About this cottage rental
Sunny Haze is a spacious 1,100sf cottage sitting up on a hill with a large covered porch, living room and master bedroom. This cottage offers all the comforts of your home away from home on a beautiful and secure street in Rainbow Bay. Boasting a large Master Bedroom with en-suite bathroom overlooking the deck and a large 2nd bedroom with Guest bathroom you have plenty of comfort space. The open floor plan concept in the living room, dining room and kitchen allows for great memories to be made. Kitchen has a mini RO for drinking water.
The street is lined with coconut trees and bougainvillea trees providing a tropical feel to the surrounding area. This cottage is great for families, kids, couples or singles. Rental cars can be arranged with pick up and drop off to the North Eleuthera or Governors Harbour airports. Just a brisk 5 minute walk find a beautiful and secluded beach called Twin Beach through the cliff face on the Atlantic side. Access only on calm days at low tide.

Upon check in, the key was exactly where Briana said it would be so getting in to the unit was a breeze. This is our third trip to Eleuthera and we stayed both previous times on the water at Ten Bay. We wanted to go a bit more budget friendly this trip and booked this charming in-land unit in the friendly community of Rainbow Bay. We had every basic necessity we needed. Everything worked and Briana was amazingly fast with any inquiry we had…and acted immediately on a couple of minor issues we had. She provides a starter garbage bag, dish soap, bath soap, toilet paper and paper towels. The only thing that caught us a bit off guard was only having one garbage bag for the 10 days. The renters on the other side of the house offered us an extra one which was all we needed. You are in a large dwelling that has two VRBO units in it. One is on the street side (sunny side) and our unit was in the back in the jungle. The jungle setting was great and gave great privacy. I would stay here again given the cleanliness, location and Briana's responsiveness. Some new pots and pans (they are showing their age) and a larger water heater would be appreciated as we ran out of hot water one morning thanks to the other renter. You don't hear anything from the other unit so it is VERY quiet. Driveway is a bit narrow but accomodated our SUV. Keep a flashlight handy for those power outages. We had a few but they were short lived. Thanks for providing a great place to stay!

Sunny Haze is just as described. A lovely cottage in a quiet community. Great for couples, business travelers and families. Fully equipped with all modern amenities for comfort, a/c, internet, full kitchen, washer and dryer and TV worked perfectly during our stay. Grateful there wasn’t any power outages whiles we were there as it was hot but the cottage was nice and cool. It wasn’t difficult to find, the roads are unpaved so proceed cautiously. Communication with the homeowner was easy. My family was very pleased with this rental.
I gave it 4 stars because there was a little challenge with our check in process. Which I’ve been advised was not usual with this rental.
We arrived at the rental two hours after check in time and the keys were not in place. Reached out to the homeowner who communicated with caretaker and he brought the key an hour later and apologized repeatedly for it. It was a bit of an inconvenience for us as we had to shower and get ready to attend my Aunt’s Memorial service in another settlement. Because of this we arrived late and missed most of the service. Besides this situation there wasn’t any issues with this rental. Would we stay again - of course. Would we recommend it to others - most definitely!

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay at Sunny Haze in Eleuthera. The host provided us with detailed instructions about the location which we appreciated as it was our first time on the island. The cottage could use better wifi & a beach umbrella/ cooler would have been helpful.

Beautiful, clean and well maintained property. Very spacious with a lovely porch to sit on. Walking distance to some spectacular views of the Atlantic and the breathtaking hidden beach. The hosts were most accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

It was my first stay at Sunny Haze and I will be back! I spent 5 wonderful weeks there. The house, location and neighborhood are a dream!
When I saw the house my first thought was: 100% like in the pictures. Sunny Haze is a dream and offers all the comforts you would want in a rental home.
The view of the Antlantic in the morning at sunrise is gorgeous. Everything you need as basic equipment and utensils is available and in very good condition. You notice the attention to detail immediately upon entering the house: very clean and well maintained.
The caretaker comes by regularly and checks the water tanks and mows the lawn. The neighbors around are very nice and helpful, I met many new and very nice people.
In a few minutes by car you can reach Big Rock, a grocery store that is very well stocked. The location of Sunny Haze is very central if you want to go north or south.
The communication with the owners is very good, they answer very promptly and are very helpful.
I can only recommend Sunny Haze! I felt at home from the first moment I was there. Thanks for everything Brianny, I will definitely come back!

This property was clean and well kept up. It’s located in a very quiet neighborhood and is only blocks from the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Ocean. The deck had seating and it was a nice place to sit for nice breezes and views of the Atlantic. Air conditioners in each room was nice on days that were hot and humid.
Our contact Brianna was quick to respond to questions and assistance when needed.
Four of us stayed here for a month.

