We love it here. We've been here before and will be back. It's a home away from home without the 'ranch chores'.

This property has the most beautiful views. The house is very spacious and we loved having the downstairs area for pool and ping pong.
Property owners were very easy to communicate with. They emailed me to make sure we were enjoying our stay.
I would definitely recommend this property.

Nice home in a fantastic location. Our family had a great time visiting the surrounding area. Would stay again.

Property so amazing. 50 quail running here and there and snacking on porch seed. Cozy, cozy, cozy. Alabama hills right outside the doors. Sky at night, so many stars.

This is a wonderful home in all respects. The views are spectacular. I have never stayed in a rental with a kitchen that was as well stocked as well as the bathrooms. There were DVD's, games and records to play. The game room
down stairs was fun. The beds were comfy with a deck off each one. We will be back.

Used this property as a base camp for Mt.Langely, then a day trip up Mt. Whitney. This property is absolutely stunning, and could not be in a better location to explore the Whitney Area or Death Valley. I didn't realize that houses were actuallly IN the Alabama Hills like this. Can't see hnow you could regret this place

Nothing better than hiking the Eastern Sierra and coming back to relax in a recliner amidst the Alabama Hills. Really wonderful property and responsive hosts. Will be back!

This is a really special place to stay in the Eastern Sierras! My family and my partner's family stayed here last week, and we had such a lovely time together. The location is incredible, the cabin is very comfortable, and the abundance of California King quail made excellent neighbors for our weekend in the Alabama Hills ~ we loved it!

This is our second visit to this comfortable get away. The house is comfortable and well stocked. It is perfectly situated for exploring the Alabama Hills and the surrounding area. There is so much to see and do within a short walk or drive. You can also just hang out on the porch and enjoy the view.
We look forward to returning!

Our hearts were full of joy staying a week at this adorable house located in the beautiful Alabama Hills. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare and cook your meals. We loved walking our dogs on the property. This is our first visit to Lone Pine so it was fun exploring the area. The hosts Mike and Diana are the best! Will definitely be back next year.

This was an awesome spot for a family location. The property and hose were wonderful. This location is a great jumping off point for Death Valley National Park, Manzanar, Mt. Whitney, Mono Lake and everything that the Eastern Slope of the Sierra has to offer.

A splendid place amongst the quietude of the Alabama Hills. It is functional, clean and comfortable. Only drawback is an upstairs toilet that resists flushing solid waste. Plunger is at the ready and used routinely.

First, the setting is simply awesome, and the house is situated to take full advantage of its surroundings. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and charmingly and tastefully decorated. It’s also well supplied with everything you might need. It was a perfect place to stay while exploring the area, even during a summer heat wave.

Reo's Ranch is a perfect place to stay!
Absolutely loved this house and the accommodations for our group of 6 adults. So close to so many things to enjoy in the eastern Sierra's in this quaint and quiet neighborhood. The house has everything you need from a well stocked large kitchen to the comfortable beds. What a bonus to have 3 bathrooms in a 3 bedroom house, along with a laundry room and the downstairs rec rooms. The 2 shade trees out front made the deck a perfect place for morning coffee looking at Mt. Whitney. In the evening, the back of the house was perfect to see the stars. We were fortunate to be there for the July Super Moonrise! Two of our party climbed to the top of Mt. Whitney, all 14,505 feet of it! Another part of our group went running through Death Valley (yes, crazy for July). We all enjoyed venturing out into the Alabama Hills. Thanks Mike and Diane for hosting us! We'll be back!

The best view in town
Lone Pine was an "in between" stop in our 3-week journey but what a positive surprise it turned out to be. The view both frontal and back is simply astounding and the place is a quiet safe haven. This owner also deserves the price for the best record colllection!

We already booked to go back next year!
This rental nestled in the boulders is in the perfect location to explore the area. The relaxing porch view includes, Lone Pine Peak, Mt Whitney and the Eastern Sierras. There are so many places within easy driving distance such as Alabama Hills, Cerro Gordo Mine, Mt Whitney Portal, Onion Valley, 4000 yr old Bristlecone Pine trees, Bishop and more. We were kept busy each day with amazing views of Owens Valley, exploring old mines along with hikes to boulders and trees.
Do yourself a favor and go to the Eastern Sierra Ice Cream Company. The peach blackberry coffee cake from Alabama Hills Cafe is worth the trip alone!
Stay at this rental and you won't be disappointed!

No need to even question this place
This beautiful ranch home is equipped with anything you need… Very comfortable sleeping quarters… and then there are the views… Both front and back areas are just phenomenal… We enjoyed sitting on the front porch taking in the spectacular view of the Mount Whitney mountain range and the back area are the beautiful Alabama hills with these crazy rock formations… Just a blast to be here! Thank you so much for this wonderful experience.

A return visit
A return visit that we were really looking forward to and even better than we remembered. Couldn’t be a better spot to appreciate the Alabama hills. Such a unique special area. Any stress you have or don’t even know have fades as you enjoy morning and evenings spent on the many decks and porches between your outdoor activities. Absolutely treasure the family time we spend there. And the owners are wonderful to deal with. Already planning another return trip. Grateful the owners share this special house!

Spent five days here in December. It is one of the perfect times of year to be in the Lone Pine/Alabama Hills area. Cold at night, big moon and many stars, snow on the Sierra and Inyo Mountains. What’s not to love.
The kitchen is open and very well equipped (so many cupboards, takes a bit of time to locate, and remember, where things are…hope we put them away properly). The beds were comfortable.
My dogs had a blast in all ways.
Did some hiking right off the property. Soooooo fun!!

Perfect for a family get together!
This is a great property to stay at while exploring the Sierras. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood and has plenty of areas to explore directly behind the house...the sun rises were beautiful to see! We did some fishing in the Owens River and took in the fall foliage sights in the June Lake loop. After the day's adventures, we came back and relaxed in comfort. The kitchen is well equipped, the bedrooms/bathrooms are nicely furnished and the game room added tons of fun!
The owners are very easy to work with and they have a quick response time to questions. I would highly recommend this property for your next Sierra vacation!

Hear the heartbeat of the high desert
A comfortable, well equipped place with an extraordinary location. So quiet you can hear the heartbeat of the high desert. Only draw back was a very small living room and no recycling. Other than that, its not a swank place but full of nice esthetic touches. Recommended.

1 week was not enough to enjoy the property and all the marvels of nature around. Best starting point o climb Mt Whitney, see bristlecone pines and death valley. Night walks across Alabama hills are the best. The only thing is that when you come with a dog be aware of broken glass in south part of the property. By the way internet is supper fast - good place for workation.
