LOCAL AREA
The property is close to the comprehensive shopping areas of both Southbourne and Boscombe with their many cafes and bars. For those that want more than just sand castles there is nearby Fisherman's Walk which was the final stretch of an ancient route taken by villagers of Holdenhurst to reach the sea for fishing. As Southbourne started being developed in the early twentieth century, this strip of land was preserved in 1913 as a park for the enjoyment of residents. It has also become the refuge for wildlife which adds to its attraction. Known for being a popular seaside resort in the suburb of Bournemouth, Southbourne-On-Sea is situated between well-known Boscombe and Christchurch. Southbourne makes for the perfect stay, which attractions all within walking distance. Southbourne is home to one of the many Blue Flag award-winning beaches, the miles of safe golden sands ensures a perfect family day out at. Just up from the beach, you will find a very popular children’s play park on the cliff top, with the opportunity to stroll along to the many cafes. The main area of Southbourne is Southbourne Grove, which harbours a long shopping street that has a unique mix of individual shops. Here you’ll find local amenities such a post office, bank, pharmacy and chain supermarkets including both Tescos and Sainsburys, for those who wish to cook at home of an evening. Although still a popular resort, Southbourne-On-Sea is an area for tourists keen to escape the busier areas of Bournemouth town centre. Why not catch the land train which runs across to the most eastern part? A train runs across Hengistbury Head from the bus terminus to the beach, where you’ll find a prime spot for some kite flying. The nearby Priory market town of Christchurch offers some fabulous river walks and boat trips as well as the opportunity to indulge in a cream tea. The cosmopolitan centre of Bournemouth lies just a short distance away with a plethora of shopping, dining and entertainment facilities. An excellent choice.

Great location and thankful for parking space given the heavy parking on the road outside. Property relatively clean although the oven could do with a good scrub along with some mould remover and freshen up in the shower cubicle. Light shades dirty and also very bad behind the sofas and chair. WiFi excellent. Bedroom wall light was flickering and so not useable. Otherwise great and as described.

Hi, back home after our cruise, and short stay in Southborne. Our accommodation was comfortable, although we were supplied with bed linen and towels, it would have been lovely to have had dish cloths - particularly for travellers coming from outside the Country!!! (Far afield from South Africa). Also some additional cleaning products for the bathroom. We found our accommodation central to what we wanted to see - had to leave something for another visit!!! Having parking on the premises was a plus. However the picture alongside wasnt quite what our bed looked like! It also would have been lovely to have some micro wave dishes and some storage containers for any left over food to be kept in the fridge!! Also travelling from far afield some spare bin bags would have been a bonus. We found people in the high street most accommodating and friendly. The washing machine was an absolute bonus! We discovered a good place in the high street for an occasional meal - but if a list of known restaurants was added to the wonderful supply of pamphlets that would have been a bonus. We had a wonderful stay in Southborne.

This apartment was very neatly presented, clean and tidy. The position to the beach and shops was very good. Being a ground floor we were a little nervous of hearing noise from above but we did not, it was perfectly quiet. Just a slight issue with the shower which does need to be sorted and a dripping tap in the kitchen but apart from that we really enjoyed our stay.