Really lovely home
(Sorry to be so late to review, we stayed in April, 2022) The home is perfect, quiet and in a lovely area; the only issue we had was the distance from everything. But the drive - up north and down south - was always beautiful. We crossed the Glass bridge many times, always a pleasure. I would stay here again, the price really helped keep our costs in check.

We enjoyed our visit to Rainbow Bay. The cottage was clean and comfortable. A new frying pan would be nice. We walked to Hidden Beach but couldn’t find a way to access the beach. The host was very nice and we enjoyed communicating with her. Thanks for everything!

Property was clean and the property managers were responsive, but they need to provide a generator. Due to a storm the power was out for over 20 hours. The lack of power meant no water as it was controlled by pump - not a good situation for a family of four. Otherwise an enjoyable stay.

It was a delightful place to stay and was a perfect location. Didn't want to leave!
Vert clean and quite comfortable. Deck was perfect for evening hangout. Great walk to stunning cliffs and waves. Only suggestion would be to leave more toilet paper and salt and pepper!

Peaceful paradise
House was very clean, large rooms, comfortable living space and shaded porch with table to have meals. We spent a lot of our time outside during daylight hrs as House is dark, we didn’t mind this as it was a nice escape from the heat. We loved the neighborhood. The beaches that are within walking distance are small but so interesting, we’ll worth exploring. We loved smugglers beach that is very close, big parking area if you’d rather drive, it’s a 10 min walk.
Loved having the beach chairs and towels, we loaded the car each afternoon and camped out on a different beach. Thanks for a wonderful get away, I’d stay here again.

Cute cottage - nice and clean
The cottage was very nice - modernized and very clean. It was a bit more remote than I had pictured and there really was no real beach within walking distance as advertised, at least not an accessible one that I could find. It is the back of an adjoining house, which wasn't a problem at all. The residents in the front house were very nice. Communication with Briana was great and she responded to questions quickly. Cottage had most everything needed for a stay, but little things could have made a big difference, for example, having gas in the bbq tank ready to go would have been very appreciated. I understand not required, but appreciated. Briana recommended some restaurants for lunch, but it would have been great to know that most local places/restaurants are closed this time of year - I would have planned ahead a bit better. Housekeepers showed up at the end as expected and were super nice. All in all a great place to stay and a great time was had in Eleuthera.

Sunny Haze review
This property was on par for the rental price. It is the back half of a 2 house unit, which was not a problem at all. The house was nice, clean and equipped with all we needed for a weeks stay, enjoying beaches every day. The only thing we couldn’t find there was a cooler to take to the beaches, but we were innovative and that wasn’t a problem. All in all a great place for the price.

Clean and Reasonably Priced
We enjoyed our stay. Rainbow Bay is a great area if you like long walks or runs on side streets overlooking the Atlantic or Caribbean. Rainbow Bay Inn Pizza is excellent. Really liked our short but nice stay.

My stay at Sunny Haze was amazing. It's the second time I've stayed and the experience is always the same. The apartment is beautiful, spacious, clean, and has everything you need. It's like a home away from home just in an exotic place. It's close to the sea and in a quiet but scenic neighborhood. You can simply drive around the neighborhood and find at least three beautiful beaches.
The property contacts are swift in answering any questions you may have. You definitely get a bang for your buck when you stay at Sunny Haze.

Centrally located, comfortable, cute vacation home!
My husband and I stayed at Sunny Haze for over a week. It was amazing and just the relaxation we needed! We felt it was centrally located on the island - Preachers Cave/Sapphire Hole was about 45 mins north and Governors Harbor was about 45 mins south. We were able to do a lot of exploring! There’s also a beach within walking distance from the house and Rainbow Bays public access beach was just a short drive. The house was very comfortable, clean and cozy! I have already recommended this place to family and friends who are considering a vacation on Eleuthera. We hope to return in the future and would be thrilled to stay here again!

Fabulous base for exploring Eleuthera
We loved our week at Sunny Haze. The house itself is beautiful and seems brand new--all the appliances, furniture, and finishings are in top shape. It is well-stocked with beach gear (brand new chairs, umbrellas, snorkels), linens (plenty of towels), utensils and cooking supplies.
As other reviewers have noted, this unit shares a property with another rental (Sandy Toes). We occasionally heard the other renters from our living room, but never from the bedrooms. Also note that this unit is in the back of the house and receives little natural light (and not much of a view). We did not mind these at all, as we were always out exploring during the days. We would absolutely stay here again!
