It is in a beautiful location. The grounds are gorgeous.
The trash in the room hadn’t been emptied. The power went out for nearly 2 hours. The AC unit in our room didn’t work and had to be replaced.

The atmosphere of the location is amazing. The massive fireplace creates a vibe immediately on entrance that is stunning.
The rooms seem like they could use a little bit of update/maintainance - such as paint and scuff touch-ups. Right now it seems a tad dingy. Also the bathtub drain was slow and started to back up which is gross. There was also no vent fan in the bathroom. It just seems for the amount that I paid for one night these things would be a non issue.

Mountain View’s, fire in the huge lobby fireplace, Christmas decorations throughout lodge, very nice restaurant and Sports Bar.
Spa is not open every day. you have to make reservations for spa services before you book the room.

The Setting! The Lobby.
Menu handed out at front desk for Brassies doesn’t match the actual menu downstairs. There is a significant disappointing cancellation of prior items. This is not my first stay at Brasstown Resort. David, Lobby Bartender is excellent! He is a significant asset and has been for several years to your Resort.
The Bartender in Brassies (Man from Hawaii) is poor in his drink making and behavior to clients!
Brassies menu needs to be enlarged back to what it used to be and it needs to be open later. Midnight with food until Eleven!

The breakfast was amazing! It’s a must have. The location was pretty good with lot of things to do nearby. Crane creek winery, Chatuga lake is all very near. The spa is exceptional.

Everything was clean and inviting. We did have to request a room change bc the room we were assigned did not have a nice view(roof of indoor pool) so we had to go for queen beds instead of king
When we pulled the blanket off one bed the bottom sheet had a 3inch tare in the sheet and the top sheet had holes in it. The towels seemed a little dingy but clean. For a resort the linens were not the quality I expected. Also the sliding bathroom door would not stay shut(room 303)

Everyone is friendly
Card for the doors deactivate too easily. I’m currently at Holiday Inn and the cards are not deactivated at all doing the same processes that I normally do

Beautiful property, golf was outstanding, dining room great, pool & workout room well maintained & comfortable, nice hiking trails, big fireplace with cozy couches. corn hole, pool table &!ping pong table was a nice touch
The rooms need upgrading, mattresses need upgrading. Towels are dingy. The housekeeping seems understaffed resulting in things like a Dirty shower when we arrived, housekeeping missed cleaning our room the first day, second day we had to go to management to get it cleaned. Hard time getting room keys that worked, we had to put a service order in.

Location
Restricted to buffets for meals.

I loved the mountain setting and the rustic look of the lodge. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and fit well with the natural setting. The food was good, but not outstanding.
The rooms were very pricey, but were equivalent to a mid range motel - relatively clean but dated. They were definitely in need of refurbishing. There was no effort to carry over the rustic theme of the lodge in the rooms. They were sterile and cold with no ambiance at all.
