About this house rental

90 mins north of Auckland this is a premium property on Ruakaka beachfront.

The property has fantastic uninterrupted 180 degree sea views from Whangarei Heads to Bream Tail, taking in the Hen and Chicks and Sail Rock, whilst being very private with reserve bounding front and one side. Floor to ceiling windows along the front of the house give a breathtaking panorama of Bream Bay. Also enjoy the view from the solar heated pool, spa, or spacious front or roof decks.

The beach is approx 50 meters away (or about a 100m walk along to a walkway and down to the sand).

The house has a large modern kitchen/dining/lounge area, with all the modern comforts such as underfloor heating in bathrooms, open gas fire place, and home theatre system. The property also sports a large garage used as a games/exercise room (incl pool table, weights, and rowing machine), and ample off street parking.

The property is equally hospitable in winter and summer.

Ruakaka beach is a beautiful 11 km long white, sandy East coast beach safe for swimming and including a patrolled area.

NOTE:
* Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to bring your own linen (towels / sheets / pillowcases)
* Outside security cameras look across the three main access points to the house: driveway, deck (incl spa), and back lawn

We had a fantastic stay at Ruakaka. The house worked well for our group of family and friends. The location right on the beachfront is fantastic and we enjoyed long walks on the beach and swimming in the sea. When the weather wasn't so great the pool, spa and pool table were all well used. A wonderful spot and great hosts. Thanks for sharing with us!

We had a wonderful time in Ruakaka with our family for an extended weekend/early Christmas. Highly recommend this property as it had everything we needed - well appointed kitchen, great deck for lounging, pool for the kids and a short walk to the beach. The booking/checkin and entire process was smooth as well.

Beautiful home, loved the amenities the time spent with my moko in the pool and spa was a blessing, the view the easy access to the beach was soo Kool, would recommend to anyone, the owner went above and beyond for our personal circumstances, thank you Ewen and penny, god bless

A bach with some great amenities - in warmer weather would love the pool! The spa pool was great for the time of year. We advised the owner that we were unable to access the rooftop deck and that the spa controls weren’t working as per directions (but still able to use the spa) so hopefully will be addressed for the next visitor. Comfy beds and table tennis was a bonus! Ewen was quick to respond to our queries.

We came for a family holiday with friends and had a great weekend away. The house is lovely, clean and well maintained and exactly as described. Its in the perfect spot with amazing beach views and a great deck for watching the sunrise and surf. The owners were friendly and were quick to respond to any queries we had. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again

Cleverly designed house, set up perfectly to maximise enjoyment of all this beachside spot has to offer. Great sea and sky views from everywhere, a pool to cool off after a walk on the beach, rooftop terrace for watching the sunsets, spa pool for watching the star-studded night sky. Unique!

We had a wonderful family holiday here (in spite of the weather being pretty marginal). The property is exactly as shown in the pictures, our kids loved the pool and spa and it's just a short walk to fantastic Ruakaka beach. Great views out to sea, shops and cafe and takeaways all close by. Would definately stay again - recommended!

Another amazing stay here. 3rd time, hopefully not the last. View is amazing, hop skip jump to an amazing northland beach, sit in the spa and enjoy the view from the deck, play a game of pool.... gas fire makes it cosy as! Main bed super comfortable also. Shower pressure fantastic
