The staff were so nice!! And the owner sara was really helpful and so friendly. The dorm room was really good with curtains around the bed and the bathrooms were always kept very clean. Great location near the beach and restaurants. And the breakfast was big and delicious!

Really recommend Green’s Nungwi to stay, we really enjoyed our 9 nights in March, 2023 there.

The location is great for this price. The hotel is near (5 mins) one of the best beaches on Zanzibar- Nungwi.If you would like to try some local fruits at the best price - go to the local Market, which is also less than 10 mins away from the property. The staff is very friendly and nice, they will help you and give advice with everything you need. The room was cleaned every morning, AC was working. Breakfasts are also very tasty and nutritious, served always with some fruits.

The suit looked a bit old, but there’s very comfortable bed, hot water, AC and safe. Still good for this price.

Oasis

Greens is simply a perfect place to relax. A beautiful relaxing oasis with a small pool to cool off, family atmosphere. Not every small detail need to be perfect when the vibe is more than perfect…. I felt like home Do not hesitate to ask the staff for anything, they are around basically 24 hours for you. I definitely recommend this place!

Nice garden with a lovely pool, very friendly staff. The energy inside Greens is something different, very peaceful feeling. Nice area for exercise. Clean and comfortable place. Breakfast is very good. Big dorm with curtains for the bed. This place is so far one of the best places I have visited in Zanzibar.

The vibe!

Everything. There is a vibe inside Greens that is so amazing, the whole place is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. It feels like staying at a friend. Breakfast is very good, clean place, close to everything. definitely recommend 10/10!

It was comfortable, everyone was friendly! Wifi is good, cleanliness okay and also pool to chill in! super close to the beach with all restaurants and an ATM very close!

amazing hotel amazing manager Mohamed and best breakfast , they are so helpful and they speak many languages and also they have best workers with good smile and guard is amazing Massai! everyday I woke up and he is just smiling that makes my day , also best internet in town , also nice pool and surrounded with Tanzanian vibes that’s what I wanted , thanks greens for best time in Nungwi and without hesitate will come back when ever I’m in Zanzabar

Great quiet place in the center of Nungwi

Very helpful and kind staff, from the managers to the security guard. The place has a peaceful atmosphere (which is not given in Nungwi). We had excellent breakfast every morning.

We had a room with a shared bathroom, and sometimes all common bathrooms were taken.

Feels like home

Very welcoming and relaxing place in the middle of nungwi, it does not feel like a hostel, feels more like coming home to family. Minutes away from main road, supermarket and the beach, perfect location. breakfast was also very good.

Very clean and secure place, good location, very attentive management! Breakfast could be improved

Mohammed and Sarah were very nice and attentive, always present and working hard to make sure everything is ok. There is a 24hr Masai security person and location is great with a 4-5 minute walk to the beach. Only the room with shared bathroom was available for us and we were skeptical of it's availability and cleanliness, but it was almost always available and cleaned multiple times a day, that was amazing. Wifi was also good which is apparently uncommon in Zanzibar.

As with even great options, there is always scope for improvements! The place suffered from voltage issues both nights (we were told it's a Zanzibar wide issue in beach locations). Due to this, AC was off for 3-4 hours on first night, and wasn't working for a couple of hours on second night also. But Mohamed stayed awake till voltage improved and AC worked again. Included breakfast was decent but could be improved - more fruits, more than one omelette with at least veggie toppings in it should be there. Also the butter smelled, likely from being kept outside.

Family atmosphere in a green oasis

This is not my first time staying in Greens and I will definitely be back again. One of the biggest reasons is because of the owner and her staff, it’s amazing how she have been able to create such a family atmosphere between her, the staff and us guests staying there. I really feel like home in Greens. It’s a small quiet oasis in the center of nungwi. Perfect place to meet other people and to relax. Recommend this place 100 percent! Thank you Greens team for accommodating me once again!

The hotel staff Mohammed, Sara were great and helpful. The security guard was very friendly and welcoming. AC was wonderful after a day in the sun at the beach. They kept my bags secure on my last day after checkout without issue. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Location is very central, Sarah, Mohamed and other staff are always very helpfull and friendly, wifi, hot water, nice breakfast, good bed, clean, the garden is like a little oasis....what more can a person need? Especially in this pricerange. All in all i had a great time. Would defenitely recommend 10/10!

Sarah and Mohommed were amazing hosts! So friendly and always so attentive to the needs of the guests, making sure the bathrooms were kept clean and the breakfast was yummy with eggs, crepe and fruits. The beds were comfy and the aircon was great. Great atmosphere and I had so much fun spending New year there. They put on a free bbq for the guests and I think that was such a lovely touch. Thankyou for the amazing stay guys! Would definitely return :)

Sarah and Mohammed are the best hosts ever. Spent NYE there and had really great time with them. We can totally recommend that place for your stay in nungwi, especially if u wanna connect to other people.
