EXPERIENCE FRASER ISLAND
Eurong is central (and not tide relevant) to a number of the most beautiful lakes (eg Lake McKenzie, Lake Birrabeen, Lake Boomanjin, Lake Wabby), lush rainforests (eg Central Station) and pure crystal clear creeks (eg palm and fern lined Central Station (Wanggoolba Creek), and the numerous bushwalking trails.
You can enjoy the beauty of the island ranging from desert-like sandblows, unique and awe-inspiring lakes, exploring the many scenic drives on the island, 4WD adventures, and along the eastern beach some attractions are Eli Creek, the shipwreck of the Maheno, Indian Head and Champagne Pools, the coloured sands and all the way to the lighthouse at the far northern tip of the island. During your stay you may get to experience and see some of the wonderful wildlife on the island including turtles, whales, dolphins, stingrays, sharks, dingoes (said to be Australia's purest), and the wonderful birdlife.
*We, Steve and Lisa, live in a small cottage at the back of the property, with a separate entrance and do not share any of the house facilities. We will always be happy to share our extensive knowledge of the island with you!

Hi Lisa thank you for letting us stay, after a week of camping this place was exactly what we needed to just unwind, have some conform for a few days ready and chill with friends without having to unpack all the camping gear. Great location nice quaint place will stay again everything was easy going

It was clean and nice. Good place to stay. However on the last night it was raining and the roof in the main bedroom had a leak. With tiles as floor it was very slippery. The power also went out during the night. I wrote to Lisa to get her view before rating but she did not reply.

Roof leaks in main bedroom. Garden and outside very untidy. Pool was good and in general house was livable.
Owners were accomodating when we needed to have late check out.

Great location, Eurong is perfect spot for all.
House was not like we thought from internet, so much work to be done to bring to a decent standard, unbearably hot and uncomfortable ( no air ) and only ceiling fans in two rooms. So much so we spent most of our time out front on camp chairs where sea breeze was fabulous.
Furnishings below average - we appreciate they are to be upgraded in New Year but it should not have been let that way, but property manager did her best to make the situation best she could for us. Thanks Lisa
Would i stay there again def not. Sadly as if this property has decent facilities we would have revisited for sure.

We had one night at the taxi house. It was handy and well appointed. Lisa was very friendly and helpful and her communication was great

We had a good stay here. The host is lovely and has great communication.
The 'sleep-outs' are inside the building, they are more like mini-bedrooms without doors.
This is a nice budget property with a well equipped kitchen and great water heat and pressure in the shower (note no microwave or electric kettle in kitchen - all heating is gas due to eco electricity supply). There are some maintenance issues, and the outside is a but messy, but the owner is working on them.

The house was very clean and comfortable, especially the beds. The house is also spacious and beautifully decorated. Kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils you would want. The host Lisa was also very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this house.

The house is not flash but given the difficulty of living on Fraser completely off grid it was adequate and satisfied all of our needs. We all enjoyed staying there and it contributed to our short but very fulfilling experience of a world heritage site.

Great location but the house and particularly the yards need work. It was clean inside but lots of stuff laying around outside that could be cleared up. The path in is a bit of a trip hazard. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Property wasn’t what we were expecting photos online out of date house run down which is okay besides that you are paying top $. No on-site parking its on narrow road parking, kitchen needed some container to store food and bbq to small to cook food for 6. Overall we had a great stay house was comfortable with plenty of room for everybody.

Very disappointing,from pictures of it on booking site very different to real life. Yard over grown, pool not operating plus a dead rat in it. Lounges had holes in them , when you sat in them you sunk down as spring are stuffed. Mould on most of ceilings and whole place smelled musty and stale. BBQ only half jets working plus to small for 9ppl to cook on it. The whole place needs a very thorough clean, paint and get rid of the Clutter everywhere. Would never stay there again nor reccommend. Have photos to support the issues raised in this review.

Very tired and basic place. Several holes in lounge. Not light in third bedroom. Doona was smelly. Sheets and towels not included which is a rip off and you need to dispose of your own rubbish. For the price I feel these should be included.

Overall, did not enjoy stay, place was freezing, we sat under blankets on couch it was so cold with no heating I could find. Ran out of hot water after one shower. Ideal for young people wanting to party only. Way too basic for price charged

Absolutely perfect
This was a great place to stay. The owner really did make sure we had all we needed. The space was exactly what we needed with plenty of room for everyone staying without getting underfoot. Such a great location and good privacy. A short walk to the beach and a short walk across the bush to the resort with restaurant, bakery and store. Can’t wait to come back!

Short notice escape
After camp sites closed due to weather we were able to book the taxi house quickly and we were greeted on arrival. Kids loved this house and disappointed they couldn’t use the pool due to crazy weather.

Perfect Fit & Location
Great little house in a fantastic location. We had 4 adults, 2 teenagers & 3 kids stay here. We all fit comfortably with plenty of space. House was very clean & well appointed & the landlords were friendly.
