My stay here was amazing! Everything was clean and comfy! The location was great as it was right in the town! The host was also very nice, and she helped us with everything we needed, even the directions to the bus stop. The view from the balcony was beautiful!
The apartment was a bit cold for my preference, but there was a heater provided. However, it shorted out after a little bit. But there were plenty of blankets, so it was not a big deal at all. The only thing is that there was no wifi, but I was prepared for it because it said that some rooms have it and some don't depending on the room bought.

The friendliest and most welcoming host. The room was very comfortable and clean, the patio is a wonderful place to sit and relax.

Centrally located; nice view from the terrace; flexible arrival
Cold in the winter (space heater wasn't adequate); dated furniture; one long pillow on the bed

The lovely host gave us a nicer apartment with a magnificent view from the large balcony.
Thank you!

Clean, well-situated and with it's own delightful patio surrounding an ancient lemon tree. This is a great homestay, suited to backpackers and the owner never stops smiling !

The patio and it was so lush and also amazingly clean

The open patio, kitchen and open fire on the evening. Central within the village.
No bowls for cereals

Lovely little annex to the main house, great location just off the main square. Some limited kitchen facilities (tea and coffee etc) were available. Beautiful little private patio/terrace to sit.
Room felt a bit damp. I prefer a door to my toilet rather than a curtain that goes half way across the opening. Although the accommodation had two rooms, the occupants of the other room would have had to walk through the main bedroom to use the toilet.

The location of the appartment is unbeatable, right in the centre of Ardales so you can easily go out for drinks and dinner. The host recommended a fabulous restaurant just across the street which we really enjoyed. But best of all - we were unable to source tickets for the Caminito before coming to ardales, and our host was able to make some calls to source some for us for the next day. Obviously this isn't always possible, but it completely transformed our time in Ardales. The Caminito was absolutely splendid of course, and we enjoyed the lakes and the olive oil factory. And ardales is beautiful!

The attention and availability of the owner, cleanliness and peace and quiet.
Far away and without public transport to the caminito del Rey

Great location in town centre and good place to stay to visit Caminito del Rey and surrounding area. Bed was super comfy and had a perfect night sleep, really peaceful place, no noise at all. Much prettier than the photos show with really pretty patio garden and lots of seating areas to relax + lots of facilities in the kitchen if you wanted to cook a meal there is a gas cooker, microwave, fridge freezer + all the cutlery and crockery you would need. Would definitely stay again.
The only difficulty was finding it, was a bit complicated because it is in a blocked off road and parking was a bit complicated in the street. Be careful if you stay on a Thursday night because there is an early morning Friday market and we almost got blocked in the dead end street.

It is within 20 minute drive to the Caminito del Rey. Its 50 m. Repeat 50 from Town square.
Opposite side of rd from Caja and chemist.
