Perfect location for what we wanted with nice walk to Cabopino beach

Was a little sceptical due to the very reasonable price, however upon arrival found the apartment to be very pleasant and had everything we needed. The host Peter has been great with communication and going the extra mile with recommendations for local spots to visit. Only a short trip from Fuengirola or Marbella or a short walk to local beaches and a couple of bars and restaurants. The apartment is on a hill but nothing more than a couple of minutes exercise to walk up. Unfortunately 2 of the 3 pools were closed during our stay due to Spanish government decisions to not allow filling yet. Had that not been the case the stay would have been perfect as the pools there are beautiful. All in all though it’s an ideal spot for a quiet family getaway in the sun with the option to venture out or just stay by the pools or balcony. Thank you very much.

We stayed in apartment for the month of August -and we absolutely loved it had a great time various family members came and went too of all ages (13-80) so pros -the apartment is well equipped and can accommodate 4 adults easily -the bathrooms are lovely with walk-in showers -the pool is a stones throw from apartment but they don’t have sun beds! the complex is always clean and well maintained - there is air con in lounge area only (fans in bedrooms) the balcony and view were lovely
Bedrooms were okay for four the main bedroom is large the second bedroom is a twin room good size and the bunk beds room is tiny but good for storage
Cons -air con is needed in bedrooms, the fans only circulate hot air, the apartment is a nice neighbourhood and is 5 mins downhill to supermarket-but very steep uphill coming back (not for disabled) you are about 20mins walk to nearest bar and Resturant down hill and bus stops which take you every where cheaply - and about 25-30min walk to Cabopino Beach -we did have a car but found it hard to park near beach so got Ubers everywhere which was €9 euros to beach and back from restaurants nearby and €33 one way to Marbella Puerto Banus
So if you aren’t able to walk far or up steep hills a car or taxi would be needed
Overall -it’s was great for everyone that came and they are all had a lovely time -I would highly recommend this apartment and may even do it again!

We had an amazing week at this apartment and we were all very sorry to leave! Pete was so helpful sending us information before we arrived to assist us during our stay. The apartment itself was absolutely beautiful and was immaculately clean: the sofas and bathrooms have also been updated since the photos were taken. The photos don't do it justice! The apartment is really close to the pools so we managed to fit in a dip each day around our exploring. There were lots of local bars and restaurants to choose from. The apartment is up a steep hill from the beach but we did walk down one evening rather than using the hire car despite the heat of the heatwave! The underground parking also helped to keep the car cool ready for our long drives! Thank you so much Pete. We had a fantastic holiday and would love to stay again some time!

Excellent location in the park, pleasant parking garage, swimming pool and jacuzzi within a short walking distance and are located in a well-maintained garden. Spacious terrace with lots of sun and seating, complete kitchen, plenty of seating in the living room. 2 comfortable bedrooms with good beds.

Delightful apartment
A very good apartment with a superb main bedroom and long terrace, and well provided for with utensils, and crockery . There is a safe private parking space with easy access to the apartment and the complex is well designed and attractive. There are a couple of local restaurants we coud easily walk to and by car a wide variety. The owner Peter was always helpful and very supportive.
Overall a delightful apartment in a nice area and one I shall be booking again

February on the Costa del Sol
Very good value. All as per all the earlier reviews.Great to be away from GB in the worst month of the year in weather that was far better than the usual british summer.
The hill up to the property, as mentioned before, was a bit of a challenge for us 70+ y.o. pensioners but we would have paid 3 times as much for a place nearer the harbour and not got the exercise.
Peter, the owner, could not have been more helpful.
Highly recommended.

Great sized apartment and fantastic pool in a quiet area
Have just returned from a week long stay in this apartment with our 3 children and in-laws. 3 good sized bedrooms and large lounge /dining area/ kitchen plus two bathrooms which was definitely a bonus!! The owner was very helpful both before and during our visit. Pool was quiet with only a few families at any one time, we slightly under-estimated the hills as they are very steep especially when pushing a buggy (although kept us fit!!) found our bearings after first couple of days, would definitely recommend the village Inn bbq and orange tree pub which are both about 15 mins walk. Two supermarkets within walking distance and catered for most things we needed. Bus stop takes you to marbella etc although roads were extremely busy so ended up being 45 mins each way. Marbella actually cheaper for food and drink than local places at Cabopino. Aircon only in the lounge but fans in the bedrooms. Large balcony with sun all day. Washing machine and large clothes airer were great as I have 3 small children!! Would definitely recommend booking, hire a car if you're able to. Our week went too fast, we'd like to go for two weeks next time!!

