Food is good, rooms are good, staff is very cooperative but location of stay is very remote

Location of notonthe map mystic village is too remote.

Trekking and camping activities should also include so that in spite of staying at very remote location, traveller will not bore and miss the main khajjiar

It was an amazing 😍 experience 😄

We are fortunate enough to have found this retreat destination for our vacation. About 2Km (one hour) trekking from Khajjiar leads you to #MysticVillage in Bhaloli Village in #himachalpradesh. #notonmap

Room with incredible view

It is a completely unique experience staying at Mystic Village. It has the most amazing view I have ever seen looking over to the high Himalayas. The village community is friendly & welcoming & the walks around are beautiful. You see amazing sunsets & sunrises & the whole experience is awesome. Shankar the manager & his family & helpers are lovely people & take time to talk to you about the place & area. We had a traditional breakfast of delicious pancakes with ghee & warm fresh milk in Shankar’s family kitchen & other good meals in the main dining area. It’s an experience not to miss. We will return.

Won't recommend for solo travellers.

The property has a good view of the valley.

The property is too remote- especially for solo travellers. The bathroom was dirty all the time and had to be cleaned on making requests. There is also a privacy issue with the villagers. An old man kept on staring as i was brushing my teeth outside the dormitory and later noticed he was still outside the bathroom when i later came out to take a shower. Didn't feel safe for female solo travellers.

It justifies the real definition of peace in mountains.

Primarily because of 2 reasons: 1. The view from the location is a treat to the eyes. 2. The friendliness of staff and villagers 260 degree view of j&k west range, pir panjal range and dhauladhar range is something that one can stare for hours if a mountain lover.

The mirror within the room or outside the room was missing so everytime I wanted to apply moisturizer, sunscreen or kajal, I used to go to the bathroom which was again outside of the room so I think that could be improved which I also advised to the owner.

Experience of staying in a village with mountains around and so much natural beauty was breathtaking. Quiet place away from noice and air pollution.

BEST VIEWS ever in Khajjiar! MUST stay place at least for a night :)

The mystic village has some seriously amazing views of mountains which you will never see anywhere!! Words would not be good enough to describe how it feels to stay there. Just amazing and refreshing to stay with the local village people. Their hospitality and food at the property are just amazing!! Very authentic and genuine cultural experience!! Definitely would recommend this place!!

Nothing to dislike but be prepared to go hike downhill from the top for about 1 km.

The property is between the mountains which makes it the best experience, it actually feels like we are living like the localiets. The view from the room is an added bonus to this property. This property is for those who are coming for only leisure and chill for some days in the mountains and no other agenda. Network was appropriate so one can work from here easily. The staff was amazing and they were so nice and welcoming. And specially the home cooked food by the staff it was delicious. Definitely recommend this hotel for those who are looking to relax and love the nature and snow.

i book double bed room with private washroom. but washroom is to far away the room . and washroom is not private. it's shared washroom . and also washroom is not clean. i waste my money to take private washroom. it's very disgusting.im very disappointed with that.

The room was not the same as shown in picture they were offering us a different room which i didn't like. They said there was some miscommunication and they gave our room to some other guest hence we have no other option but to take the alternative room which was Totally different what was in the pictures.

Not-on-maps magic has woven magic with the locals

The entire aura of the place and the careful sustainable design of the entire village is amazing with really helpful people and the admin at not on maps are doing an amazing job with prompt updates and very good adjusting nature. Complete value for money.

I don't think I disliked any service provided by the village locals and not on maps. They were realy helpful and their service was excellent.

Good

Location is the biggest plus in this property and staff too is very co operative.

Rooms are good and spacious though a few improvements need like a provision for a table fan can be made for good ventilation within the room. Also curtains used are very thin, the sunlight directly passes through in and it disturbs your sleep, so thick curtains can be used. Also water scarcity is there is summers.
