We have stayed in this house more than once. We find it conveniently located for the Durango, CO and Four Corners region. It is as advertised and communication was easy and responses timely. We recommend you consider this rental.

A REAL GEM OF A HOME IN MANCOS, COLORADO, LOCATED JUST MINUTES FROM MESA VERDE AND CLOSE TO CANYONS OF THE ANCIENTS. 30-45 MINUTES FROM DURANGO AND AN HOUR OR SO FROM BOTH THE FOUR CORNERS REGION AND THE ANCIENT RUINS IN AZTEC, NM, WE EVEN MADE THE LONGER ROUND TRIP TO CHACO CANYON IN ONE DAY. LOVELY PROPERTY ON ACREAGE WITH A POND, HAMMOCK, PADDLEBOARDS AND PADDLEBOAT. THE HOUSE IS 3 BR......PERFECT FOR A FAMILY OR SMALL GROUP OF FRIENDS. WE ALWAYS COOK OUR OWN MEALS WHEN TRAVELING AND THE KITCHEN IS EXTREMELY WELL STOCKED. A WOOD PELLET FIREPLACE IN THE LIVING ROOM HEATS UP QUICKLY. CYNTHIA IS EXTREMELY ACCOMODATING AND RESPONSIVE. THIS HOME IS A REALLY NICE FIND.

We enjoyed our stay so much. We had 2 couples so it was perfect with 2 queen bedrooms and each our own bathroom. We had everything that we needed to cook meals and enjoy downtime but were mostly out taking in the local attractions (DS train, Mesa Verde, million dollar highway and Silverton). The owners were very nice and we enjoyed chatting with them about horses and mules. Some of the decor is family memorabilia. Also it was nice having some staple items in the fridge and cupboards. Overall we would definitely stay there again.

The home and property couldn't have been better. Kitchen was well appointed and maintained. The property is shady and peaceful. Anything we needed was close by, including activities and the airport. We did have to buy a fan as the property does not have air conditioning. We left the fan we purchased, i the home as a "pay it forward."

This well maintained home is very close to downtown Mancos which was important to me. The yard was very nice and open although it did appear that there was some construction going on so we were careful where we walked. The house had everything that we needed.

We had a nice stay in this comfortable home. It was a great place to come back to after a day at Mesa Verde National Park. The check-in and check-out procedures were easy and the communication was good. The area around the house was very nice and well maintained. It was nice to look out and see the green trees and grass. The inside was nicely decorated and taken care of as well.

This is a beautiful home in the perfect setting. We traveled to the area to ride the train to Silverton and also to visit Mesa Verde - we couldn't have asked for a better home base! The house is absolutely beautiful and well stocked! Don't miss out on this one!

This property is a wonderful place to base out of it you're going to visit Mesa Verde or explore the beautiful mountains and valleys of the La Plata and San Juan Mountains. The town of Mancos is just a few minutes down the road and offers a great bakery for breakfast and Olio's for dinner.

The home was super clean and there was plenty of room. The kitchen was well supplied and we felt completely comfortable there. The host lives in the area and was readily available when we had questions about something. We chose Mancos as it was centrally located between Durango and the 4 Corners Region where we had visits planned. It worked out very well for our needs.

We had a wonderful stay. The home is well adorned with everything we needed for a great stay. The only issue we had (a space heater that wasn't working) was quickly addressed and resolved. This property is a great place to stay and a great location for a launch pad for any 4 Corners vacation.

The only thing that I didn’t like is the lack of kitchen cookware. No sauce pan to cook with , skillets were pretty much worn out and hard to cook with. Plenty plates and silver ware. Host was very nice and let me borrow potato masher.

Delightful!

Beautiful and comfortable home. Very spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable and there is a very well stocked kitchen. Great stay for a family of up to 6, with a great outdoor setting. Loved the ease and closeness to Mancos as we have other family that lives in town.

We were sad that we couldn’t find a place in Durango so we “settled”for this place near Mancos…but we quickly realized we WON!! I am so glad we stayed here. The road was a bit noisy but the bedrooms were in the back so it turned out not to be a problem for us. It is such a lovely home!

Loved the outdoor space

The interior was beautifully decorated but the outdoor space was our favorite part. A bubbling brook was just a couple of feet from the back porch. There are lots of trees and a huge shaded lawn for the kids to play in but what they liked the most was the small pond where they could paddle a canoe or paddle boards. I relaxed in one of 4 hammocks while they played. It was just what we needed after driving all day the previous day.

This was a great property with lots of space to spread out from hanging out in the hammocks by the creak, spending time by the pond, saying hi to the Donkey or playing games as a family. It was not far from Durango to enjoy all the activities that Durango has to offer.

We found the property to be just as described. Location is very convenient and centrally located for visits to the Four Comers Region, Canyon of the Ancients and Hovenweep, Mesa Verde N.P, and Durango (and up the Millions Dollar Highway). Owners were very responsive and helped with our special requests. We recommend you consider this rental property when visiting southwest/central Colorado.

One of the nicest places we've stayed. Clean and quiet yet close to everything in Mancos. Bonus to have a deck that over looks a stream. Nice place to have coffee in the morning or a drink in the afternoon/ evening. Will definitely stay here again.
