Great house, kids and adults really enjoyed their stay, fantastic location next to the beach, Maria is a fantastic and receptive host, we truly had a wonderful time and would go back there.

We stayed here with two families with little Kids. The House was very spacious and had everything you need. A lovely garden with a nice and clean Pool was great to spend some time. Really gorgeous was the beach,though, and it is only 5 min walk through the dunes!

We had a lovely stay in the house. It is totally equipped and has lots of room for big families. The location is superb, just around the corner is a beautiful beach, where you can walk for kms…very nice….

The house was perfectly located within 5 minutes of the Atlantic beach and was perfect for our family. The children enjoyed the pool and the swings in the garden. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook during your stay and includes a Nespresso coffee machine. Our host Maria Jose made sure that everything was perfect upon arrival and was available for any questions during our stay- We would definitely stay there again!!!

Perfect place, you never need to leave the house, except to go to the beach. Mrs. Maria Jose and husband have practically anything you need in the house. I would suggest adding some electric fans in the bedrooms to keep away the mosquitoes, which can appear on the odd day the breeze isn't blowing. Wonderful with toddlers, the whole family loved it (12 of us). Maria Jose recommends some restaurants in the area which were excellent.

Maria is a wonderful hostess and we were very touched by her thoughtful gift of local wine! The house is huge and we had lots of room. The pool is massive, sadly it isn’t heated so you do have to steel yourself to get in but the kids didn’t seem to mind too much! The kitchen is very well stocked with all kinds of pots pans blenders mixers etc you could prepare any kind of meal there. The beach is fantastic, pristine white sands and a clear blue ocean only a two minute walk from the villa. There isn’t a lot to do on Troia that’s walking distance in the heat but if you are looking for somewhere to relax then this is ideal I would recommend shopping for food before you get to Troia, the food shops there are limited and very expensive compared to elsewhere. Also the Vasco de Gamma Bridge is usually less busy than the other bridge when driving out of Lisbon We would be happy to return to this little piece of paradise

We had a magical vacation in Troia in large part due to the beauty and comfort of this lovely and functional house. The pictures that captivated us were spot on - spacious bedrooms, outdoor pool with ample garden and an inviting living area with plenty of seating. We were 10 people and there was plenty of room for everyone. Maria Jose is a wonderful host who went out of her way to make us feel at home in her home. What we weren't expecting was the best equipped kitchen we have ever seen! It was a pleasure to plan and make our family meals each day knowing we had every imaginable kitchen accessory and tool at hand! The clincher though was the five-minute walk to a pristine beach. We hope to have the opportunity to return to this fabulous home in the future but will be sure to recommend it to everyone we know in the meantime!
