About this house rental
Being only 7 doors away from the coast line, this humble 2 bedroom house is the perfect getaway for the couple, or small family. Situated in Clifton springs this holiday getaway is a mere 2 minute walk, which gives access to 2 separate bay beaches, which are children friendly as they paddle in the shallow waters.
Dogs at owners discretion.
A hop, skip and and a jump brings you to the site of the beautiful original Clifton Springs, which includes fantastic BBQ/picnic facilities, including magnificent views from the above look out. Right next door you will find the ever popular Golf Club where you can place a bet (TAB) play the pokies, keno, bar, and enjoy a great meal in there spacious bistro.
A great, (quiet traffic) spot for bike riding, and trail walks with the kids.
In the neighbourhood enjoy dining at some the gorgeous wineries. The famous Jack Rabbit Winery is only a 6 minute drive away. Here you can enjoy sophisticated modern Australian cuisine in a vineyard restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows. The views across the Bay over looking the city are simply stunning.
2 minutes walk up the road you can find a play ground for the kids, a Milk Bar, Hairdressers/Beauty salon, Dog grooming, and a 50's, 60's Rock n Roll diner.
Boat Ramp facilities, with easy access are only a 5 minute drive away, being newly established this is fully equipped with Fish cleaning area, toilet block, ample parking for your car and trailer, there is also the option of boat hire if you so desire. Great fishing location for offshore, and pier fishing. Within close proximity to the boat ramp you will find another shopping strip which includes: Bottle Shop, Medical Centre, Home wares /gift store, and a Fish n Chip shop.
5 minutes up the road gets you to the small town of Drysdale which provides you with all your shopping requirements i.e Woolworths, Aldi Bakery, and Coffee shops, a surf shop, Fishing boat repairs, Auto Pro, and much, much more. A new shopping centre which has just been opened in the new estate of Drysdale is also on offer.
10-15 minutes drive to the stunning Queenscliff, where you can catch the car ferry to Sorrento which leaves on a regular basis for a spot of lunch, or shopping.
Point Lonsdale, where you can watch the ships meander out through the heads.
Port Arlington is another 10-15 minute drive great little beachside hot spot, where the walk on ferry runs to and from the Docklands at specified times throughout the day.
The beautiful Ocean Grove is only a stones throw away being an 8 minute drive down the road, which offers great dining, coffee shops, and fantastic surf beaches. Across the bridge and you're the pretty little town of Barwon Heads. Keep going and Torquay is only a 30 minute drive, which offers great shopping and surfing beaches aswell.
The Great Ocean Road is another must see destination, and only a short drive from Torquay.
The city centre of Geelong, and beautiful foreshore are a simple 15 minute drive up the freeway.

It is older and not perfect but definitely is a great place to stay.

Excellent 2 bedroom property, quite spacious and clean and has good furnishing.
Situated in a quiet street, walking distance to the beach in Clifton Springs.

*as soon as we walked in it smelt like sewerage had to open every window and leave open
*both bins were over full and had to find a place in town to get rid of rubbish.
*dishes on sink and not washed properly.
*cups, cutlery were dirty. no cleaning products.
*had to change sheets could tell they hadn't been changed. .
*place needs to be cleaned properly before next people come in...
