Welcome back to "Peaceful Sol'
Well those recent hurricanes were a great excuse to remodel the entire house which will be ready 2025! Photos to be updated.
Just one door from the Gulf of Mexico and the new sand beach - you can often hear the crashing waves from the pool! Super clean, comfortable and very spacious! 3 large bedrooms: 1 uniquely private king room with private full bath, 1 queen room and 3rd bedroom with 2 queen beds. Giant screen lanai with vaulted ceiling, overlooking the brand new saltwater pool/spa.
Since we live and work in Madison Wisconsin, it's obvious why absolutely love our island getaway! John is an avid fisherman and I aspire to be a beach bum, so we love that our home has deeded access to the Gulf of Mexico. Sand beach, as far as you can see. Walk for miles and enjoy dolphins, manatees, sea turtles and countless entertaining birds. Take a nap and come back with a cocktail and a chair for a guaranteed-spectacular sunset!
Our home is situated between the public beaches - far enough away from either one that it feels really nice and private, with very few other people.

We were disappointed. Granted that the heat didn’t help the situation. We paid double what we usually pay in Siesta Key for a place much nicer than this place. The lock box fell of the wall outside. We could not unlock the front door with the code. Television only gave us three channels when it worked. The kitchen had small bugs that shocked me as they came out of the toaster. The pool was extremely small and the beach was dangerous. I went into the water and sank down to my knees. I had great difficulty getting out. My husband also had difficulty getting out. Luckily someone helped him out. This place should not be advertised for older people. The sunroom door would not open to the outside. It took us two days to find the locked grandparent’s bedroom. The main shower leaves a lot to be desired. Very little flow. The living room was nicely decorated, but for $5,000 for the week we expected more. We would like to discuss this further with you. This property was so clean and the location was perfect! A very short walk to a beautiful private beach - plenty of beach chairs and towels were provided. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub also. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

We absolutely loved the place! Perfect for all ages, especially small children. Very kid friendly and safe. We loved the Grandparent casita, our very own room. It was our 2nd yr here...we love it! It is like home away from home and then some! The location is perfect and the pool and hot tub just adds to the experience. Our family spent Christmas at the beach in this lovely, well-equipped house. Our kids loved the pool, and we all loved the quiet neighborhood close to the beach. The house had everything we needed (pool toys, beach chairs, kitchen supplies) for a peaceful getaway with our family.

The home was beautiful, clean, and perfectly close to the beach. The beach was perfect for us and our little ones-- shallow clear water, not crowded at all (it felt like we had the beach to ourselves), and the kids spent the whole time snorkeling and collecting shark teeth and seashells. The pool was great and felt safe with the enclosure, which was easily removable if needed. Our kids spent the whole time in the water. We loved the two spaces to eat together, indoor and out. Everyone in our family loved the space, the decor, and the opportunity to spend time altogether. Englewood is a quiet town and we felt like we could just relax and have a super laid back vacation. Thank you also to the rental managers for making everything so easy for us and answering our questions promptly. We hope to stay again soon.

Our stay at "Peaceful Sol" was exactly that! Was able to stroll 2 minutes to the beach every night to catch the sun set.
Private beach was never crowded, was great for kids to play, launch a kayak for a float. Great time hunting for shells and sharks teeth.
Home was cool and refreshing with dips in the pool.

We have been to this location multiple years and always impressed by the cleanliness and updates made. The property is always clean, maintained, and fully stocked with all the essentials to get us started. The owners are incredibly kind and courteous.

This was our second time staying here and we could easily tell that this property is loved and taken care of. Since our first stay they made many upgrades. This place is perfect if you have small children. There is a pool gate for safety and it's also a very short walk to the beach. We love it here and will continue to stay here when we are visiting the area!

Wish I could give ten stars!
This was the most perfect vacation ever! The house is AMAZING and so many items already there! That was such a huge help! The layout is amazing, we loved that the master was separated a little, perfect! We had our four kids (18, 16,15 and 13) along with my daughter’s boyfriend (18) and they had a BLAST too! The pool was perfect, the hot tub was so nice at night! The private beach is literally steps away and took our breath every day! We bought snorkels and we all enjoyed that part as well! We found 32 shark teeth!!! Stump Pass is a must, so nice to be so convenient. They kids loved taking Stumpy’s Free ride in the evenings to get an icee at circle k or go have dessert on their own at the restaurants. We all agreed that this was the best vacation ever. We will be back for sure. The owners thought of EVEYTHING! Beach chairs, beach towels, tons of noodles and floats. Thank you so much for all the memories we will have forever. 10 stars for sure!

Traveling with an infant and toddler is not always easy. But, this home on Manasota Key is the perfect low key getaway to enjoy a bit of beach and pool. We felt relaxed and the kids loved it!

A rare find!
Great house, great neighborhood, and great beach access to a very private beach area. The house was incredibly clean and the owners thought of everything you'd need for a fun and practical beach vacation. From beach, to pool, to outdoor dining area, this house was was a 10 in my book especially with our 4 young kids between 2 and 10 years old.

Couldn't ask for anything better
Great location, easy Stumpy's free ride to restaurants, great access to the beach (1 min walk). The property looks to be newly updated and was very clean and comfortable. The beach was clean and had to s of great shells and shark teeth to be collected! We had two small hiccups with the property but they were fixed the same day! Ian to the rescue :-)

Great Home away from home
This was a great place for our family. Only 1 house away from the beach and no road to cross to the beach. Would have liked to have been able to walk on the pier on the bay side, but the pier was inoperable. The house was great and the right sized pool to be refreshing.

The property was perfect for our extended family members. Kids and adults loved the pool and hot tub and being within a very short walk of the beautiful beach. The game room was an added bonus!
The house was family friendly and comfortable, nicely furnished with easy care updated furniture, TV, and Wi-Fi . Kitchen had just about everything to accommodate cooking with ease. Restaurants were within an easy walk or very short drive.

Better than the pictures
Pro's:
Property location to the beach is definitely close. I am handicapped and it's difficult to walk very far without a wheelchair. There was a new beach made and I can honestly say I loved the fact I could make it! Within 2 minute walk even for me.
The pics on VRBO of the property kind of looked liked the home was outdated or maybe 70's style. However, upon entering the home, it is nothing like that at all! The only outdated room is the bathroom in the detached bedroom. That one is still 70's style only. All the home is beautiful and decorated nicely and very spacious.
Property owner was extremely fast when communicating. Always responsive!
Cons:
Pool was way too hot and did not cool us down. Pool man came out first day we asked if he could turn off heat which he did. We were charged for the week to heat the pool which isn't necessary and wasn't enjoyable until it was off.
There was water coming out of closet which became dangerous because kids slipped and fell before we noticed it. Looks like this was something might have been going on for a while due to damage on walls in hallway outside the area. Didn't impact our trip as property manager and owner was going to address it when we left but did look like pre-existing due to bubbled wall. Just fyi.
Overall:
Wonderful experience and wonderful home. Property manager was great to deal with and would definitely rent again!
