The property was extremely well equipped with modern facilities and a fantastic private terrace with great views and spectacular sunshine from dawn until dusk. Minor criticisms, within the owners control, extend only to a slight discomfort with the mattress (admittedly for our own liking) and the WHITE lounge seating which had marks from previous occupancy (understandable given the colour). Criticiscms, outwith the owners control, occurred on two occasions when the water supply was lost. The first resulted in the toilet sink font spraying water uncontrollably when the supply was reinstated. This may be because of a minerals build up in the tap filter. This should be checked regularly and confirmed to be clean. If we were asked to recommend this property or would we return in the future the answer on both occasions would be an unequivable YES.

Wonderful penthouse, with fantastic views all around, fabulous terrace, kitchen and bathroom have had a lovely upgrade since we last stayed there. Highly recommended

Juste vous assurer davoir le numéro du code de la boîte à la porte pour récupérer les clés de lappartement. De gentilles personnes demeurant sur le site ont réussi à nous obtenir le code afin que lon puisse entrer. Une bouteille de champagne, du fromage et du pain nous attendaient ... quelle belle attention très appréciée surtout après plusieurs heures de vol ! Merci aux hôtes... une belle famille quon aurait aimé rencontrer !

This villa has the best views both inside and outside, the outside terrace is large and well equipped. Very quiet air conditioning the lounge is very comfortable with a good selection of tv channels. All kitchen appliances work very well and you have enough utensils , crockery and glasses for every situation. I highly recommend staying here.

Lovely holiday in a fabulous location. Only problem was all the steps to the apartment and to the pool. I’ve recently had a hip operation and the steps caused me some issues. The view was amazing and Nerja, as a resort, has everything.

This apartment is beautiful and the owner is very easy to communicate with and helpful. We so enjoyed our stay with an almost immediate agreement that there was no doubt we would stay again. The views are amazing, outside space is beautiful and the owner has thought of almost everything - any criticism please understand comes from people who will stay again. Nerja itself is a lovely place - we found most of the restaurants and bars so friendly and a nice vibe to the place. Two supermarkets close by - a hilly area which didn't bother us, also taxi prices are good and the drivers we met also super.

Overall we were happy with our stay at this apartment. Location was good but definitely felt we needed the car to get to the beach , especially carrying towels and other items. It can be done in a walk but because it’s a bit hilly i think a good 25 mins plus to get down there and maybe a little more uphill back to the apartment. The apartment was well equipped and catered for all our needs . Excellent views overlooking hills on one side and sea views on the other. We felt the decor could do with a little TLC but sure there is a maintenance program for this . Overall like I said we were very happy with the apartment and would definitely recommend to our friends .

Would have given no stars. On our arrival we were told by our cleaner who owned the property directly under the property (number 20) that he was about to undertake repair work that had been planned for some time! .We awoke on our first Hell morning at 8am to a Kango /hammer drill that was being used to take up the tiled patio directly outside the large unglazed widow. We could not get a straight answer as to how long this was going to go on for, it lasted a couple of days to be replaced by hammering/tile cutting/angle grinding etc until the last day of our holiday. We had intended to just chill in the property for the week which was impossible, resulting in us going out between 8am-4pm all week. The owners must have been aware this work was to happen and should never have rented the property to us. The only response we had from the owners was "apologies" and that "it was allowed/agreed in the area that any work can be carried out between beginning of November until June".We will never go on holiday out of season in this area.Its a vital consideration that unless one likes either the distant hum of kangos or the risk of a Kango being used as though its in the same room as yourselves or you are deaf and suffer from tremors. We will never rent a property again that is in such a complex as numerous properties (all attached) leads to a lot of other potential noise disturbance. Several other terraces(luckily with quite neighbours) were overlooked by ourselves but one could hear every word from the kitchen lounge as no double glazing exists on the front of the property. Being at the top of the complex (penthouse) as an asthmatic the air quality from a couple of chimneys and bonfires were a further annoyance (smoke rises!). We had no wind and the weather was nice, i walked around in shorts and t shirt, whilst the locals where in body warmers! Luckily a lot of other chimneys were inactive,( really glad the weather was not cold!). Was intending to swim in the sea but was but off by other Brits who had seen various sitings! Really good supermarket down the road , good bus service. Good opportunity at this time of year to witness interesting spanish building techniques all over the area. I am sure Kango man was following us around at times.

