We had a perfect stay! The apartment is immaculate with amazing views and perfectly located. As a family of 7, we all fit very comfortably with everything we needed available. The host was friendly and responsive and got us set up with concierge services to arrange tours and transportation. We truly felt at home, and even though we stayed for a week, we wish we could have stayed longer!

My family of 5 could not have had a better stay in Barcelona. Ventura and Nuria are incredible hosts. They made us feel at home and went over the top to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The condo is modern, clean, and has all the amenities you could ask for. The neighborhood is a perfect central hub for all your Barcelona adventures. If we return to Barcelona we will definitely stay here again.

I have never stayed in a short term rental before, but I am now certain I will have a very difficult time staying in anything less than a five star experience after staying here for two weeks. Clean, lovely, thoughtful and well appointed. Communication was timely and kind. We will most definitely return!

from the beginning this was an amazing stay.. our host was present , approachable, honest so communicative.. i cant say enough about him.. the apartment was perfectly located, completely and thoroughly well stocked and appointed , modern and beautiful.. this was a perfect stay.. there was two amazing bedrooms .. the only negatives are that the two extra bedrooms are just 2 twin sized beds arranged in an L... great for kids .. not so much if there are 3 adult couples.. kitchen and common areas were great, bathrooms were great.. there was even a jacuzzi tube in the masterbedroom. there was a small balcony across the street from casa botelo... we will return here.. maybe again and again

The apartment is a modern, clean and extemely well maintained space.
Ventura, the host, went above and beyond any other VRBO hosts from which we rented. He contacted me a few days before arrival and met us in the apartment with maps, brochures, Barcelona travel guides and useful information about the city. He maintained contact regularly with suggestions for local restaurants and day trips out of the city. All of the restaurants Ventura recommended were fantastic and within walking distance. In outfitting the apartment, Ventura had thought of everything, from Nespresso coffee pods to umbrellas for his guests, which we gratefully used during our stay.
The location was ideal; with the metro outside, a bakery around the corner, Casa Batllo across the street and Casa Mila just 2 blocks away.
We will definitely rent this apartment the next time we return to Barcelona.

The 46 was more than we bargained for. Gorgeous, extremely clean, spacious, and perfectly located. We especially loved listening to the children playing in the « backyard ». The beds were the best beds I have EVER slept in. There is no possible way that you could be disappointed at the 46.

My family of 5 just enjoyed the perfect stay in this unit! (3 kids between ages 9 and 13.)
The location is fantastic, the unit is beautiful, and everything is as described in the listing. In fact, I would say the actual unit is better than the sense you get from the listing, when you consider all of the intangibles.
Everything is close by, with subway station / taxi stand / 24 hour market all within literally 100 yds of the front door. The unit is very nicely furnished, like a luxury hotel - from little touches like coffee/tea to beverages to even the quality of the towels.
We would not hesitate to stay here again!

This property is amazing in every way. Ventura has thought of every possible need of his guests. Everything was perfect from the decor, the layout, the amenities, the location and, of course, the view. I was amazed at how quiet it is inside the apartment. We have stayed in many short term, luxury rentals in the US and Europe and this was by far my favorite. It is an incredible value. We hope to be return.

Overall, everything was terrific. If we needed anything , the host took care of it for us. The 3 times a week for someone to clean the unit was fantastic we stayed for about 27days, and very happy with the decision . My only suggestion is for the future VROB listing to mention that two of the four bedrooms are really for children , very small.

This review will only contain superlatives- because it was perfect . The location could not be better- even better than the Mandarin Oriental in the next block, because you get a free sound and light show every night from Casa Batllo across the road. The facilities were excellent, and Ventura was a super host, making suggestions for eating out and places to visit. We intend too make it an annual trip, that´s how good it was.

One of the most carefully and conscientiously appointed properties I have ever stayed at, perfectly located in the golden heart of Barcelona. Not a single detail was missed in this beautiful home.
Its beauty only surpassed by the incredible hospitality of the owner, not just ensuring we were comfortably settled, but being our guardian angel and host - throughout our short trip constantly checking up to ensure everything was ok, and offering suggestions.

FORTYSIX was the perfect place for our visit. Ventura and Nuria were amazingly welcoming hosts and thought of every detail to make our stay relaxing. The decor is chic and comfortable. Some wonderful restaurants and bars within short walks were Vinitus, Tapas 24, Batea and Banker’s Bar. Easily walkable to the Gothic quarter and Picasso Museum. Highly recommended!

This property is unbelievable, exceeding my expectations in every way!! Not only is everything perfect with every upgrade I could think of it’s also brand new! When you enter the view of Casa Baltto will blow your mind. The other best thing was our host Ventura! His hospitality was amazing meeting us for check in and walking us through every part of the property the neighborhood etc. He provided multiple recommendations of places and restaurants and every one was exceptional! Not only that but he then sent everything through WhatsApp so we would remember them all.

Our family of four enjoyed our stay at The Forty Six. Ventura went out of his way to ensure that we were comfortable. The property was centrally located to all of the landmarks we visited, and large enough for us to spread out after a long day of sightseeing. And Rodrigo, the doorman, was so kind. If we find ourselves in Barcelona again, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay at The Forty Six again.

