The view
The description of this property was totally incorrect the house is in very poor condition the furnishings are very dirty the lounges have stains and sweat stained and need a good clean , bathroom has a piece of cardboard in the louvred window the shower shelf has fallen off and missing
The verandah is in poor condition and unsafe the bbq was filthy the outdoor setting was pathetic
The laundry was filthy and outside
toilet. We actually left after our first night the bugs, ants and cockroaches were too much we went to Richmond and rented a beautiful clean property for under $200 for the night. The agents really need to inspect this property for the money it was ridiculous .

Location and fireplace
Listed as 2 x queen beds, which is incorrect. There is 1 x queen bed and a double. Quite misleading. Also should have provided an extension cord in the double bed rooms so we could use the heater.

Great view and great location. Nice kitchen & living area. Management staff are very quick to respond and accommodating.
Not a great welcome after having driven from the other side of Tasmania, as the bedroom downstairs hadn't been cleaned or the beds made with clean linen. The power had been turned off to the fridge, TV, and kitchen appliances - had to switch back on at the power box (not sure if everyone would think to check that - certainly wouldn't expect to do this). The bedrooms are a bit claustrophobic and the shower had no blinds on the window and surprisingly a door to directly outside. No soap holder in the shower, and infested with mosquitoes. Also a blackspot for mobile phones - took 12hrs at one point for a txt message to get out and had no Internet data coverage. As there is no WiFi provided by the accommodation, this was an issue. TV cable had to be forced in quite hard to stay in place.
Disappointed as this place has a lot of potential and looked so much better in the photos. As mentioned above, the management were quick to respond to our concerns and as we were only staying two nights decided not to have our stay interrupted with cleaners until after we left. But the owners need to do a bit more work on the place. Considering how much I payed for the accommodation, would have preferred to have stayed somewhere else or a night in Richmond & the lakes than a wasted two nights here. Sorry for the poor review, but I'm being completely honest.

Views!! This place has the most amazing views, so lovely to wake up to sunrise here. The apartment itself was so spacious and had everything that we needed for a few nights. Location wise, it couldn’t have been better.
It could have been cleaner, the bbq didn’t have any gas and hadn’t been cleaned by the previous people so we couldn’t use it. We had purchased our food on the way down so ended up having to cook it all in the oven.

The place obviously had water damage. Because of that there was a very bad smell throughout. Lucky the weather was good that we could air it out! Excellent location. Hope they fix the water damaged carpet downstairs. Could have been excellent.

the location was superb
The place had a musky, dank odour right throughout it as if it hadn’t been properly aired for months. Most of the windows were jammed shut, so it was impossible to air properly. Two calls for assistance from Freycinet Beachfront Resort went unanswered and the messages we left were never responded to. My wife had to cover the bed with her own clothes to avoid the dank smell which had permeated everything. We seriously considered moving out, but eventually just put up with it. By the third day of airing, the smell had reduced significantly.

The view, the living area.
A bit dated.

views and location .
One of the bedrooms was far to small and had a bed against a wall which made it difficult for anyone to get up during the night without disturbing the other person . There’s very little storage for clothing which made it feel like living out of a suitcase . There were birds in the roof above one of the beds that made noise all through the night and day . The second toilet had a broken toilet lid which had been repaired with tape , a window pain in the bathroom had been replaced with cardboard . The fridge had dust and dirt all over the top of it as did the light shades . Lawns and gardens were unkept . These issue were over looked by us as we really enjoyed the location and it’s views .

The view was phenomenal! The location of the property is great, its very close to the town centre of Coles Bay within a 5 minute walk.
On arriving the property had a stale smell to it which disappeared after windows were open for the day. The smell returned after a day out with the doors and windows closed so I’m unsure what the smell is.
The property itself needs updating including bedding, decor and kitchen utensils. There are other properties in Coles Bay for the same price which are clean and modern. The kettle was rusted inside which none of us felt ok with using.
Ants are all over the property including in the kitchen, master bedroom and bathroom. The ants in the kitchen are out of control, they are on the counters, around the bin, up the wall and on the backsplash of the cooker. We placed our open food in air tight bags in a cupboard, the ants still managed to get to the food and covered the whole cupboard within a hour.
The ants really let this property down, from previous reviews it is clear the management of the property have been told about this however, have done nothing about it. There was a broken can of ant spray under the sink and ant rid that went out of date in 2013 so they provide nothing to help keep the ants at bay whilst you stay.

The location of the house was perfect! We were a walk through the garden gate to the beach and a short drive to the gates of Freycinet National Park. The view - WOW!!! You literally stare at the Hazards and it is breathtaking. We specifically booked this accommodation based on the view and I can assure you, it did not let us down. We had a full sized kitchen which was well stocked with basic cookware and utensils. The beds weren't too bad to sleep on for a couple of nights. The shower was a dream, the water pressure was fantastic. There was a baby gate in the shed which came in handy for us travelling with a toddler who we wanted to keep well away from the steep staircase!
The ants!!!!!!! On our first day we unpacked our groceries, baby foods and formula etc and went on a hike. When we got back there were ants EVERYWHERE and in EVERYTHING. I rang the company, to which I was offered to have someone come out and clean them up for us, however we declined. They definitely knew about the ants, because there were a couple of different types of ant removal solutions under the sink! We plugged the holes where the ants were coming out from and it seemed to have worked.

The view was just AMAZING! Truly beautiful. Don’t think I’ve ever stayed somewhere with such a lovely view. The sun comes in through the lounge windows in the morning, warming it right up.
Shower was also great!!