Stayed one week with perfect weather and fantastic view over mountain and the see. Good equipment in the apartment and very clean. We will be back!!! Maria

We loved the apartment and had a fantastic holiday in Nerja!!! The property was spacious,clean, well maintained and had everything we needed. Loved the private terrace and the views of the sea and mountains. Brilliant sunsets! Enjoyed cooking outdoors on the BBQ and eating alfresco. Great location, could walk into town and a taxi back was only 8 euros. Plenty of local beaches, which were only a short drive away. Great communication with Michael, the owner who responded promptly to any queries we had. Wished we had stayed for longer, thoroughly recommended!!!

Great penthouse apartment with fantastic views and a balcony that’s not overlooked. Bus stop nearby which takes you into the centre for 1€ each, 15 min walk to beach via goat path at the side of the water viaduct, takes a bit longer on the walk back. Great tapas bars. We’ve stayed in a few penthouse apartments but this has been the best one so far. Diane and Stuart

Had a wonderful relaxing holiday in this lovely apartment. Arrived to find a great welcome pack which we enjoyed straight away on the beautiful totally private terrace. The views were fantastic and we only ate out 6 times in our 17 night stay because the terrace and facilities were so good. The apartment was stocked with most things you have at home and there is a new well stocked and very reasonably priced supermarket within an easy 10 minute walk. Decent Cava 2 euros !! Capistrano is a beautiful peaceful well maintained complex . The pool was a good size and very clean . There is a local restaurant next to the complex and a bar in the nearby hotel with a daily Happy Hour if you don’t want to go into the main town . Thanks for letting us use this lovely apartment.

Stayed in this wonderful home from home apartment last week. The views are even better than the photos! The terrace is totally private. The apartment was spotlessly clean, bright and airy. The lovely welcome pack was very much appreciated. Comfortable furnishings. Oasis del Capistrano has wonderful gardens. We didn't use the pools so unable to comment. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment and we hope to return next year.

The nicely furnished 2 bedroom apartment have everything you can wish for for a relaxing vacation in sunny Nerja, Costa Del Sol. It is fresh and elegant, well equipped and furnished. The terrace with it's breathtaking view is adding that special feeling you want for your memorable days away from home. The nice welcoming package when we arrived made you feel specially welcomed. The service from the owner when booking was very helpful and added great value to our planning. We will make sure to make a new booking in this fantastic apartement. The only drawback was that we had to leave too early.

Everything about the Penthouse is wonderful. We have just returned from a weeks stay at the apartment and thoroughly enjoyed out trip. We had everything we could possibly need to make our stay comfortable. The apartment was light and airy and beautifully spacious. The terrace was definitely the place to be! In fact, we loved looking at the evening views so much that we couldn't tear ourselves away from it to go out for dinner. The new supermarket was so well stocked and just up the road that we cooked for ourselves every night. The addition of a superb bottle of Spanish rosé went down extremely well too. There was plenty to do around the area and certainly more things to do and see on our return. We would definitely recommend the Penthouse and hope to visit again in the future. Thank you to the Andersson family for opening up your beautiful little pad.

We have recently returned from a two weeks' stay at the Penthouse. It is located in an elevated position on the well-maintained Oasis de Capistrano complex, with the most magnificent views of the sea, and inland towards the mountains. The apartment is spacious, light, bright and airy with all home comfort, extremely well-furnished and with a very well-equipped kitchen. The large, private terrace is the perfect spot for outdoor living, with pretty potted plants, solar lighting, comfortable sun loungers and a large table, chairs and parasol for dining all fresco. We can't wait to return again and would thoroughly recommend this property.