We were two families, four adults and five children whose ages ranged from 9 to 14. This apartment was perfectly suited. There were two master suites. One of the suites had a pull out couch where the littlest child slept. The other two bedrooms had two twin beds.
This apartment is amazing, the AC worked wonderfully and was available room by room. The kitchen was perfectly equipped and the living room, comfortable. The view from the apartment is a Gaudi building. You cannot beat the location, right by the subway, and in the middle of great shopping, good tapas and food. It was an easy 20 minute walk to the old Gothic part town and most of the museums.
Ventura went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable in the home. He provided restaurant recommendations and was an easy host to communicate with. We would love to come back to Barcelona, and this would be the place where we would stay, hands down!

My husband and I stayed here for a week with our 2 adult boys, and it was a wonderful get away. The apartment is in pristine condition (all furniture and everything is spotless and perfect). Ventura (the owner) had even put fresh flowers in vases throughout (including in each of the bathrooms). The location of the apartment cannot be beat - walking distance to everything and very safe. We will certainly return.

First off all the awesome reviews about Ventura and the Forty Six are 100% TRUE. He is helpful, gracious, polite and interested in his guests having an amazing experience at the Forty Six and all of Barcelona. Ventura’s home has been in his family for generations. The view and location are extraordinary! The beds and pillows and comforters are all very comfy. The kitchen, living space, from the lighting to AC to couches and chairs are all stellar. You absolutely should stay here. Excellent neighborhood with great restaurants, hotel rooftop bars, unique shopping ,and walkability to the Gothic area & El born are all convenient. Ventura’s recommendations are all spot on- We enjoyed the Sagrada Familia Batllo Caso, Park Güell, the Barcelona Cathedral rooftop, Fat Tire nighttime bike ride, Flamenco dancing- Gilda Tapas Vintus Tapas, Sensi Tapas & Barconeleta Beach. The National Archive Museum is a must see. The city, Arts, Architecture and People of Barcelona are all beautiful as is The Forty Six - Thank you for a fantastic Mothers Day and for my husband and I celebrating our 60th Bowith our 3 son’s & daughter in law - Cheers

If you’re thinking of booking this VRBO…do it! The location is centrally located and walking distance to everything in the city. While on the bustling Paseo de Gracia street it’s central to the action and once inside it’s a quiet beautiful luxury oasis—with a view of a beautiful Gaudí home. It has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay in the city. It’s true to the description and we felt like we were staying in a 5 star hotel.

Now that you've found The Forty Six, you can stop looking. This apartment is the perfect place to stay in Barcelona. The location and view are spectacular, and the neighborhood is wonderful--there is no shortage of places to eat. It is very spacious, our family of seven adults enjoyed its roominess. The gourmet kitchen was a real treat even for just drinks and snacks.We often stopped back between activities to recharge, and it was great to talk over what we had done and what we still planned to do. Ventura has thought of everything you might need--even plug adaptors! There are plenty of guidebooks and informational books available for your use. Ventura is very friendly and knowledgeable, and he responds to queries just about immediately. He and Nuria have done a top-notch job of providing a luxurious, welcoming home in Barcelona. A dream apartment in a dream city. We didn't want to leave!

This apartment and location are AMAZING! The apartment is absolutely beautiful. It has exquisite finishes, super comfortable beds, top of the line linens, and everything you could want or need in the kitchen. The location is perfect. Close enough to walk to almost everything and a cab line only a block away for places that are a little too far to walk. The apartment faces a bouvelard with a spectaular view of Casa Batllo. Great for sipping coffee or wine by the window. Ventura and Nuria truly care about the experience of their guests. They went above and beyond in sending us recommendations during our stay according to our interests. We always felt we could shoot them a text for questions or advice, and we always received a quick response. They even helped us book airport transport that went off without a hitch. This apartment is truly a 5 star experience and the only place we'd stay when visiting Barcelona! We hope to visit again in the future!

Decorated with a sophisticated eye, the apartment was beautifully laid out with everything we could ask for and more. We enjoyed long days exploring the city but we’re always thrilled to return home. Where to begin? Communications with Ventura in the months leading up to our visit were always timely and accurate. Our arrival ,coming from a 10 day cruise , was flawless. Ventura arranged for our pick-up at the pier with a huge vehicle to handle 8 adults and way too much luggage. He personally was waiting for us on the sidewalk and assisted with our luggage. The next hour was spent with an extremely thorough tour of the apartment and all of its gadgets. Ventura responded immediately to our texts; his restaurant and shopping recommendations were perfect. I have saved the apartment for last. It was huge, immaculate, and located in the very best part of Barcelona. All of the very modern touches worked perfectly. The location is perfect for every part of Barcelona that you’d like to see. Everything is within walking distance. Everything was flawless! They were still cleaning it when we arrived, we were early but they had offered to store our luggage. We had quite a bit of luggage & they took it all upstairs while we went out to venture about Barcelona. When we met Ventura to check in and have him show us the apartment, we were simply amazed. Exactly as pictured! Stunning apartment, stunning views, perfect location & felt totally safe. Security of the apartment is perfect & easy to use. When leaving apartment, you hit "goodbye" on security & everything locks up tight. I would highly recommend this property without a single reservation. Anytime we had a need we would message Ventura and he responded in a very timely manner. The view of Gaudi's Casa Batllo are the best! They have a big window that swings open, every night we'd pull the dining room chairs up and gaze at the amazing wonder all lit up. I cannot say enough nice things about this host and the fabulous apartment!
