clean but there was hair and crumbs all over the floor and sink, there is a very big crack inside the door from the lift , aka elevator. The bathroom shower /tub does not have a shower head rather a wand with no curtains or doors on the tub so water literally goes everywhere so you are forced to face the window in the shower. The cabinet to the washing machine has been water soaked because of this, is broken and needs to be replaced. There is a shelf in the bedroom that was only being held up by a glass bottle which I didn't realize so I moved the bottle and it fell. There are two outlets in the bedroom that need to be replaced in a bad way. One that controls the lights has an electric pop when you touch and seems to be a big hazard. The AC has two controllers but one works and controls both units. We loved the area but again the apartment is tired and needs work.

Firstly I would like to thank Efi for providing great communication and help with transportation from cruise terminal and to airport. On the property itself... the lounge area and bedroom are nice but the bathroom could do with a refresh.
Nice little balcony to have a coffee. But the walls & windows up the stairs to the apartment are literally falling apart.
Not the owners fault but we were woken every morning at 7.30am by drilling and hammering from construction by apartment.
Kitchen had most things you'd need if cooking for yourself and washing machine was perfect for us to clean clothes after cruise.
TV limited channels in English, but we were not there to watch TV.
Good restaurants and bars in near vicinity.
The taxi driver Spiros who Efi sorted for us was absolutely exceptional.
Thank you Spiros.

This place is perfect! From the pre-arrival communication with the property owner Efi to her setting up pick-up at the airport with Spiros and all the information on area provided by him on the incredible bakery (Takis), grocery market and other variety stores within feet of the place. Also, how close you are to all the site seeing areas and great dinner options. The Acropolis, Temple of Zeus are all less than a 10 minute walk. We had dinner on-top of the Central Hotel and the view of the Acropolis at night was breathtaking. Recommendation - best roof-top restaurants make a reservation at least 1 day in advance. Thanks Efi and Spiros!

Apartment in a perfect location, within walking distance of the city sights. Only comment was that the apartment although clean was littered with loose black long hairs on many of the surfaces and linen (I have short red hair, as does the other guest). We had to hoover the apartment on arrival.
4.8
Nice and well located property with many facilities around such as restaurants, chemists, supermarkets... I recommend this property to anyone who wants have great time in Athens.

Beautiful interior, loved the balcony! Nice location (easy walk to grocery, bakery, restaurants and Acropolis). Friendly checkin process. Thank you!

Had a lovely time in Athens, great apartment!
Weather was soo hot but the air con kept us refreshed while back in the apartment! Definitely recommend for location, easy to walk to everywhere in the city. Some lovely little restaurants and bars near by of the beaten tracks but also some fab roof top bars near by to watch the sunset with a cocktail.
4.8
This property was very nice, clean, and in a great location to everything in Athens, Greece. We could walk a short 15-20 minutes and be in the center of Athens. Perfect place for two to enjoy their peace and quite get away in Athens! Love this place.
4.8
great location, great communication with host

The property was in a good location to walk to many sites if you are willing to walk a mile or so. The shower was a bit interesting with no curtain, it was hard to not get the bathroom wet. Overall it was a great place to stay.

great location, great communication with host

All stars for this Athens apt. Modern crisp well appointed in the heart of vibey neighborhood central to historic sites, museums, food, cafes. Enjoyed so much access in the neighborhood. Also a good quality bed. Host Efi great with arrangements and advice. Transfer from airport a breeze. Thank you!
4.8
Efi was great about communicating with us and her colleague, Spiros, who picked us up from the airport was very friendly and had plenty of suggestions on what to do/where to eat. I would highly recommend staying here!
4.8
Very clean, great location, easy to communicate with Efi, and they arrange a driver who was amazing gentleman and help us with everything.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Acropolis apartment in early June 2023. The transfer from airport was arranged and went seamlessly. The area is an easy walk to Acropolis and museum and many other wonderful Athens attractions. There are many very good restaurants which are also easily walkable. The apartment has wonderful a/c units and is very clean and bright. The apartment has a small elevator which we sometimes used but stairs are definitely doable as well. The bed is comfortable and Spyros did an excellent job in acquainting us with the apartment and had great suggestions for restaurant choices. The only issue is the shower is difficult to use and to keep water off the bathroom floor as there is no door or curtain for the shower. There is a full size fridge for drinks etc. The outside area is small and narrow but functional and does have a view of Acropolis. Staying in this area of Athens immerses oneself into Greek living and the feel is quaint and feels completely safe. The supermarket is half a block away and carries whatever is needed. I would definitely come back to stay at the Acropolis luxurious designed apartment on future visits to Athens.

