We stayed here for a week and were immediately impressed with the decor. It’s really modern and the view from the bifold doors is stunning. It was really spacious and there was a space for everything. We had a baby with us so we had a lot of stuff but it didn’t feel cramped. A travel cot was provided and we had a little trouble putting it up (first time parents who had never used one before!) and someone came round within minutes to show us how to do it. It’s a great location with a view of the sea. We found it a great spot to travel to the north and south of Cornwall as it was never too far from anywhere. The kitchen had everything you could need and more. It even had plates and cutlery for children. They left some lovely bread, scones, jam and cream and a few treats and a toy for our dog - a lovely touch. I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again.

Excellent view, welcome pack, Netflix, cleanliness, colour coordination, wifi, contemporary style.
Hooks on back of doors for dressing gowns would have been useful.
Beds were a little too soft.
Hoover not ideal.
An extra stair gate at the bottom of the stairs would have been very useful.
An extra set of mugs would have been useful.

The property has amazing views and is in a great location. Having a hot tub and a log burning fire is great after a day of exploring.

Our weekend away here was just perfect. The cottage is well equipped, with everything you need to hand.
Inc all kitchen crockery/utensils/washing up stuff/dishwasher/dishwasher tablets/washing machine/iron/ironing board/kitchen roll/tea towels/ linen/ bath towels... I could go on. We really didn’t need to bring anything with us, just our own toiletries.
On arrival there was milk and clotted cream in the fridge, and a basket with scones, bread, jam and tea waiting on the windowsill. Such lovely touches, that we weren’t expecting.
The cottage is so homely, with personal items around the home which make you feel welcome Ie beautiful art work, unique lamps and candles.
The cottage is a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach, which is just beautiful. We are lunch at ‘The Mermaid’. The food was fantastic, and we would definitely recommend grabbing some lunch there.
The cottage was a perfect size for our family of 6, being able to socialise in the living area on the second floor allowed anyone who was sleeping to remain undisturbed downstairs.
The owner was easily contactable, really putting us at ease during our stay, as we knew if we needed anything we could contact him.
The log fire is just amazing, really makes the cottage cosy and warm. There were plenty of logs left for us at the cottage, but because we wanted to keep it burning for long periods we nipped to Aldi to pick up some more treated logs.
A taxi to Newquay town centre took 5 mins and cost £9.50, and we were able to order a take away ‘Indian’ from Newquay that delivered free of charge.
We had a really lovely stay and would definitely come back. We will also be recommending this to our family who are looking for a summer holiday vacation. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home.
That we had to go back to work and couldn't stay any longer!