Had a week stay in August, really enjoyed the apartment and area. Jill the owner was a pleasure to deal with as were bob and debs who look after the property , we arrived early and bob and debs were just finish getting the apartment ready for our stay, they showed us around the village pointing out the pool areas and were very informative regarding restaurants etc in nerja. As I do a lot of driving at home we didn't want to rely on a car for supermarket trips etc. The supermarket is close enough to manage a couple of bags each, by the supermarket there is a drinks bar that also does a very nice pizza and a couple of restaurants. You can go down to the burriana beach were there is plenty of restaurants along the front, you can also walk this way into nerja itself.

The penthouse apartment is totally private with a good sized terrace providing all round views of the sea and mountains. The complex is very pretty and well maintained with plenty of on street parking. The pool and on site facilities are only a few minutes walk away. The apartment itself is spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need - a real home from home! The Sky Sports was a definite added bonus. The bed was especially comfortable and the views fantastic. The patio sun loungers have seen better days but apart from that everything was great! The flat walk into Nerja is about 20 minutes but there is a bus service less than a couple of minutes walk from the apartment. A real bonus of this apartment is the fact that it is right at the top of the development, meaning great views and good accessibility. Mercadona supermarket is really close and very well stocked with good quality produce. Overall, we had a great stay and would highly recommend!

We’ve just come back from a week in the penthouse. We have rented villas with 10 years and occasionally arrive to find some generous description or photography, this is not the case here. If anything the photographs or description do not do it justice. The apartment has absolutely everything you could ever need in your own home. The terrace has all day sun and is not overlooked from anywhere. We had a car as it’s handy to stock up on heavy items in Eroski if you’re driving from the airport. There is a Mercadona not five minute’s walk that has everything you could ever need so you could do without a car having found this. Its twenty minutes into the centre of activity, get a taxi home for five euro as there can be a lot of uphill on the way home. You don’t realise on the way in that’s it’s all downhill. It’s just heaven to sit on the terrace at eight or nine on the evening as the skies and sunsets are brilliant. The owner was a pleasure to deal with from the first enquiry. There’s no point in saying any more really, if you want a beautiful, well equipped apartment with fantastic sun and views that is totally private and not far away from all the activity you ever need then this is the one. It’s fantastic and one we will return to.

My husband and I have just returned from a weeks stay at the Penthouse. Having previously been touring other parts of Southern Spain we were ready for a relaxing 'chill out' week and the penthouse certainly ticked all the boxes! On arrival we were greeted by the most awesome views of stunning mountain scenery, beautiful farmland and sea views! The penthouse has a large patio with beautiful plants, ample comfortable sunbathing space and facilities for outdoor dining. Inside the penthouse (which is spacious and light) the large picture window continues to provide stunning views and the kitchen has every mod con including an ice maker (essential in 37 degree heat!!!) Having previously stayed in a number of other properties on Oasis Capistrano we can honestly say that this property has been the most outstanding, the views, (the owners even provide binoculars so that you can keep an eye on the ever changing scenery!!) and excellent facilities make this Penthouse a fantastic choice for a relaxing holiday within a stones throw from Nerja. We will return!

My husband and I have just returned from an 11 night stay at the Penthouse in Oasis de Capistrano. We would thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday. Beautiful setting with fabulous views of the sea, and also to the mountains from the panoramic patio where the sun shines from dawn til dusk. Fully equipped apartment with washing machine and dishwasher, luxury bathroom and shower. The owners offer use of beach umbrellas, towels and deck chairs which was great for going down to the beach and not having to purchase them ourselves. There are also 2 comfortable sunbeds on the patio also with use of towels. The apartment is situated in a good location for Burriana Beach. A short drive by car. Plenty of supermarkets closeby and Nerja town centre a short drive away. Lovely bedroom with cool breeze coming through the window when hot and very comfortable bed with duvet and pillows. Plenty of cupboard space with lots of hangars. Very well equipped kitchen with oven, hob,microwave, coffee machine and fridge with filtered water and ice making machine. We would thoroughly recommend this apartment for a tranquil and relaxing holiday. We certainly look forward to returning there again in the future.
