About this villa rental
Located in Javea, just below the Montgo mountain area, sits this wonderfully spacious six-bedroom villa. Spread over two floors and with a separate apartment, Villa Caroix has been designed with traditional Spanish charm and features exposed beams, elegant archways, and floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors.
The living areas boast extensive facilities and all the modern comforts you could ask for, including air-conditioning, WiFi, and Bluetooth speakers. On the ground floor, the open-plan kitchen is a delight and is fully kitted out with high-end appliances and a sociable dining table. In the morning, enjoy coffee at the breakfast bar or push open the glass doors and step out onto the terrace. You'll feel your spirits lift as you breathe in the scents of jasmine, rosemary, and lavender as they waft across the garden.
Upstairs, a living room and seating area flow seamlessly together and feature whitewashed walls, neutral tones, and cool marble flooring. Both are flooded with natural light and are perfect spots to unwind with comfortable sofas, chairs, large TV, and huge glass doors that offer up stunning panoramic views of the mountain and valley. Off from the living areas, you'll find five serene bedrooms featuring a mix of double and single beds, and all but one with an en-suite shower.
While the interior is gorgeous, the outdoor area is sublime. Take it easy on one of the many terraces and drink in the far-reaching views or step down to the dazzling swimming pool and cool off in the water. To aid relaxation, there's also a hot tub and barbecue area should you fancy eating al fresco. A separate garden apartment is a bonus (ideal for those who want a little more privacy) and features a games room, cinema room, bathroom, kitchen, and double bedroom, plus a glorious terrace with enough seating for everyone.
Kids will also love whiling away the hours in the outdoor games room with its table football, billiards, and darts board or chilling out with music in the tikki house. The property is set in a peaceful location, backed by mountains and close to the popular town of Javea. There is a restaurant within walking distance of the villa, while Javea, with its bars, restaurants, beaches, and coves, is only a 10-minute drive away.

We spent a wonderful 2 weeks with family and friends at this amazing villa. This is one of the best villas I have ever rented. The social spaces are great giving options for the group to be together and spaces for some quiet time. The quality of kitchen and bathrooms excellent. The pool area is fantastic. The locality has a great deal to offer in Javea. We had a fantastic holiday.

Beautiful villa in the foothills of the mountain. The villa was perfect for our needs as a family of 12. Beautiful gardens and good sized swimming pool. The villa was well equipped including outside hot tub, BBQ and fridge. Plenty of outdoor seating for 12.
The drive to Xabia was only 15 minutes with beach and supermarket near by. Local restaurants 5 minute drive away like the Montgo and Gaucho were great too.
Nicci was a great host and very helpful as was John the villa manager.
Would highly recommend

Lack of maintenance of outdoor areas took away from the experience as a whole
The property has a nice setting with lovely views. The house is fairly decent maintained inside but the outside area seems to be lacking care and maintenance and wasn't cleaned properly.
The mattresses on the sun beds were moulded and dirty, there were cigarette butts and other garbage in different places from previous guests, tiles were cracked or missing, a sun bed mattress and the cover for the spa were thrown out into the vegetation outside the property and no-one seemed bothered by it even though we mentioned it. The door leading from the kitchen out onto the terrasse wasn't working properly, so we were informed not to use it. The room underneath the apartment seemed to have mould.
At some point the gas ran out so there was no hot water for a day.

Lovely villa for a family get together
We stayed for a week in August as three families - 6 adults and 6 children. The villa was ideal with a great pool, lovely outdoor eating space and a games room for the children. The grandparents had their own space in the separate studio and the bedrooms in the main villa suited the rest of us perfectly. It’s a car journey into town and beach etc and the villa is up a steep hill so don’t expect to walk anywhere but then again we were happy enough to stay by the pool most days.

Great location, property is looking a tired. Honest review the GOOD, BAD & UGLY
We stayed here with 2 other families from 17th August for 2 weeks 6 adults in total and 7 children ranging from 2-9years. We had high expectations from looking at the online pictures and based on previous reviews and price of the holiday...
The Good
The location is superb. Beautiful, green mountains, 10 minute drive from Aranal promenade and Javea Marina. Fabulous, bars and restaurants, beaches and scenery. Good sized property quaint and quirky with beautiful natural fauna. Plenty of seating and lounges for large groups.
The Bad
Contrary to our understanding of the bedroom layout there are only 5 bedrooms in the main house and 1 additional bedroom 4 storeys below which split our group up which is unfortunate as we all have young families and wanted to be in the same living/sleeping space. On the whole the property is looking its age with outdoor areas, furniture and equipment becoming tired and tatty.
The Ugly
We arrived shortly after a torrential downpour and I am unsure how this effected the turnaround team. But the Inside and outside was filthy! Furniture certainly had not been moved about when cleaning. Floors were ingrained with dirt. Surfaces and fans were dusty. The linen and towels are old , cheap and tatty. We had 2x broken aircon units and a broken shower. Half rolls of toilet roll and soap. Dishwasher was still full when we arrived and not fixed into brackets. No salt or finish provided for the dishwasher or surface cleaner. We found cupboards and outdoor areas stuffed full!! of broken equipment and toys which had not been removed. The pool area and soft furnishings had not be moved or cleaned 75% of the umbrellas were broken. Cutlery and crockery was filthy from previous guests. Our complaints yielded 2 very unhappy cleaners showing face for an hour and pushing a mop around. We were lead to believe that 16 people came in to clean this villa before our stay, all I can say to that is sack the cleaning team it really was unacceptable.
We spent a good portion of our holiday cleaning and tidying to get the villa into a habitable state and can say hand on heart it was cleaner when we left after 2 weeks than when we arrived. Such a shame these are the basics that are not difficult to get right but defiantly tainted our experience.

