Exceptional place with such a nice and helpful host. Cider and bread and loads of information about the area was available at arrival. Wonderful outdoor space with beautiful flowers.

Superb accommodation. Could not be faulted for comfort or cleanliness. Super comfy beds, large fluffy towels, lovely friendly host, great bathrooms, quality linen and nothing else needed. Washing machine, dishwasher and everything in good condition, clean and tidy. Initial supply of dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and toilet rolls. Would thoroughly recommend this cottage and Penny is a charming host.
Would have liked some baking sheets for the oven.

The location was lovely beautiful and so peaceful
and quiet. Loved the patio area with the doors opening on to it. Lovely flowers left on table and so
thoughtful to leave us a couple of drinks too!

Everything!!! The attention to detail in these cottages are literally home from home, everything is absolutely catered for, from garden furniture, dishwasher, excellent water pressure in shower, kitchen/diner and comfortable lounge with all T.V. channels. Penny the owner left us fresh bread/butter, homemade marmalade and tea n coffee and fresh milk in fridge. It's so peaceful all you hear is birds and the occasional cow mooing!!! Local pubs absolutely lovely.
Nothing!!!! Can't wait to recommend to friends and family and hope to return in the future x

Nice and peaceful, plenty of space too. Parking right outside. Friendly people. Great patio outside--self contained so fine for toddler to run around. Good bathrooms. Would have attempted to extend stay if work had permitted.

The property is beautiful, modern and clean. Penny, the owner, was there to greet us, and welcomed us into Cider Apple Cottage. We had a lovely courtyard garden with a table and chairs, plus sun loungers. The kitchen and lounge areas were like a home from home and the bedrooms were modern and comfortable.

We stayed in Cider Apple Cottage. There were 4 of us and it exceeded our expectations. The cottage was spacious, finished to a very high standard and beautifully decorated. It was also very well equipped, there was nothing they hadn't thought of. Many thanks to Penny and David for making our break so memorable, as we got to experience their lambing season. It was extremely informative and we got to see newly born lambs, which was wonderful. Wonderful hosts, thank you very much. Highly recommended.
Nothing at all.

The location was brilliant, the cottage that that wow factor!
It's a short drive into the village of Wedmore which has some lovely pubs and a great village shop, further out you are only a 15min drive from the wonderful Cheddar Gorge (we'd defiantly recommend the Bath Arms for Sunday lunch) and Wooky Hole which are great for the kids to explore and learn about our countries ancient history.
We would 100% recommend and come again.
Nothing, it was great

What a fantastic cottage. We absolutely loved our stay. It is beautifully decorated, really comfortable with perfectly functioning amenities, fully stocked with kitchen equipment and the owner went above and beyond and provided a loaf of bread, milk, butter and some cider. I wish I could have stayed for longer and will definitely return.

A really stunning and beautiful cottage. Done up to a wonderful standard and the setting is amazing too. Everything you could possibly need is in the property to make your stay feel like home. Highly recommend this cottage to anyone thinking about visiting this part of the UK.
Nothing! Just wished we had come in the summer so we could have enjoyed the wonderful garden area.

The cottage is quite remote but the setting is beautiful. It is exceptionally well equipped for a self catering stay. The owners have added lots of thoughtful touches - even hot water bottles. Just lovely.