Very pleased with this holiday apartment. The gardens and swimming pools very well managed.
This was the first time I had used HomeAway website so I was nervous about the final outcome, but everything went very smoothly. The owner of this property was very helpful in making sure that we got the best out of our stay with emails and phone calls before we went.
The apartment was on the ground floor located near the biggest of three pools but our balcony was overlooking a well kept garden area, so we were never disturbed by poolside noises. The apartment was ideal for our needs and the gardens and pools are very well maintained and secure.
We never hired a car and walked everywhere. The beach was a 20 minute walk away through a wooden paved nature reserve and the beach itself was safe for children, although a section of it was for naturists but so what.
We caught the local bus (M220) to Marbella old town and considering the actual distance the fare was very cheap. It was a good day out for us all.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and HomeAway and will probably do something similar again next year.

Great stay !
Excellent communication with the owner from booking to the end of our stay. The apartment itself was lovely, in a beautiful complex and had more than everything we needed.Great wifi and tv package to keep teenagers entertained. Excellent sunny balcony.Short walk to bus stops for easy access to Marbella or Fuengirola but the apartment is on quite a steep hill. Cabopino harbour about 20 min walk to very nice bars and restaurants although other options and supermarket within a few minutes walk.
Happy hour in Jorges at the harbour is well worth a visit as is The Shebeen.Overall a beautiful place to visit .

Lovely, clean and well equipped apartment in a great location. Spacious south facing balcony which was a real sun trap. WIFI excellent and an added bonus to have all TV channels.

Fantastic Apartment for the Family
Just landed back after a 7 day stay.
Apartment had everything we needed for two families (4 adults 3 kids in total). Great Balcony (sunshine all day), 2 bathrooms (2 showers 1 bath) living room, 3 bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen with dining table. Tv with lots of choice. Very handy location (big hill to keep you excercised if on foot like we was and would proberly hire a car next time but pleasant walks we did have to the beach). Loverly beach soft sand and fantastic for the kids nice long shallow area (near andys bar. Careful of the nudist beach to the right we walked that way down to the non nudist areas a couple of times but the kids just giggled and didnt really care) Couple of Bars on the beach with food, little shop hut and sunbed hire. Bus service to marbella and fuengirola every half hour 10 min walk from apartment (we used both ways 1.5 to 2 euros cheap as chips). 2 supermarkets close by and Hong kong restaurant great food (decent prices) and little village bar and restaurant close by aswell also great food (but pricy) also there are restaurants in the harbour area.
Superb quiet location with nice pools and all very secure.

Wonderful apartment for our family
My husband, myself and our two children (10 & 12) had a lovely week here. The apartment was very well presented and was very clean. It is comfortably furnished and had everything we could need, the children thought the tv system was amazing and did take a little persuasion to leave it! The complex is kept lovely and the pools are great, even in October, when it seemed a very peaceful place to pass a few hours. Cabopino beach is just a short drive away and we spent most nights at the restaurants around the Dona Lola resort, about 10 minutes drive away, where we had some amazing meals.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Peter's apartment to anyone wanting a comfortable, relaxing holiday and would look to book again should we be in the area. Thanks, Peter, for trusting us with your home.

wonderful Stay
Just returned from a 7 night stay at this lovely apartment.
From the first contact with the owner Pete things couldn't have gone any better.
The apartment is in a nice secure quiet complex a short distance from Cabopino with its clean beach and quaint harbour .
The apartment itself is spotlessly clean, with 2/3 bedrooms depending on your needs,with nice comfortable beds , bedrooms have plenty of storage space too.
2 Bathrooms, both with walk in showers, one with a large bath should you prefer a nice long soak.
A fully equipped kitchen with every utensil and appliance you would ever need should you wish to cook your own meals .
A large balcony with sunbeds is also included ,as are various pools for your enjoyment.
Underground secure car parking with an allocated space is provided ,so need to worry about finding a parking space after a long day at the beach or exploring the area.
We would certainly recommend this apartment, and wouldn't hesitate to book it again the next time we visit spain