Absolutely beautiful
We stayed in this beautiful villa with 2 other families and it exceeded all of our expectations. The villa and pool are stunning and extremely well equipped with everything you could ever need - including beautiful pool furniture and a never ending supply of inflatable for the pool. The villa itself is perfect for 3 families as it has 5 bedrooms in the main villa plus an additional 2 in the apartment - we all had our own space but with great communal areas to all come together. The bathrooms are all new and of a very high specification. Java itself is really lovely, great for kids and we found some lovely restaurants which were all very child-firendly.
Overall we couldn't have asked for more and hope to make a return visit very soon.

Perfect large group villa in stunning setting
Hidden gem high up in the hills overlooking Javea. Great facilities for a large group, especially the gardens, pool and Jacuzzi.
A car is essential in order to visit the wonderful town of Javea with its old part, port , fantastic family friiendly beach and many great restaurants. There are also a couple of restaurants within walking distance of the Villa.
We hope to return very soon !!

What a week!
All 15 of us had an absolutely fantastic stay!! The villa is beautifully decorated and well equipped with plenty of space for adults and children alike. The bedrooms were all beautiful as were the en suites/bathrooms. We were thoughtfully provided with both bath towels and pool towels which freed up the towels we had brought along for the beach. The two washing machines within the property were incredibly useful as we were travelling with children.
The kitchen was huge and the bbq area was great for dining in. It felt like a home from home more than a rental as the kitchen had everything you could possibly need!
The garden is beautifully maintained and was in full bloom when we arrived. It was so picturesque! The views from the villa were beautiful. There was plenty of communal space on the top terrace for a bbq or on the lower terrace by the pool table for a g&t or two.
The pool area was brilliant with the kids - we could barely get them out! The jacuzzi was a great addition too.
I would thoroughly recommend a stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Absolute gem
Fantastic villa, location and facilities. The views were amazing, as the the peace, quiet and total seclusion. The only down side is you do need a car (or taxis) to make the most of Javea and both drive ways were a little tight to manoeuvre in and out of. We stayed here for a week and really wish we had stayed a lot longer. We will be back

Absolutely breathtaking villa & amazing facilities
The villa is absolutely stunning - extremely large and spacious but also homely, it has everything that you could possibly need and more. The amazing pool, jacuzzi and various lounges / terrace areas mean that you could easily spend a week just exploring the villa without wanting to leave and see any of the surrounding areas! The setting with the Montgo mountain and vast panoramic views are seriously breathtaking - and this all comes with complete peace, total bliss and exactly what we were hoping for.
We did manage to tear ourselves away on occasion and were so impressed with the idyllic Javea old town, Arenal beach and bars and also the Port area restaurants..... we feel like we hardly scratched the surface but began to know our way everywhere by the end which proved what an ideal location this is.
It was our first family holiday (which included three generations) and each and every person was devastated to have to leave - we had such an amazing experience and where you are based here was the foundation of it all.
100% guaranteed to return to the area and specifically this very villa - we have already recommended it to everyone that we know!! If you are considering it I would not hesitate, it exceeded our very high expectations and more.

Perfect for a family gathering
8 adults and 7 young children stayed in this idyllic property to celebrate a " special " birthday. The facilities and location matched the expectations generated by the villa description and visitor reviews. The available space meant we were never on top of each other. The amenities of Xabia are close at hand though it is all too easy to laze by the beautiful pool . I would unhesitatingly recommend this villa.

Look no further !!
The pictures on the site look good but the villa, apartment and huge outside areas are so much better and bigger than we anticipated. My wife and I stayed here with our three children and our friends with their four! This is the first time we've all been away together and not stayed in a hotel, so we were a little concerned. We needn't have worried as staying here was like staying in your own 5 star boutique hotel.
Both properties are furnished to an exceptional standard. The facilities inside and out are equally impressive with wireless music systems in many rooms, 100's of books and DVD's to chose from and an array of toys for children and adults. There are three huge and separate terraces to chose to relax on; the outside dinning area which is nice and shaded, the pool and jacuzzi enormous setting, and the apartments terrace (the adults favourite that looks up to the national park and mountain backdrop that really is like a film set and down across the savanna to the sea in one direction and mountains to the other).

