Enjoyed our stay and close to all the major attractions.

We loved staying at this location, everything is close by either by walking or public transit. The house is clean and worked wonderfully for our group of 5 couples.

Clean and comfortable. Host was very responsive

Plenty of space. Easy check in. Walkable to everything. Really enjoyed it.

The house was wonderful. Furnishings were comfortable. There were 10 of us and the only challenge was the bathrooms but we managed just fine. The kitchen was totally complete with updated appliances and table settings and silverware. All the tech in the house was a bonus - it all worked. Plenty of restaurants nearby. We liked the Black Prince and the Three Stags best. Easy walk to bus or tube. The host was always quick to answer any questions.

Amit was quick to respond to any requests, pleasant and professional
The house was great!

Prefect location! Spacious facility! Modern amenities!
Walking distance to countless attractions, and public transportation, if not.
Highly recommend!

Had a great time here with the family. Very spacious, centrally located. Was able to walk to most areas, but access to public transport on the doorstep when the legs were a little bit tired.

My family and I (7 adults total) were very impressed with the location of this property. It’s also not often you find a rental this close to the city center for a large group. The townhome itself is in a quiet neighborhood, but with multiple bus stops and train stations in walking distance, not to mention a very short walk to Lambeth Bridge and the Thames River, you can easily get wherever you need to go in London. The home itself was generally clean, the check-in process was easy, and Amit was very responsive when I brought a few small issues to his attention. The property had recently been renovated to create an open floor plan on the first floor and an additional bedroom on the fourth floor. That information hadn’t yet been updated on the VRBO listing, but Amit did make me aware of the improvements prior to our stay. Overall it was a good home base from which to launch our daily excursions into the city, and had plenty of space for our party of 7.

4 adults , 3 children age 12 and under stayed for 3 nights at this newly remodeled ,beautiful and spacious apartment. There were enough beds and bathrooms to accommodate all easily. Also, apartment is on a quiet street, lots of green space and only a couple of blocks to a grocery store and to a bus that takes you to central London. The apartment is centrally located, easy to walk to all the major sights. (Westminster, Mayfair, Buckingham palace.) We did take the tube to see Tower of London but walked back home.
Amit, our host, was easily available and helpful if we had any questions. I would recommend this apartment . We had a great time.

Our stay was wonderful! Very clean, recently updated with easy to understand instructions. 10 minutes walk to underground and Waterloo train station. Amit was very friendly and responsive to our questions. I would highly recommend!

My husband and three kids joined my friend, her husband, and their child for a few days in London and this was the perfect house for the 8 of us. There were 6 bedrooms, 5 of which had full/Queen (?) beds, one of which had a twin, and there were 2 1/2 bathrooms. The living area was small but worked, even for the 8 of us. The dining table was perfect for 8 and the kitchen had every amenity you might need. There were TWO washers and dryers, USB ports in the wall to charge phones, etc., fans in every room, a dishwasher, plenty of toilet paper, soap, etc. - they really thought of everything! My only complaint is that the online listing and photos do not match the house - it almost appears to be a completely different flat. I’m not sure why there are not updated photos given that people have been complaining about the inaccurate photos for years.

Very nice house in Southbank if London, close to all the sights and transportation. Host's communication was excellent and timely. The house was very comfortable for our family of 6 and we had a very enjoyable time!

This home was perfect for my family for our first trip to the UK. Amit communicated excellently with us before, during, and after the trip. The property is located in a nice neighborhood right outside of London. It’s also a short walk away from the Metro. It is really clean and had enough rooms to accommodate 10 of us. I definitely would recommend to anyone visiting London.

All seven of us, covering 3 generations of our family, really enjoyed this space. Having 6 bedrooms allowed us to all spread out and have our own bedrooms, which is great when family dynamics occasionally come into play. The small back yard was great to have an outdoor space to enjoy as well. We would gladly stay here again!
4.7
The house was very clean and well set up. The portable fans in each room were very appreciated.
I was in communication with the owner several times before our stay. Amit contacted me a couple of weeks before arrival to tell me some remodeling had been done, but was not yet reflected in the pictures on VRBO.
We did have one problem that was quickly resolved by Amit and myself, to our satisfaction. If I have the opportunity to visit London again with a large group, I would stay here.

