Overall, the cabin met our needs and the host was responsive to issues that arose. Listing is accurate as to space and amenities.

We stayed at this property for four nights during our visit to Yosemite. It was very clean and had plenty of room for our family. The downstairs area had a game room complete with a pool table that we enjoyed. We had blacktail deer that came right up to the back porch. The property is located inside a gated community and you’ll have to pay a $42 charge for your stay. Very beautiful area, we would stay here again.

Loved having A/C during our stay, we used he house as home base for our trip to Yosemite. Plenty of space for everyone to stretch out. Great games for the family, pool table and cornhole were a big hit!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful and the property lived up to the 10 ratings! Everything was perfect and true to the listing. Was one of the most comfortable rentals we have stayed at and had everything we needed and more. It was great to be there during the week as weekends get crowded and renters cannot park at the marina. We plan to come back!

We had a wonderful time here - definitely recommend it for families. We had lots of space and loved playing ping-pong and even had a friendly deer help us with our cornhole game. The pizza place down the road is amazing!

We really enjoyed the views from the deck, the deer that come right up to rest on the property. The property is 5 minutes from the Marina/beach. Great place for a peaceful getaway.

Your place is absolutely amazing! We loved the area the cabin is in. Our family enjoyed the corn hole, ping pong and firepit on the deck. It was so easy to access Yosemite and do everything in the area. We would recommend this to anyone who asks. The owners are super easy to communicate with and the house is stocked with all the basic necessities.

What a wonderful stay we had! We were in Groveland for seven nights, and our only regret was that we were not staying longer.
The house is nestled in a way that it has complete privacy. It has a view to the lake which makes sitting out especially pleasant.
Beds were very comfortable, great shower pressure, and spacious kitchen which I especially appreciated as I cooked most of our meals.
Also, there are lots of games, pool table, and many more to entertain kids and adults. The most memorable thing was when a herd of deers came across the property, and we got to watch them extra close without scaring them away. Plus we saw a hare at least twice. Who can ask for more?
Thank you for your hospitality. We cannot wait to come back

The place was great. Very clean, and the kitchen was very well stocked! I would definitely stay here again

Great experience and location. Lots to do if the weather is bad—games, pool and tv. Good WiFi. Well stocked kitchen. Excellent towels and surprised but please to see shampoo and conditioner. Views are fantastic. Does require some navigation of steep stairs and the lock box is a bit challenging to open so keep you hands free on a rainy day to get the key before trying to unload! Loved our stay!

This was a perfect getaway for our family. We spent a memorable Thanksgiving visiting one of God’s most beautiful creations. The kitchen was perfect for us to prepare a beautiful Thanksgiving spread and we spent the rest of the week hiking, exploring, and making memories! Awesome property and amazing hosts!

We were 2 couples and spent 3 nights here. The home was spacious and clean. Nice kitchen and a beautiful deck (where we ate meals!) When you look ar a map of the neighborhood it looks really crowded but the home is situated such that you feel you are in a park! Tiffany was easy to reach and we had a great stay! 2 (minor) things to be aware of:
- there is a full flight of stars to get from the drive to the front door. I have some knee issues so this was a sirprise (which maybe i missed in the desciption?) There are good railings on each side so it wssnt a big issue for me. There are also oretty steep stairs to the lower level. Not a oroblem for me as i stayed on the first level 😊
- be aware that in the mountains, 30 miles is easily an hours drive (i.e. to Yosemite) Having said that, i dont think there are any places closer and certainly not this nice! We are from the midwest and this just didnt occur to us!
I woukd definitely stay here again!

Spacious home with beautiful deck and great views! Our family of 5 enjoyed staying here - nice to have our own space and yet close enough to hike at Yosemite a few days. Thank you!

We loved the location, the trees, game room.
Everything we needed was there and more. Very well planned for us to enjoy. Kitchen was nice to work in and the plates, etc. were very nice. The owner set a high standard for rentals.

We had a fantastic time at the cabin! It is a peaceful and quiet place with amazing views. The cabin was clean and well-organized. We had a blast playing billiards in the evenings. The host was great and helpful, and we had no trouble communicating with them.
The only thing I would like to mention is that there was a long line of cars at the gate to enter the community. Unless the HOA reorganizes the rules for visitors, be prepared to wait in line for 20-45 minutes on the weekends for entrance and re-entrance (same line) every time.

