About this house rental
Dunsborough is surrounded by the beautiful beaches and calm waters of Geographe Bay, but only a 5 min drive to the other side of Cape Naturaliste with the open ocean and great surf of Yallingup Beach, and Margaret River (~25min drive). The outdoor activities are endless & just a short distance away when staying at “Beachscapes”.
This is a fantastic family holiday home, in undoubtedly one of the best locations in Dunsborough, with the beautiful beach and open grassed parkland and children’s playground across the road. We suggest you bring your bikes as there is a great bike path that goes along the waterfront into town and also on to Old Dunsborough, to get up and ride into town for the paper and a coffee. (approx. 10 mins), or to Palmer Winery for lunch.
Suitable for 3 couples, or alternatively a family group, the property is located on a large fully landscaped block with secure backyard, shady peppermint trees, set back from the main road allowing complete privacy.
The open plan living room enjoys a garden outlook through open sliding doors (to the alfresco dining for 8 and Weber BBQ), and glimpses of the sparkling Indian Ocean through a large window at the front of the house. The open plan living area has dining for 8 guests, and a large comfortable lounge area with TV, DVD, and iPod dock. The modern kitchen is amply supplied with everything you could need to cook up a storm, plus a Nespresso coffee machine for that all-important caffeine fix. All bedrooms are presented with comfortable quality beds, fresh new bedding; all linen, towels (excl. beach towel), etc. are supplied and presented for your stay. The master bedroom has a king bed, and has its own door into the bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and a large third bedroom is ideal for 4 children with single beds and a TV for their own private “hang out area”. This bed configuration can be converted to 2 singles (bunks) and 1 king if preferred. There is a travel cot and high chair provided at the property for littlies.
The bathroom is nice and modern, with shower recess, vanity and toilet. It has dual doors, making it accessible via the living area when locked off from the main bedroom. There is a second WC off the laundry and a hot / cold outdoor shower (perfect for your return from a day at the beach). The laundry has a top loader washing machine for extended stays, and there is a washing line in the garden.
Cooking outdoors is a breeze using the large covered gas BBQ, and with a large, fully fenced yard, the children can play safely while you enjoy a good book in the afternoon sun. Pets are also welcome at this property, and can enjoy the back yard and the beach next door along with the rest of the family!
All the comforts of home are included in your stay, including reverse cycle air conditioning (living area), ceiling fans in the bedrooms, and a lovely wood fire for the winter months.

All of our accommodation is fully self-catered, and as a courtesy we provide a basic starter pack for each stay, including: soap, toilet rolls, tea, coffee & sugar, basic cleaning products, and some cooking essentials (oil, salt & pepper). We provide these items to help kick-start your holiday in a stress-free way, but guests are responsible for the ongoing supply of anything they should require beyond the starter pack provided.
During winter months, we provide some complimentary wood, kindling, matches and fire lighters for houses with indoor fire places. Guests requiring more wood for their stay - or wishing to use the fire outside of winter months - will need to purchase their own, available at local service stations and hardware stores.

We loved the location. The property was just what we had expected, lovely back garden and furnished adequately. The one down-side was the smell of what I suspect was possum urine which was quite over-whelming when the house had been closed up for any length of time. Also, not a lot of light gets in which probably helps keep the house cool but I don't like having to use lights all the time.

This is a great property for dog owners. Large, secure fenced yard for our Labrador who loved being so close to the dog beach. Very clean and today with generous amounts of essentials provided for our stay. Minor quibbles include a missing door handle on the front flyscreen which made opening and closing it difficult and a lack of an indoor recycling bin. We will certainly be staying at this property again as we are frequent visitors to Dunsborough.

Excellent layout, pristine cleanliness, very comfortable bedrooms, outside shower really handy as is the second toilet. The kitchen is really well appointed and quite spacious with a pantry you cant see in photos. The unexpected delight are the very beautiful and expansive gardens. Both sitting on the verandahs or in the backyard it is so glorious and rejuvenating.

Very comfortable house, with a great backyard for dogs. Excellent location opposite the dog beach and walking distance to the shops. Very comfortable beds & lots of nice extras. There was only three of us so it was perfect - if we'd had many more, a second bathroom might have been helpful. We wished we could have stayed longer. Thanks very much for a lovely holiday!

Came down to dunsborough for a family holiday and this property did not disappoint. It was the best location with a less than 2 minute walk to the beach. A huge yard, generous sized rooms and had everything you could possibly want/need. Can not speak highly enough of this property and will stay here again.

This property is well located across the road from the bay with an easily accessible waking path and walking distance to the city centre. All the mod cons are provided for; washing machine and dryer, your usual kitchen appliances including a coffee machine and a great hair dryer. Wood fire in the living room. The garden is perfect for dogs big or small. The property is tidy on presentation. Floors in the living areas needed a wash, some dishes were packed away sticky, so recommend washing before using. The bathroom was clean but there is some black mold growing in the silicon around the base of the shower. Towels and linen was provided clean and fresh! There is some staining on the ceiling of the master bedroom, possibly from a possum who is very active at night or water staining. The check in process was very easy.

We had a great time. Being 2 families the layout of the house was terrific . We throughly enjoyed the fire place and the comfy couch. The Large enclosed backyard was a bonus as the kids could play safely out the back.

Location to beach, park across the road and 10minute casual walk to Main Street, very suitable for a small family. Property managers were very responsive and informative. Property was very clean, comfortable and had everything you would need. Back yard is fenced and safe for kids to run around. Will stay again.