My mom hosted me and my brother and our families in this house for a glorious one-week vacation in London. We loved staying in Lambeth and got really used to hopping on the nearby buses, walking to different rail stations and also calling Ubers when we were lazy - it was always easy to get around, and we went as far as Stonehenge and as close as the Hercules pub. The house has a very vertical layout with the top bedroom on a fourth floor - our teen loved having that roost. Each morning we all made breakfast down in the kitchen and gabbed, which was a cozy and cost-saving way to start the day. The WiFi is excellent (multiple people on multiple devices and no one ever got dropped) and the bathrooms are nicely remodeled. Note that the pictures on the site right now (February 27 2023) are not entirely accurate, they are from before this house got a fairly substantial remodel/addition on the first floor especially. The kitchen/living room is now a fairly tight space but there's an extra little bedroom on the first floor, and the third-floor bathroom has a walk-in shower, which my mom appreciated. The backyard is now smaller and without grass. The floorplan shown on the site is accurate, and the pictures do accurately portray the vibe of the place and the furniture, with the exception of the desk chairs - those were not there when we stayed. I really loved having laundry facilities; with kids along, we did laundry nearly every day. Everything was in working order. Unfortunately they were remodeling the house next door during our week, and the noise from the workers began each morning we were there (even Saturday), but that's obviously not going to be going on forever. On balance we were seriously grateful to all be staying together and to have this well-located house as our home base, I'd recommend it to anyone.

Arriving from Australia to a cold winter, we found the property nice and warm. A minor issue with the hot water but sorted quickly (even though it was a weekend) good location and near public transport.
4.7
Apart from a few teething issues and minor maintenance required we enjoyed our stay. Very easy to get in and out of London with local amenities too.
4.7
This was a great property for a family get together. Loads of bedrooms and amenities were fine for a family group of 11. Top bedroom might take a a bit of navigating with heavy bags but other than that can not fault this property or communication with the owner. We loved our stay in Lambeth and would certainly come back to this property if back in London.
4.7
Very clean and well appointed. We enjoyed our stay. Close yo tube, restaurants and grocery. We would stay again. Amit was very responsive to our needs.
4.7
We were 2 families (4 teenagers) and had enough space for everyone. The living/dining is a bit small, but didn't bother us. The teenagers preferred to be in their own room anyway. The kitchen is very well equipped. Everything was clean and nicely furnished. The location is great and since the weather was good, we could do a lot of things on foot. The communication with Amit was very good and everything worked out fine. Thank you very much, we would love to come back :-)
4.7
We really enjoyed the place! Everything was clean and as described.
4.7
We were a group of 4 adults and 4 children. This home was central to everything we wanted to see in London, and was very comfortable. Amit was a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful.
4.7
House was lovely, very central, lots of shops nearby, great delivery service 15 mins walk to Waterloo and 10 mins to nearest tube station, beds comfy refitted bathroom done to high spec, lots of space for everyone and owner in touch from the start and very helpful will try to book again when next coming to London.
4.7
Clean and sufficient room for all 9 of our family. Nice bathrooms and comfortable beds. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great house for families.
Within walking distance of buses and Westminster Bridge. Short walk to see Big Ben. Black Prince pub was close and a favorite.
4.7
Good find, with back deck space too, for family group
Good value for money for a family group. (Not sure why the photos are still showing the pre-renovation look of the residence and back garden..) Know that the highest bedroom is 4 floors up and quite warm in summer altho the owner kindly made sure there were fans/air coolers in each room.
If I could give 6 stars for owner communications I would, our questions and concerns were immediately answered and solutions found. We had some problems with the tv but that may have been on us, and we really didn’t need it as we’re out most of the time. Also know that the 6th bedroom, on the ground floor. is really a single altho there is another single bed that can be pulled out, leaving little extra room .
One little ceiling drip area noticed in main room, I imagine that will be rectified.
All in all a fine place to stay with decent transport links into central London. (We were very lucky that the annual neighborhood festival at Lambeth Palace gardens was on when we were there, very special). Enjoyed occasionally seeing the local urban foxes - there is a park/green space area right across the street - don’t be surprised if you hear them, too!

Liked the house. But was disappointed with the beds. It was advertised as king size bed and they were double and queens. Location was good for what we wanted to see in London. Close to restaurants, pubs. Etc.

Spacious and convenient
The townhouse is in a residential area near a school and park. Much of the area was a little run down but we never felt unsafe. It appears a large public housing project will soon be demolished for new facilities so I anticipate there will be a lot of future construction noise. The beds and sofa were comfortable. The property instructions say to tell people you are a "friend" so I presume it's not supposed to be a vacation rental which felt a little weird. It was "cleaned" well in general but the sofas were very stained and there was a big hole in the ceiling that appeared to be from a water leak. (The owner had mentioned there were some recent improvements and the photos will be updated but didn't mention that.) We were given one bath towel and one pillow per person based on our reservation. The towels were air dried in the apartment and were "crispy" so to speak, which I was able to resolve by re-laundering. I asked the housekeeper about additional pillows as several of us sleep with more than one and she told me they were in the cabinets but I could not find pillow cases. The owner was in touch because a contractor needed access so I asked about pillowcases he said they were "around" and he would get back to me with specifics but never did. It appeared they were in a locked closet I could see but not access from the washer and dryer. The linens from the previous turnover were all air drying on a rack in the unit so I dried and used a couple of those. Overall we were not "unhappy" but it took a little adapting.