My family and I had a great 3 night 4 day vacation in this beautiful cozy home. It had plenty of entertainment for my kids. From the pool table to the dart board to the ping pong table out back. The hammock was wonderful and relaxing and it was a great way to end the day. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed for our meal prep. There were plenty of towels and blankets for our needs. Overall the house is well taken care of and we are excited to come back again.

We arrived for our Christmas Holiday, and when we entered there was a Beautiful decorated Christmas Tree. Which put a huge smile on our faces. The house was big and roomy and it was so comfortable, it felt like home. They had everything there that we needed to cook and just enjoy and relax. We sat out on the deck and enjoyed the propane fire pit at night, and durning the day we enjoyed the deer that came through BlackTail Pines. Thank you so much

Beautiful and spacious cabin.
The property was beautiful and spacious with lots to do inside. Our rental car broke down but we still had a blast staying in the area playing pool and darts thank you for allowing us to spend time in your lovely home.

Home Away from Home
What a wonderful place to get away! The rooms were just as pictured, but even better in person when you can see the full layout. 2 bedrooms (1-queen bedroom and the bunk room) are located on the main floor along with a bathroom and the well-arranged kitchen that opens up into the spacious living room. The kids loved the hangout space downstairs with the large TV overlooking the billiards table, dart board and access to the outdoor hammock, ping pong and horse shoes. There's also a large bedroom with a very comfy king sized bed there. The only thing I would suggest is to request for the motion sensor to be less sensitive. Although it was thoughtful to have a nightlight in the room, we had light sleepers in that room that noticed the lights as they came on with any slight motion.
Hubby loved the carpeted bedrooms, the AC/Heating units in the rooms and not having any neighbors. As stated before the kiddos loved the game room and the TV and I loved the well-appointed kitchen and the fact that we felt at home right away.
Other reviewers have mentioned the steep driveway. Yes, it is steep, but we found it easier to pull in through the "second" entrance of the drive-through drive way and leave through the "first". (The first entrance you would come across as you approach the property).
Thank you Tiffany and family for sharing your wonderful home with us! We are looking forward to our next visit here!

Nature(lly) Wonderful at Blacktail Pines
This is a great property if you want to get away from it all, but still have all the comforts of home! Everything you need for a great vacation is here either at the house (pool table, ping pong, horse shoes, darts, board and card games) or in the vicinity (lake, boating, pool, horseback riding, golf and the amazing Yosemite)! We really had a great time and will come back soon!

Great Stay!
Rental process was easy. Kids had a great time with all of the games at the property. Less than 5 minute drive to Pine Mountain Lake. Spent the day on the lake using the family pedal cruiser - which was easy to pedal. Spent another day in Yosemite - which the main gate was about 45 minutes away. Beds st the house were very comfortable. We had a deer come right up to the house and quite a few squirrels in the trees. My only concern was the steep driveway but we worked that out.

Nice place to stay. Lots of potential
We came for a short stay (3 days) so did not get to take full advantage of all that Black Tail Pines cabin has to offer. Probably best to stay a bit longer and in the summer when the Lake is open. We didn't take advantage of the amenities at Pine Mountain Lake. But the location is great. Close to the Mar-Val market so easy to make meals and pack lunches. For out of towners, be aware that getting to Yosemite Valley takes over an hour. Communication was easy and great. Lots of things to keep you busy in the house. Hope we can come back and stay longer and enjoy the Lake.

No Complaints!
There was absolutely no complaints from us! I could not have felt any closer to nature.
There is a reason why this property is highly rated. Just see for yourself.

Kids friendly house
We stayed there for a week with kids. Loved that house a lot. Especially, I liked a backyard with trees and lights at night. We will be back.

Great house that would easily fit 2 families with lots of things to entertain: darts, horseshoes, pool, ping pong. Yet still quiet and away from other people. A lake for swimming although we didn’t have time to use it. Had to contact the owners once and they responded instantly with great courtesy. Highly recommend.

