This beach cottage is one of a kind. Please contact vrbo or owner for dates you are interested in if you don’t see availability. This cottage is so calming to just sit there and watch the ocean which is only steps away. Turtles frequently swim nearby for your enjoyment.
The main building is under construction, so price is reduced for this season. Can be noisy Mon to Fry from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, No construction weekends or holidays.
All amenities are there in the cottage and on the property. The only thing you will need are groceries which can be bought on the way or 2 miles past the cottage at Tamuras Market. We stayed here three nights! It was a perfect stay. We enjoyed going to the beach daily and saw sea turtles every morning! The sea turtles like to swim within the vicinity! Beautiful morning views and sound of waves was perfect! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This place is in a perfect location, right on the beach and close to Jurassic park ranch. The place itself is a little outdated and needs some renovation in my opinion. Everything else was great.

This place is not for everyone. The positives:
1. The view from the unit is amazing.
2. The ocean breeze at night and the sound of the waves were excellent.
3. Having the beach so close was great.
4. The unit itself was clean. It had everything you needed
The negatives:
1. The building and unit are old and not kept up. Other reviews give specifics.
2. There was loud construction which according to prior reviews has been going on for years.
3. It is very hot without AC.
4. The big windows allow guests in the units next to you to see everything you are doing. If you close curtains for privacy then you get very hot!
5. It was VERY noisy! With windows open you hear noise from surrounding units
6. Jacqui was passive aggressive. I sent a message about the lack of privacy, the heat and bright outdoor lights that were shining into the bedroom window. She sent a response saying that we were the first guests in 15 years who complained--we read prior reviews about privacy so we weren't. She then showed up at the Unit at 9am unannounced, and when i asked about the outside lights shining in the bedroom she said they cant be turned off for security and are only on 7pm til 7am. This also was not true...They were on 24/7 until another guest complained then they were out 24/7. She offered black out curtains and another fan but that wouldn't help.
If you are fine with a run-down noisy very hot beach house right on the beach with amazing views and a nice ocean breeze then you will love it.

We were lucky enough to stay in this exceptionally clean, very nicely decorated and amazingly located condo for 4 nights in August 2024. From the view, the basically private beach to the turtles who appear in the evening and leave at sunrise, the trip could not have been better!! We were not interested in the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. We wanted to be able to go there but not stay there and we are so grateful we made that decision and we’re lucky enough to stay here..

We enjoyed staying in this cottage! It’s cozy and right on the beach. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki, this is a great option. It’s on the second level of the cottage, great ocean breeze, and we truly enjoyed seeing the sea turtles come up on the beach during the day to sun and at night to sleep. It’s a bit of a drive if you’re wanting to do anything in the Waikiki area, but if you’re interested in the North Shore, Polynesian Cultural center, Waimea Falls, Kailua, etc this is a great location. There is a grocery store nearby, and the cottage had pots, pans, dishes, etc you’re interested in cooking some of your meals there. Laundry supplies were provided for the shared laundry space. The only negative was the cramped parking spot. It is a challenge to park if you have a full size rental or larger. We would stay here again if we visit the island in the future.

We were a little apprehensive when we first pulled into our assigned parking space, but once we got inside, we were pleasantly surprised at how really lovely it was. Wonderful seaside decor, very clean and comfortable with everything you would need to enjoy the beach right outside your window. The breeze and the sound of the ocean while resting in bed was perfect after a long day of adventure. Mahalo

What a dream location! It was our first trip to Hawaii. There’s no better place stay! The location is ideal, if you want to stay in the peace and quiet of the North Shore. The Hukilau Marketplace is less than 10 minutes down the road with some great food trucks. The beach is beautiful and quiet. Often we had the beach to ourselves! The best part is falling asleep to the crashing waves and the breeze of the cool trade winds.

beautiful spot with amazing view from the picture window. Had some questions and Terrie as very responsive. The area is very beautiful. Enjoyed being steps from the beach and even had some turtle sightings. We were very satisfied with our room.

We loved staying at this amazing place. Being right next to the beach was perfect. We snorkeled with the sea turtles and a few fish. The location was great for the activities we planned. Thank you for a great stay!

My husband and I stayed here for four night at the very start of our two weeks on the Hawaiian islands for our 30th anniversary! It was shabby chic! Small, simple and very cozy, we had everything we needed! The best part was listening to the waves at night and getting up really early to see the sunrise and watch the turtles make their way back to the sea from the under the bushes where they slept at the edge of the beach! Such a beautiful spot! The manager gave us very detailed instructions so check in and out was easy! Thank you Terry!!!

I wanted to take my wife to Hawaii for our 25th anniversary. I used to live on the island when I was a kid, this was my first time back. We stayed for two weeks and visited many great sites. We loved seeing turtles on the beach every day and night. The unit was well maintained although I would suggest making the front door jam stronger.All in all we had a spectacular trip. Would definitely recommend!!

