This property was conveniently located, clean and comfortable. We were pulling a trailer and there was some confusion about parking but it all worked out in the end.

Prefect location with a view of the water. Easily walk to restaurants, shops, aquarium and the water. Very comfortable and all of the antiques in the home were an added bonus.

Location of the property was perfect to walk around. Older quaint apartment perfect for what we were looking for near the water and town. A 20 min walk to the port for marine tours if you don’t want to drive and right next to the marine wildlife center. Gas grill is on the ground floor and this unit is upstairs if you choose to use it.

Location and apartment were lovely. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped.
All of us enjoyed our stay!

Would've enjoyed some place to sit outside.

Loved the location, 2 blocks from the historic area of Seward. Short walk to the inlet and the sealife park. Only down side thing was we couldn't figure out how to turn the heat on to take the slight chill out of the air. We did find an electric oil heater to use.

Great accommodation! Excellent location, clean,, spacious, and comfortable. Smooth self check in. Walkable everywhere in town. Everything as advertised. We stayed in upper unit. Friendly hosts. We loved it!

We enjoyed our time here. All of the historical items around the location were a neat way to glimpse into the past. We only had a short stay ourselves, but enjoyed the time in the unit and the area.

This house couldn’t have a better location. It was clean and charming with all of its history. However, although the house was from 1905- I was not expecting the mattresses to be from the same era. The mattresses and pillows in this house desperately need replacing. Also, there really is not much point in having a bedside lamp and clock if they are not plugged in and no extension cord is provided.

Again, Tanguy has aided us in creating great family memories and a comfortable stay. He worked with me in figuring out how to accommodate us and I truly appreciate it. Mostly everything we needed to cook and get cozy was provided, the view as always, soothing and the location unbeatable.

Great location and place to stay in Seward. It's right across the street from the bay. The historic decor is fun too.

Everything was as advertised. Great location. Walked to Resurrection Bay both nights for boat watching and to watch the fishermen on shore. Great meals at local restaurants close by.

First time to Alaska and Seward definitely has all things Alaska. Stayed all 7 days in this town and each day was a new adventure. Even just the Sea Life center was a favorite. The water is within site of this place, walking distance to everything. Absolutely the perfect place. Clean, plenty of room and perfectly located in town. Thankful we found this gem and highly recommended. Hosts also are very helpful on local advice.

The place worked good. But the listing has the wrong address & the property manager never returned our 3 calls requesting how to put the heat on & what the Wi-Fi code was.
We did find the code on a slip of paper by the tv & did get some heat. Also, the text symbol for the property manager does not work. So no texting.
The view is great & eventually everything worked.

Conveniently located, Walking distance to the harbor, the sealife center, and downtown restaurants. Interesting decor, lots of antiques. Good selection of spices and condiments, as well as coffee and tea. There is no dishwasher, so if you plan to cook much, be prepared to wash dishes.

We truly felt like we'd been living in Alaska for two weeks. My friend and I absolutely fell in love with everything little Seward had to offer, and by visiting in September we avoided both bugs and crowds. Tanguy was a wonderful host! Nancy and Betty

This property was surprisingly better than the pictures. We used the well-equipped kitchen for breakfast and lunch prep. We had a great stay.

Great Location
Walking distance to SeaLife Center and Library & Museum . A block away from gift shops, health food shop and restaurants. About 5 blocks from the Marine Harbor where we took several fishing charters.
Seward is a cute little small town with 1 grocery store

very unique place
What fun to stay in such a unique place. It was clean and in a great location. Unfortunately, it was rainy the entire time we were in Seward.

Seward Stay
The property has a unique feature as it looks like a historical building. The owner took an effort to decorate the place with some old artifacts to highlight the past splendor. The kitchen is small and the cabinet is crappy. The bedrooms are ok size-wise, but the mattresses are saggy. My friend said that she found hair on her bed sheet. The bathroom is remodeled and clean. In short, we think the place is acceptable for a short stay.

Charming historic house that has been lovingly restored. We appreciated the location so close to the bike path and a block away from the downtown area. Place was clean and comfortable. If you are looking for something out of the ordinary and more unique than a boring hotel room, I'd highly recommend staying here!

Historic property in the heart of Seward
Location is superb just off business area within easy walking distance to restaurants, waterfront, etc. Renovated (some things still in progress- i.e. stairway) upper level in historic home. Lots of interesting artifacts used in decorating. Classic L/R furniture wasn’t comfortable seating for four. We struggled with TV remotes but figured it out. We loved Seward and this was a great location for us.

Historic Home - Comfy & Walk to Everything!
Such a sweet place to stay while in Seward. Wonderful vintage property with large living area, kitchen with every gadget needed for home cooking, modern bath and great beds & linens. Tanguy was out ahead with instructions & recommendations so the in and out was easy and no hassle. We walked to everything - Resurrection Coffee House, Cookery and even the kayak adventure we'd booked. No place better to stay!

Perfect location
Great second floor flat with comfortable bed and enough kitchen supplies with which to cook. Interesting historic memorabilia decorating the space. Perfect location in a drop dead beautiful town!

Unbeatable location
My family enjoyed our 3 nights of stay greatly. The telegraph house is located in an unbeatable location, very close to the sea and park, walking distance to Sealife center, away from the busy harbor area. We enjoyed our evening strolls after dinner and kids loved the playground near the park. The property has lots of historical marks. Kitchen is a bit outdated we got used to it very quickly. Bathroom is spacious and very nice. The owner is very responsive to questions and did a great job making sure the place is well maintained.