Good facilities
We've had a great time in this apartment. It's big, clean and well equipped. The kitchen was fine. It's nice to stay in a place with enough luxury.(Dishwasher, Washing machine and Coffee Perculator) Every morning we've had breakfast on the balcony. That gave us a real holiday feeling. Nice and enjoyable stay
We've had a great time in this apartment. It's big, clean and well equipped. The kitchen was fine. It's nice to stay in a place with enough luxury.( dishwasher, washing machine, oven and micro wave)). Everything is in the apartment: parasols, beach mats, books, movies, toys for in the water...The pools were fantastic, especially for our 13 year old son. The bikes were all right but it was just a bit too hot and steep to have a nice cycle trip.( we are used to a flat country;) Every morning we've had breakfast on the balcony. That gave us a real holiday feeling. The beach isn't very far but we were glad we hired a car. During the night it could be rather hot so we were happy there were two fans. Airco worked well but only suitable for the living room. We would definitely recommend this apartment. Thanks Peter,for your hospitality!

Lovely Apartment, great location
Just come back from a wonderful week in this apartment. Along with my husband & two children we had plenty of room and very much enjoyed the large balcony (for eating & sunbathing). The apartment was clean and very well equipped, particularly the kitchen. The complex itself felt very safe & secure & we were not troubled by noise from other people or traffic.
The pool area is fantastic & we were very grateful for the sun loungers which were stowed by the pool for apartment stayers to use. The pool area was very quiet for the week and at many times of the day, my children were the only ones in it. The area around it and the swimming pool itself are also kept very clean.
We hired a car for the week and to be honest could not have done without it. We didn't even try to find the beach on foot, especially when carrying so much and in the intense heat. With so many lovely restaurants to choose from and with Puerto Banus so close, I would definitely recommend hiring a car to do a bit of exploring. Cabopino beach is lovely but very busy!
Pros - how well apartment is equipped, location, swimming pool, balcony.
Cons - No air con in bedrooms (just fans), car essential (in my opinion).

Great location and cute apartment!
Really loved the apartment and its location. It was fully equipped, had two bedrooms and two full baths! There is even a pullout sofa in the living room if need be. Waking up every morning to the beautiful blue sky whilst lounging on the patio was a great way to start off the day. The pool is literally a stone's throw away and is very clean.
You will have a great location for shopping, restaurants, and the beach. Definitely recommend this apartment.

Excellent holiday !!
Great value for money in a lovely location. Apartment is very clean, comfortable & spacious & provides everything you could possibly need. The complex itself boats a lovely view of the sea, clean swimming pools & a high standard of security.
There is a Chinese restaurant near by, a bank & a supermarket-although this is quite pricey so best to go to the Supersol where food & drink is more reasonable.
Cabopino beach is only a 10-15 walk away where there is a lovely sea front bar/restaurant called Andy's (paella is fantastic !) and plenty of sun beds to relax on the beach.
Just a little further you will find Capobino harbour that boasts many great restaurants & stunning scenery.
If you do not want to stroll as far as the harbour for a meal, there are restaurants about 5-10 minutes away by foot called Da Bruno (gormet Italian cuisine), and next to this is a lovely Indian restaurant (Jaipur Palace) that does the best curry !
I went in April with my partner & his 2 yr old son. The weather was lovely, and he certainly wasn't disappointed as there were many attractions for kids nearby such as a sea life centre & a water park.
We didn't rent a car, however, this was not essential as buses run around every 15 minutes to Fuengirola & Marbella-although they do not provide space for a pushchair, so a car would have been easier for us.
I would definitely recommend this to apartment to anyone I know, as I believe there is something that can be enjoyed for everyone, and I plan to go back next year.

Jewel of the Costa del Sol
Cabopino is the little publicised jewel of the Costa del Sol. Equidistant between Fuengirola and Marbella, this gem nestles between the sea and aromic pine trees. The beach (unlike it's larger neighbours) is totaly undeveloped apart from the Chiringuiritos (beach bars) which supply everything from takeaway chips up to A la Carte dining.
To compliment this idylic location is a small marina which is framed by a selection of Restaurants ranging from Thai / Chinese to typical Spanish.
The beach is soft sand and perfect for young children and surfers alike.
The appartment is ideally situated and wheras a car is not essential (regular buses pass the bottom of the complex) it certainly adds to the enjoyment to explore the surrounding resorts and the whitewashed Spanish towns (Mijas Pueblo is highly recommended).
The pictures of the complex show some of the ammenities such as 3 pools and the well maitained gardens. We found the private, off street parking an added bonus.
The appartment has a south facing balcony and we were able to sit out (with a cold beer) well into the evening.
The appartment is very airy with lots of space. Our party was made up of 2 older couples and we found the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms very much to our liking.
We will most definately return.
