Beautiful Location
We drove from Christchurch to spend a week at Parapara beach. No one in the group had spent much time in Golden Bay. We found the location beautiful. Parapara beach is a special place. It’s very relaxed and peaceful. The beach is very shallow and lovely for wading around in the shallows.
The bach itself was lovely. Kiwiana with a modern twist. Very warm and functional. There were some ants, but this wasn’t an issue for us as we had access to two large fridges so all food could be stashed in there. I would recommend bringing your own drinking water, I probably didn’t read the fine print and didn’t know about this when we arrived.
The beds were comfortable and clean. We would definitely recommend this place and stay here again in the future. We can’t wait to come back.

Perfect location, 1 minute from the beach with everything you need. No wifi and slightly inconsistent internet signal but not an essential!

Lovely, well located bach.
A really nice bach, very close to the beach (all but beach-front). Clean with good bathroom and kitchen. Only downside was the lack of shade outside. Had a lovely stay.

Great winter getaway
We had a lovely time in Parapara, the bach was perfect for a few days away. A classic bach with some tasteful modernisations. Good value and a cozy fire. Kettle could do with de scaling particularly as you can only drink boiled water.
We would love to come back again as the size and location are great. If you haven’t stayed at Parapara book it now, its lovely!!
Thanks Rob,Jae and Olive

Cosy in winter
Very cosy with the log burner and new carpet. (Except the third bedroom had no heating.) Well appointed throughout and we enjoyed the Wasgij puzzle on a rainy day.
Pretty disappointed to not be given a refund when our adult son got sick and couldn't come.

Sunset Bach
We enjoyed staying at this little bach, it was a good for 4 people. Great new decks and new bathroom. We did find it a bit odd when we were yelled at from next door about a stray dog visiting for a few minutes.

Great holiday home - warm and comfy near the beach
We had a great time here in this cute house - been largely refurbished and double glazed, so warm as and clear and tidy. Very close to the lovely Parapara Beach and 4 km to Mussell Inn. Was still completing rennovations, so third bedroom was not available