This property was right on the beach. Our front window overlooked the ocean. The beach is protected by the reef and we snorkeled, watch the turtles swim, and walked along the beach. Great location. The property had all of the amenities that we needed. We ate at the local restaurants and came back with tons of leftovers to heat up for the next day. The nice kitchen was available if we needed to cook more. We loved listening to the distant waves crash on the reef to fall asleep to. The host was always available to answer and questions. Overall, great location and relaxing stay.

This was a beautiful property. The house was better than expected and had more than we needed. Inside was cute and relaxing. The process to check in was great.

The property is nice, but under a lot of construction. Nothing that was disturbing or anything, just lots of potholes in the parking lot, scaffolding around the parking space making it a tight squeeze when coming and going. The beach is breathtaking and amazing to walk on. The sea turtles come up at night which was really awesome to see. The interior of the room was the biggest issue. Bed was uncomfortable. There were ants that we were constantly squishing. The fan above the bed malfunctioned a few times. The TV turned itself on and off which was weird. The bathroom is dark, and the door doesn't close all the way. The liquid hand soap in the vanity area was watered down instead of just being replaced. We washed our hands with Dawn dish soap mostly. We had to buy toilet paper and paper towels when we ran out. It just didn't seem very well cared for, and the pictures make it look nicer than it is.

An update on the interior I.e. fresh paint, comfortable furniture would be nice I.e. two futons instead of two beds. The futons would be nice to have a comfortable place to sit and watch the ocean waves. Due to construction on the adjacent building prevented the pool to be open throughout the day. Seeing the turtles on the morning beach was spectacular.

This was a perfect place to get away from the crowds and relax and really enjoy Oahu. We saw sea turtles swimming in the ocean from the views of our cottage and then went out every evening to watch them come ashore for sleeping. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again!

Just where we wanted to stay, right on the beach. We listened to the waves all night long. Having no AC was not a problem. It is an older property. And a lot of work was being done on the buildings. But we totally enjoyed it. It was just what we wanted. We only wish our stay was longer.

Location was great to access North Shore and South windward side. Saw sea turtles on the beach 50 ft from the apt. between 9pm and 5 am. Well equipped kitchen with some condiments and even sun screen.

We had a a amazing time. The location of this unit is phenomenal. We woke up everyday to the sounds of the ocean and stunning sunrises. The property is undergoing construction and we never heard a thing. Property is clean and comfortable. We loved being able to just walk down to the beach and swim. This place is truly a gem! 10/10 would recommend!!
Side notes: Parking in our spot was very very tight, if it had not been for my husband we would have not been able to park at all. We had to unload the vehicle prior to parking because we could not open the back doors or front passenger door at all once parked between column and other space. Getting back out was just as difficult since we aren’t allowed to back in.

The setting of this place is very nice. It is a very out of the way location. If you want to be somewhere to really enjoy a more peaceful place then this is it. The local people are wonderful. Kaya’s kitchen, Coconut Joe’s and the Thai food truck are a must to frequent and within walking distance. There is great coffee south at Keao’s.

The apartment is perfect for a couple or a couple with 1 or 2 kids. Nice kitchen. Fantastic views. Good privacy. Teri expeditiously fixed our Wi-Fi problem. We had a great time.

The pictures don't do it justice. Nothing could you prepare you for how beautiful it is. The cottage is updated, has a larger kitchen than some other cottages I've stayed in at this complex. This particular cottage also has the best ocean breeze due to the location of the windows compared to other cottages in the same complex. We didn't need a/c because the ocean breeze cooled it off 24/7. Listening to ocean waves morning and night is dreamy. We were able to snorkel right outside the back door. We saw several colors of fish, and a few turtles. Make sure you take a night walk on the beach and you will see several turtles on the beach for the night. We will never stay anywhere else when we visit Oahu. Thank you for such an amazing cottage!

We stayed here 3 nights while visiting the USS Arizona, Diamond Head, Waikiki beach, the Dole Plantation and the Polynesian Cultural Center. Great ocean view even from bed. We snorkeled from the beach which was not spectacular, but decent with some coral and fish and very convenient. Very quiet location. Would recommend.

My husband and I enjoyed our paradise getaway. We enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. We enjoyed waking up each morning to our beautiful ocean view and the sound of lapping waves. The amazing food trucks are a must.
Such a perfect location, and the cost makes this head and shoulders above any hotel!!

We loved this condo!! Cute decor, loved having a kitchen and oven, being able to cook some meals from our “home away from home.” Nice to have beach chairs and boogie board, too. The bed was very comfy and loved being able to swim in the ocean just steps from the condo. Terrie was very helpful and checked in on us by phone a couple times. Very attentive!! Thank you for letting us stay at your place!!

We could not have imagined a better place to stay. My hubby and I brought our 12 and 15 year old daughters with us. We wanted to be out of the hustle and bustle of Waikiki and Honolulu so the location was a huge factor for us. We LOVED everything about it. They are currently doing construction but we really didn't notice it as the sound of the waves hid it. We saw sea turtles every night on the beach, that is literally steps away. We bbq'd a few nights to save some money but honestly, I would have not minded if we spent the entire time at this little cottage. Terrie and Lisa were great hosts!! Next time we visit Oahu, we would love to stay here again. Thank you so much for sharing your little piece of paradise with us!!