Amazing!!
Truly wonderful villa in amazing location and grounds. We've never been to Javea before and will almost certainly return as it's fantastic place for a big family like ours, great restaurants and bars at the beech and port areas and exceptional peace and quiet at this huge and wonderful villa. When we come back we will book this villa, it's perfect. Close enough to all the attractions of Javea but situated far enough way for views to die for and total peace and quiet

WOW!
WOW, what a fantastic place. The Villa is amazing, such a large space and with everything you need to make it a comfortable stay.
The pool area was a huge hit with the kids and we spent many hours enjoying splashing around whilst taking in the fabulous views. It's close enough to the wonderful town of Javea with so many great restaurants and a lovely beach thats great for small children. However it's far enough away to appreciate the peace and quite of this beautiful mountain location. Truly was the best of both worlds and we are already booked again for 2017.

Absolutely stunning villa - fantastic holiday
It was a real pleasure to stay in this villa, it has everything you could possibly need in a beautiful setting. There were 3 generations of us (12 in total) ranging from 4 to 80 and plenty room for all of us. The pool and Jacuzzi are great, the house has plenty of traditional features with modern equipment and bathrooms. The gardens are beautiful and sitting in the outside area in the evening you could be on the balcony of a luxurious hotel. Just relaxing in the villa was wonderful, and there were games, pool and darts for the kids (and adults), a great book and DVD collection and a fantastic kitchen and bbq. We hired a car and visited the local area and beaches, plenty of restaurants in town and near by. The villa is on a steep hill, but if you are OK with the walk there are a number of good restaurants on the road at the bottom. I would highly recommend staying here - it even nicer than the pictures.

Wonderful Villa
The villa was wonderful - the best property we have ever stayed in and the perfect place to relax when not walking. We particularly loved the pool and the outside eating area ( we only ate out twice in the Montgo Restaurant especially liking the spinach crepe and the paella). Best was the walk from the Gerro Tower to Javea Port and back to Denia by boat. And the weather was fantastic.
Thank you for all the help you gave in making this a very special holiday.

We have had a wonderfull holiday in this villa. Great views, tastefully and completely furnished, very privat and quiet, a lovely (heated !) swimming pool and also a lovely jacuzzi (10 points); a beautiful garden with delicious oranges, grapefruits and lemons. We enjoyed all ! And...excellent support by Darren. We all love the place. A place to go back to.

Wow
Wow. A real top class home from home. Amazing location, villa, grounds and that pool! As much as Javea and the surrounding area has to offer, we found it difficult to drag ourselves away from this truly wonderful retreat. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to anyone

Fabulous!
This is so much more than just a big house with a pool (as many villas holiday can be).
We booked on recommendation, looking for a very large villa capable of housing our extended family (12, over 3 generations) requiring ample space, a central location and enough indoor and outdoor “rooms” for some of us to find some quiet space when required. The combined properties (main house and apartment) with its spectacular grounds and pool were perfect. So much space.
The very well equipped and designed summer kitchen was the inside focal point but normally we were scattered about the grounds either by the pool, sat on the upper terrace at that enormous table or through the gate way into the huge apartments terrace. We didn’t even use the main living room up stairs of the villa (despite the breathtaking views) or the up stairs kitchen (which we understand fromn Darren is to be turned into a 5th Bedroom up stairs). Although the grandchildren loved the apartments huge “games room” where they could find space to play, watch films, play pool and generally do what teenagers do we older ones meant to adjurn there in the evening, never quit made it!
You do require a car to say here and our only slightly negative comment is that both the electric gates (one to the main house and the separate apartment) are quite tight to access until you get used to them. We had 3 cars in our group and although there was more than enough room to park all three in the drive ways we did leave one car on the road. This property sits at the top of what we called the Javea Hollywood Hills so almost no passing traffic and no road noise to spoil the tranquility
My husband and I have especially found memories of sitting in the shade right at the top of the garden, looking down over all our family playing on the pool during the day and again at sun set time with a few G&T’s.

Superb Villa and Holiday
We booked this villa for two families of 6 adults and 8 children (age range 3 to 14) due to the photos and descriptions on the website, so we had high expectations. The best news is they really didn't do this property any kind of justice. Better still were the grounds made up of three fabulous and huge patios that were positioned in different parts of the grounds. All were boarded by beautify coloured flowers and plants and natural and beautiful grounds. From the inside to out this is a truly wonderful property.
Darren who manages the property was also very helpful meeting us at the property, showing us around and recommending many great local places to visit and eat in
A beautiful traditional villa of a very high standard in an unbelievable location
Thanks for a great Holiday

Idyllic, well equipped villa in a fabulous locatio
Great villa, lovely setting, completely secluded but 10 minutes from a range of amenities and less than an hour from Alicante Airport.
We would definitely recommend this villa, perfect for families and children. The villa had everything we needed, is beautifully furnished and maintained. It really felt like a home from home. Our party was 4 adults and 6 children and we all felt as though we had our own space but were drawn to the summer kitchen and pool area, the real heart of the villa. We enjoyed bbqs and lunch by the pool and the fabulous views were amazing, particularly to see the Fireworks at New Year.
There are a couple of great bars and restaurants in the area and it's only a ten minute drive to the town with beaches, restaurants, shops and a lovely historic old town.
