Prima Unterkunft

Nähe zum Wasserfall (in der Früh waren wir dort beim Baden ganz alleine), Super Restaurant gegenüber (Abendessen), Unkomplizierter Rollerverleih (diesen braucht man hier unbedingt- um zum Frühstücken zu fahren und natürlich um die Insel zu erkunden..)

Bad könnte ein kleines "update" vertragen

A great stay in a peaceful location!

A great place to stay if you are visiting Koh Kood! The accomodation is located away from the busier coastal/beach side of Koh Kood, further into the jungle. The location is very beautiful, with the sound of birds and animals heard from the decking of the huts. It was amazing to spend the days exploring the islands, the beautiful beaches and to be able to return in the evenings to the peaceful nature. Each hut has a private entrance, decking and a private bathroom. The huts are very clean, spacious and have a fridge as well as air conditioning. There is a restaurant located across the road, and a few other places to eat or get a drink down the road. There is also a beautiful waterfall a few minutes drive down the road. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Koh Kood!

Manager tried to charge customer for flimsy cheap poor alloy key.

The manager told me first that the sliding door was difficult to lock, that I have to somehow hold/push the door in order to complete the lock. That was barely manageable. At night and going outside, I tried to lock and then the flimsy poor alloy key just broke inside the lock. And then the manager told me that it was my fault, that I should have "call him"...to lock my door ? Seriously ? He even try to charge me a new lock ( he had to break the lock to let me re-enter my room ). First, a regular key is almost impossible to break by hand, so next time try to buy quality keys, not flimsy cheap poor alloy key. And second, I don't have to follow a "special procedure" to lock my room: just install properly the sliding door and lock adjustement for a change. Goes without saying that I haven't paid him a dime. I told the manager that a normal hotel MUST have a functionning lock and a regular key that doesn't break, not a "special procedure lock" and a flimsy cheap key. I spend the night without any lock, not safe at all, despite what the manager said, I don't trust a word from this man. No sleep, waste of money. Horrible customer service.

Jederzeit gerne wieder!!!

Schönes einfaches Bungalow für verhältnismäßig kleines Geld; Preis-Leistung daher top! Sehr freundlicher Besitzer, Rollervermierung & Restaurant direkt vor Ort. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Genügend Sitzmöglichkeiten an den Bungalows vorhanden, jedoch relativ unbequem (Kissen oder bequeme Stühle wären wünschenswert)

Le bungalow et le Moo Kra ta au restaurant ainsi que le scooter tout neuf.

Service minimum, pas de petit dej, resto régulièrement fermé et vue la localisation peu d’alternatives.

Einfach alles, ich kann das Baan Sanchan zu 100% weiter empfehlen. Und wenn ich wieder Urlaub auf Koh Kood mache werde ich es wieder buchen!👍🤩

Tolles Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. ruhiger Bungalow, sauber mit allem eingerichtet was man so braucht (Klima, Kühlschrank, Badezimmer). Netter Vermieter welche ein Thai Restaurant gegenüber betreiben. Allerdings sollte man wissen, dass man zu Fuß nicht viel unternehmen kann (evtl. zum Khlong Chao Wasserfall). Die Wege sind einfach zu weit. D.h. hier empfehle ich einen Roller zu mieten (kann man auch direkt in der Unterkunft buchen).

Fantastic affordable beautiful stay!!!

Can’t fault anything about this property,it’s perfect!!! Location is only minutes to the beach (scooter) and the best waterfall,also all shops and restaurants. They also have a great restaurant on site that does an amazing BBQ hot plate-they provide the meat and you cook it to your taste. The owner/manager Nu is so helpful and kind and a good person. Also can hire scooters here,cheaper then down on the beach. The little bungalow is ideal,a/c worked great,bed was great and bathroom was clean! They also provided a kettle and coffee etc which we appreciated and used. Excellent value for money,you won’t be disappointed with this place!❤️❤️❤️❤️

nice area, cute bungalows, very calm in the mornings and evenings, scooter rental and laundry as extra service for decent prices, cleaning at our half time

without a scooter you would be kind of stuck and there wasn‘t one available on our first day

Superb

It was very quiet and peaceful at Baan Sangchan. We hired a scooter from the host which made it very easy to get around, however it is walkable to the beach and Waterfall only short walk away. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was very good at the restaurant but first day there was no one there to serve breakfast at 09:00 but we messaged on booking.com and host came to meet us so it was fine

Our stay at Baan Sangchan is been just perfect! Everything was amazing,great area,very quite,great hospitality from Nuk & his lovely family.I definately recommended this resort and I will come back for sure. I forgott my phone at the restaurant the day we left and Nuk drove soon after us to bring me the phone,I really appreciate 🙏

Helpful owner, lovely stay in Koh Kood

Quiet and peaceful setting with large spacious room (we stayed in the holiday home) location was good but would need a bike to get to the beach and restaurants, we rented our bike from the owner. The owner was so helpful and friendly and did everything he could to make sure we had a great stay, we would definitely recommend staying here 👍🏻 He helped us book the ferry back to the mainland and answered all our questions. We ate at the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast which was delicious!

Liked everything. Intially we were concerned about being about a mile from the beach. But actually unless you pay for something seriously expensive then the accom closest to the beaches is actually 200 plus yards away and generally the other side of a main road. So staying here and mopeding in for 2 mins made perfect sense. So don't let not being by the beach put you off. Great restaurant as well.

Perfect location to start the day with a jump into the waterfall (1 min with the scooter) Central position to reach everything on the island, scooter to rent for cheap price. The owner is super helpful and gave us an upgrade on the bungalow for free even without asking. The room was very clean ind everything was in really good condition! Also the breakfast was very cozy and familiar! Thank you so much for this great stay, we definitly would come back!

Friendly staffs with homey place to stay

Staffs were friendly and helpful that guided us through what to eat, activities to do, and where to go. The room itself was clean and cozy. I love little house with porch. Plus, it was peaceful and not too far from waterfall. Such a lovely stay! :)
