Nice view but a lot of work
The view from this rental unit's terrace is beautiful, with a moody ocean close in and Mt Vesuvius and Naples in the far distance. We stayed here for eight nights and enjoyed our stay except for three main issues.
First, this rental unit is a studio not a one bedroom. When searching the VRBO website for a rental, we used a filter to exclude studios. We were successful in this exclusion except for this one property, which is mischaracterized.
Second, the property description makes no mention of the 103 steps from the road at the bottom of the cliff up to the rental unit nor the 77 steps from this unit up to the road at the top of the cliff. One or the other of these flights of steps must be negotiated when accessing or leaving the rental unit. All steps are steep, outdoor, unlit, slippery when wet and very difficult to climb with luggage. Pack accordingly.
Third, the unit has no indoor dining table and chairs, although there is space for them, so it is not possible to eat comfortably nor to spread out travel maps and computers. We ate making do with a coffee table and serving cart.

This charming apartment over looking the shoreline of the Gulf of Naples was so beautiful. The view of Mount Vesuvius was incredible.
The house is lovely. Everything is perfect in side and out. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. It was decorated quite nicely. And the deck was wonderful to sit and eat dinner or breakfast and watch the views.
We would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and families and we would come again.Francesca [the caretaker] was a beautiful friendly young lady who assisted us from the time of arrival until we left. She was available 24/7 if needed. But we did not need her. Everything was perfect.
All communication with Luca (Summer In Italy) and Francesca was perfect. I would use Summer In Italy again and would recommend to others. Thank you for everything.

Paradise
With Mount Vesuvius across the bay and the sunset the views were breath taking. Communication with Francesca was perfect. Lovely person who helped us as soon as we arrived. We had no problems with our stay so need to call her. We had everything we needed. This cozy well furnished apartment is beautiful. We were very happy with our choice stay. Vico Equense is not touristy spot with lovely shopping restaurants and beach. And easy access by train to other areas such as Pompeii and Sorrento..etc my openly advice is by the express train tickets it costs more but well worth the money due to how busy it can be in the summer months.
I would definitely come back.
Thank you Francesca for everything ❤️

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Andreina B
We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Andreina B. The location is perfect. Very quiet but at walking distance from the center and the train station.
The view is wonderful and the house is spacious and nice (except for the kitchen that is small, but that was not a problem). The bed is very comfortable. The only downside for us was the small amount of sunshine on the terrace in October (sun only in late afternoon). This is of course different in summer time when the sun rises higher.
Francesca [the caretaker] was great and welcoming. Everything was perfect.
Everything went very smooth with Summer In Italy.

We visited Casa Andreina B in June 2018 and were delighted by the absolutely stunning sea views during the day (including Mount Vesuvius across the Bay of Naples), which were further enhanced by equally stunning sunsets each evening. The panoramic windows meant that we never closed the curtains, and this pays testament to the exclusivity and total privacy afforded by the location of Casa Andrea B, high on the cliffside above the sea. With two terraces, completely private for our use, we were truly spoilt for choice at meal times and we enjoyed the accommodation so much that we are already considering plans to return next year to this wonderfully located house.
Francesca was a most welcoming and helpful provider. Thank you, Francesca, for enabling us to have such a wonderful holiday!
My wife and I have travelled extensively in Europe, the Caribbean Islands, United States and Canada. In our experience, Summer In Italy has provided unrivalled service in terms of communications and customer care and I should like, especially, to say "thank you" to Luca for the careful, considerate and consistent professionalism you have demonstrated in attending to our needs. Truly, all of our expectations have been exceeded on every front. Thank you!

I can highly recommend Casa Andreina B and spot
I can highly recommend Casa Andreina B and spot (preferably for single persons or couples, families should consider the bigger unit Casa Andreina A). Perfect view and very quiet. However, we have been there before the main season started. This might change the situation if one is looking for a quiet and calm spot. Well, as usual in this area.
Very friendly landlord.
Very good service and communication.

We enjoyed our stay in Casa Andreina B
We enjoyed our stay in Casa Andreina B! Close walking distance to the train station and nice walking distance to the grocery store. The view from the panoramic window is magnificent. Having only one bedroom it's perfect for two persons or a small family, it might be a little too crowded with four adult.
The little harbor and beach have everything we associate to local atmosphere in Southern Italy.
Francesca's welcome and help during our stay was fantastic. She was a big help.
Luca have been every informative, patient and helpful during our booking process.

Great Location; Great View
The service used by the owner provided excellent information prior to arrival, which made it easy to find the person who led us to the property. People should take note of the number of steps from the street that one climbs to reach the apartment. (My count was 98.) We had a car and appreciated having a garage for it. Without a car, there would be a considerable walk to reach the point from which you walk up to the apartment. The apartment itself was very nice. We had difficulty with the internet and with an oven that did not work. Each was given attention by the owner as quickly as one could expect. The town is in a good location for reaching Naples or the Amalfi coast and for hiking or other activities. Seeing Mt. Vesuvius across the bay from the apartment or while dining outside on the patio made the climb to reach the unit worth the effort.

Casa Andreina B is in a beautiful location
Casa Andreina B is in a beautiful location. The views are stunning, a panoramic vista through huge windows, and the apartment it's self is well furnished and very comfortable. The kitchen is little, well little, but you don't go on holiday to do a lot of cooking. There are approximately 95 steps to reach the apartment, but in this part of Italy steps are the norm.
Renato the caretaker was so kind and helpful, nothing was to much trouble for him, he really helped to make the holiday very enjoyable.
Thanks for all the information you sent us. Would recommend Summer In Italy to others, well done.