Great spot for Yosemite
This property was a great spot for getting to Yosemite. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The entertainment provided was enjoyable. My son liked being able to dock his Nintendo Switch. Owner was very responsible to any questions and we had a great stay.

Fun house for all ages
We were two families of 5 - we had a couple toddlers and a few pre-tweens between us and everyone had a great time at the cabin. There was enough room for everyone to sit and eat (kids sat at the table and the adults enjoyed a "quieter" meal at the bar) and the video game console was a hit among the kids and husbands alike :-) The drive to Yosemite is pretty easy with great views along the way and we enjoyed the quaintness of Groveland on one of our lazy days. Definitely would recommend! Also, the beds are super comfy and the water pressure was AWESOME!!!

Perfect House for Yosemite Trip
We enjoyed our stay at this house and would definitely return. We were a total of 5 thirty somethings with a little toddler. I booked the house mainly because I wanted a pool table for evening activities and it turned out to be great! The ping pong table was in great shape (although they could use some new paddles!) and the horseshoes and darts were a blast. The house was very clean and the grill on the balcony fired up easily for an evening steak dinner.
The only thing I would point out is the staircase to the home is a bit steep and a little un-level. It wasn't a problem for us but if you have any elderly people in your group, it is something to consider.
All in all we had an amazing time at this house, spent hours playing ping pong, pool, darts and horseshoes and would definitely return in the future.

Wonderful house in PML
We had an amazing stay at Tiffany's house in PML. Beautiful location very close to the Marina (maybe a 3 minute drive?) and all its amenities. The check-in process was completely seamless, and everything was exactly as Tiffany described in her email to me the previous day. Communication with her was great (I texted her a question and she responded within minutes), and the house has everything you could ask for as far as far as entertainment at the end of a long day of exploring and hiking - pool table, ping pong, darts, multiple TV's, etc. The kitchen was also by far the best stocked of any rental cabin I've ever been in! Sometimes it's hard to make a meal because they leave you one frying pan and a few utensils. Tiffany is clearly a cook because her kitchen has everything you need and more! The house also has a binder of info for local restaurants that is helpful (the Mexican place in Groveland is yummy and so is the pizza place up the street!) Plus, a great coffee pot and nice big mugs for your morning coffee out on the deck while you watch the deer walk by. We were here with only our family of 4, but there is more than enough room for at least another family, plus more. We didn't use the downstairs bedroom at all. We can't wait to come back to PML and wouldn't hesitate to stay at Tiffany's place again. Thanks for a great stay!

Yosemite vacation
Our family had such a wonderful time staying at Tiffany’s cabin. The beds were comfortable and it had everything we needed. The view is great from the deck. We all loved the pool table, ping pong table and hammock out back. It was a very relaxing cabin when we were there. Tiffany was also very prompt at returning messages.
We spent most of our time at Yosemite. It is about an hour and fifteen minutes to Yosemite village from the cabin, but it’s a gorgeous drive. We hiked glacier point, vernal falls and did a few other hikes. We were exhausted, but had so much fun. We recovered one day by going to the lake by the cabin and renting sail boats and paddle boats. It was so beautiful there.
We had an amazing vacation and we would definitely rent this cabin again !

Perfect Base Camp for Yosemite Hikes
We used this VRBO as a Base Camp for our trek into Yosemite to climb Half Dome. Leaving early int eh morning there was near zero traffic and only took a little over an hour to get to the trailhead - not the 1.5 hours Google Maps suggests. The stairs down to the front entry were a little tough after a day of hiking, but the comfort of the home was very refreshing after a day on the trails.
Entry into the neighborhood is an additional $31/vehicle - wouldn't have changed our location decision as the rate for this unit is still lower than other options in the area in other neighborhoods even with the fee. Not to mention the park and lake are well worth the additional access fee - definitely plan your time to take advantage of this feature!
We didn't get to the pool table, ping pong, or horse shoes but all these amenities are available and in great shape.
The BBQ on the back deck is top notch!
If we are visiting this area again we will definitely consider this unit. We were a party of 6 and there was way more room than we needed. I highly recommend a visit.
Oh - and Tiffany is the best! One of the people in our group left their GoPro in their room... Tiffany was quick to get it found and secured for us. She was also very quick to answer questions when we had them and accommodate our needs.