Great location, easy access to transportation, helpful owner, cute apartment. Thumbs up!

Blocks from the Parthenon and the great Plaka neighborhood. Bakery, grocery, and restaurants within a block. Very comfortable apartment, clean and cozy with good amenities.
4.8
Wonderful apartment extremely clean, and the management work above and beyond
Vicki is the best thing this management company has she constantly called me to make sure everything was OK and then I was having a good time
4.8
The apartment was very clean and well appointed. It is in an older neighborhood in Athens; it was easy to get around, people were very welcoming and friendly, enjoyed the small coffee shops on the block. Easy walking distance to Acropolis.
4.8
Everything was close- sights, restaurants - was a great place. Pick up and delivery to the airport was also very good!
4.8
This is an excellent place to stay because it gives the vibe of being both a tourist and a local. My family and I were able to visit all of the historic sites by walking and also got to see how the locals spent their time around the neighborhood. The apartment was well kept, but the it looked smaller in person than what the pictures made it look to be. The owner had many household products like a washing machine, detergent, mops, iron, plates, utensils, pans, and pots.
4.8
This apartment is better suited for single or couple occupancy, as there isn't much space for additional people., as the lounge becomes the extra beds. The kitchen is tiny and not really usable, the kettle leaked a little from a small crack. The freezer was very iced up, and a part filled jug of water in the fridge, didn't make it appear cleaned. Lots of bags and unnecessary clutter in the cupboards and wardrobe ... none of it folded nicely either, so it kind of felt like it was unloved. The shower tap in the bathroom is at waist height, and with no shower screen, you have to kneel down to shower, otherwise the water will go everywhere. The big window in the bath/shower area has a blind, which also gets wet when you shower, which is unavoidable, unless you just bath instead. The little plastic dining table which is attached to the wall had 2 basic plastic chairs, so we had to bring in another plastic chair from outside, to be able to sit together, and there really wasn't anywhere else we could sit together. The bedroom was a nice size, and the bed was comfortable. The apartment building has graffiti on it, and it doesn't look very inviting from the outside. Efi was quick in her responses, but did annoy me when she informed me on arrival day, that as I wasn't arriving between 2-4pm which is the check in time, I would have to wait until 6.30pm to get checked in, which would ordinarily incur a late arrival fee, that she would, however, waive in this instance. I had originally given Efi an arrival time of 5-6pm and a late arrival fee had never been mentioned until the day of check in. Someone did arrive earlier to let us in though, after my terse email. I had also asked Efi if there was a left luggage close by to the apartment, as we wanted to store our suitcases whilst in Santorini, and before checking into Efi's apartment, and Efi said she didn't know of one. There is one on the same street, about 200m away. My husband and I run an accommodation business in Australia, and we consider our cottages to be at the more luxurious end of the market, and this apartment is definitely not. To be fair, the apartment is also not very expensive, so you are getting an okay place to stay in, which was quiet at night, and close to the tourist hub, but situated just outside of the more expensive tourist strip of the Acropolis, in which you can enjoy the many sights that Athens has to offer.

We stayed at the apartment in Athens this past week. Everything was just as advertised. The apartment is very close to the Acropolis and museum. There are several places to eat and get groceries very close to the apartment. The apartment was the perfect size for 2 adults and our teenage daughter. Spiros was amazing. He picked us up at the airport and was full of good information for us to utilize during our stay. He arranged for a guide to take us around the island of Aegina for one day. I would recommend this apartment.
4.8
Spyros provided a personal taxi ride from the airport to the apartment and provided keys and elevator instructions; and the remote heater controls as well. It took 2 days to find out how to get hot water (turn on the switch in the breaker box, wait 30 minutes, and turn it off)! It was abnormally cold all week, with snow showers and ice that served to close the outdoor historic sites. The apartment is in the Koukaki neighborhood, within easy walking distance of the Acropolis, Acropolis Museum and two Metro stations. A food market is right around the corner and there are numerous small restaurants just out the door. There was a washing machine (no dryer), but I didn't use it as all the instructions were in Greek! Same for the oven. Overall, I recommend this apartment to any single person or couple.
4.8
The property is in right in the middle of the city and very close to the Acropolis. The apartment itself is spacious and well-lit with all essential amenities. The heating works well for us as we went in the winter. The host is also very accommodating as she extended our stay for a day on short notice after we missed a ferry, Overall I would recommend this apartment to anybody looking to find a nice place to stay in the heart of Athens.
4.8
Efi is a fantastic host! Everything went smoothly. The apartment is right down the hill from the Acropolis, minutes from everything you’ll need. The people are friendly and the food is outstanding. Perfect for two people. Thanks for hosting us!
