About this house rental
This villa is located in the historical centre of Praiano, in the Amalf Coast, a beautiful seaside resort, only 4 km from Positano.
It has an amazing panoramic position with a wide view of the sea and of the coast which surrounds the characteristic village of Praiano.
This villa is the right choice for people who are looking for a vacation of tranquillity and are charmed by art as inside the house can be still admired the singular decorations and stuccoes of the last century.
Praiano is in the heart of the Amalfi Coast and this tract of coast is covered by the green of olive trees, broken here and there by the white roofs of the houses, by the ancient church and the panoramic small square.
The pebble beach la Praia offers many typical restaurants, boat hiring and diving classes and it can be reached by car or by the local bus in 5 minutes. Grocery shops, restaurants, bars and other services you might need for a good holiday are available in the town.
The apartment is composed of: one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a balcony, one twin bedroom, a second bathroom with shower, one kitchen with gas cooker, fridge/freezer, electric oven, washing machine, iron and iron board, one living room with satellite television and single divan bed, 1 dining zone with table for six guests, a wide terrace equipped with tables, chairs, deck chairs and sun umbrella. The bus stop is just outside the house. A grocery and a restauant is close by.
Amalfi (8 km) and Ravello (12 km) can be easily reached by bus.

Excellent property, our only problem was transportation

This property was absolutely perfect for our family! We stayed 12 days here and loved everything about it and our vacation. Ivan was fantastic - very timely in his response and always helpful. The view from the terrace is breathtaking (and huge!) and with the afternoon shade was the perfect place to sit to enjoy the incredible view. Praiano itself is an incredible town - much more authentic and significantly less busy and touristy than Positano. The people here were so friendly and we couldn’t wait to get back to this lovely town after every excursion. We would definitely stay at this property again - highly recommend it!

Really nice house
Need to change the wording of the listing. Says 3 bedrooms only has 2 plus a hide a bed with a very thin mattress. Should be billed as 2 bedroom

Alles in allem super.

Great ambiance and location
We stayed for 6 nights at this wonderful home in the center of the small town of Praiano. While the Amalfi Coast is beautiful, the logistics of getting around, the narrow roads, and spread out attractions make it challenging to enjoy. We liked this home as a base from which we could explore different areas (Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, A boat to Capri, hiking the Path of the Gods, etc.) with less than an hour drive or bus ride for each. The house is clean and well kept up, Ivan was very helpful in getting us settled, the washer, showers and kitchen all were fine (which is not to be taken for granted in southern Italy) and there were several good restaurants and markets within a 5-10 minute walk. The only minor annoyance was that parking is on the street about a 5 minute walk away, but it was free and we had no problems with it.
If you can adapt to Amalfi and have a great time in a different culture, you will like this house. If you want everything to be the same as the US, stay there and miss out!

The home is wonderful and quiet
This is very convenient just off the street with no steps to climb. We were grateful for the parking in a garage. A real bonus was the wonderful little grocery store just across from our door. It was stocked with everything we needed to eat and drink. The house is very well furnished and a well supplied kitchen. The manager was gracious and always available for questions. We really enjoyed our time on the balcony with such a wonderful view.

Wonderful location
My husband and I and another Australian couple stayed in Casa Antico Seggio for 9 nights in September. The house is in a wonderful location in the quieter village of Praiano and it was so nice to come home to after the busyness of the other towns on the Amalfi Coast. We loved staying here and enjoyed being part of this lovely village. The view from the balcony was spectacular. The house was very clean and the internet worked well from most areas of the villa. The house is in a good location - steps away from the bus stop for 2 local buses and there was a mini market directly across from us. The house is high up in the village and the walk back up to the house from Praiano and the local beach was challenging, but doable, but there is a local bus that runs quite frequently. The house was very well equipped and the main bedroom was large and air conditioned. The second bedroom was smaller and unfortunately for us tall people the ceiling was sloped, but this did not spoil our enjoyment of staying here. Our host. Ivan, was very helpful and gave us great advice, regarding buses, restaurants, etc. We thoroughly recommend this property.

Wonderful location, wonderful property
Praiano is a wonderful location for a stay on the Amalfi coast. Not commercial and you have the opportunity to mix with the locals. The property is not let down by the photos. If anything the property is better. We were very impressed with everything. The view is stunning which you can enjoy from a very long balcony. The property owner, Ivan, is great too. No problems of we needed anything. We parked our car in his garage for 10 euro per night which is advisable despite the cost. There is too much risk of damage to cars there. Alternatively I would recommend a taxi to Naples and a ferry to Praiano with your luggage. The local buses are 1 euro for any single trip. There is also a car hire facility directly outside the property. There is a simple Salumeria directly outside the property also where you can buy basics such as bread, milk, toiletries etc. Further down the village is a decent supermercato; Tutti Tutti. Enjoy your stay and thnks again to Ivan.
