About this villa rental
The stunning Villa Elvira with its 4 bedroom , 3 bathrooms and private pool is located just a two minute stroll away from one of the best beaches in the region, the Real de Zaragoza beach.
We have spent the last twenty years watching our boys grow up spending many happy Summers at Villa Elvira and recently took the decision to completetly refurbish the villa and gardens (finalised May 2018) and let others share in our secret, if the stay brings you half the joy it's brought us over the years you'll not go far wrong.
As the saying goes it's all about location, location, location ! Villa Elvira is located just metres from the beach in the ever popular Elviria district of Marbella in Spains famous Costa del Sol. Trip to the beach ? You'll have no need here to pack up the car, fight for parking space, and then worry about uncomfortable wet and sandy swimming costume drives back, you can just walk out the door in beachware and hit the beach.

It benefits from it's own ensuite shower room, toilet, vanity unit/sink and mirror. Wake up in the morning, open the curtains and take in the stunning views out to the meditteranean or head out directly to the roof terrace and enjoy a morning coffee in the comfortable seating area.

Vincci Estrella del Mar beach club, bar, restaurant, spa and gymnasium is five minute walk away (weekly gym passes are available)
Jet skis, pedalos available to hire down on the beach close to the Vincci Beach Club.
The Playwright Restaurant and La Scala two of the highest rated (trip advisor) restaurants in the Marbella region are within walking distance.
Lidl & Mercadona supermarkets are within a 15minute walk but probably best taking the 3-4minute drive with those shopping bags.
All this very close at hand whilst based in a quiet villa where you can choose to have a night in, open a bottle of wine, relax on the roof terrace and take in the twinkling of the lights along the coast from Marbella town round to Gibraltar, the twinkling of fishing boats out at sea, or the twinkling starry night sky above, whilst listening to the waves lapping up on the beach!
Within 30 mins drive
A mere 20minute drive along the coast road is Puerto Banus, with its amazing super rich yacht filled port, numerous bars, restaurants, Night Clubs and exclusive shopping boutiques. Great place to people watch. Seeing Bruce Willis arriving on a Harley at a bar there once was kind of different.
A visit to Marbella town and La Plaza de los Naranjos, quaint narrow cobbled streets, boutique stores, cafes and great tapas bars particularly down by the harbour area.
Just a short 7-8 minute drive away, (walking distance if feeling energetic) is the El Lago michellin starred restaurant. I would highly recommend the tasting menu, truly delicious.
Fancy a bit of shopping ? You have two shopping malls within easy reach, La Cañada some 8 kilometres away on the outskirts of Marbella Town and Miramar about 18 kilometres away in Fuengirola. Miramar also houses a multiplex cinema which normally shows at least 2 films in (VO) version original...English.
A short 15 minute drive gets you to Funny Beach where you can partake in Karting as well as a number of sea based sporting activities
Mijas is home to the best water park in the area and can be reached in 20 minutes
Nearby golf courses ? where to start !!? there are so many, some recommendations, Rio Real challenging with some stunning sea views, Santa Maria golf is very close by (5 min drive) not the longest but some tough holes none the less, El Chaparral some really picturesque holes and Los Naranjos Golf club a little more expensive but the extra touches justify it.

Continuing on the Golf theme at approximately an hours drive are the championship courses of La Quinta, Sotogrande , Finca Cortesin and the venue for the 1997 European Ryder cup win, Valderrama.
Well worth a visit is the picturesque white village of Ronda with its Puente Nuevo, The Arabic walls, city gates and the Mondragon Palace and gardens.
Don't make the mistake of seeing Malaga merely as your airport destination, the city is close by and is extremely culturally and historically rich with castles, cathedrals and museums a plenty.
Feeling brave, enjoy hiking and love the wonders of nature ? If the answer is yes don't miss the "caminito del rey" at about an hours drive the famous and recently renovated mountain path will provide you with a unique experience. (head for heights required)
Approximately two hours away are the cities of Granada and Seville. Granada's Moorish built Alhambra, one of the new 7 wonders of the World is definitely something to behold. The Parque Maria Luisa and Seville Cathedral the third biggest church in the World, and the bullring are among many sites to see in Seville and for the kids there is the Isla Magica theme park
At around an hours drive is Gibraltar, you'll see it from the upstairs terrace but worth visiting little Britain with possible bargains to be had.

Lovely villa with a real home from home feel. Excellent location for the beach and walking distance to a number of very nice restaurants/beach bars. Any issues were quickly rectified by Vince. Would definitely consider returning.

Small criticisms - sunbeds old and saggy, no egg cups, no oven glove, drain smell in upstairs bathroom and bedroom.
Small garden. 2 minute walk to beach (we even didi it in bare feet) . Sunshade and beds available to rent on beach. Warm shallow sea.
Our car( Ford Galaxy)did not fit in the drive but parking right outside on the street was easy.

Nice villa, well laid out and very close to the beach. Easy to get to Marbella old town and marina as well as lots of other towns for day trips. No need for a car if you don't want to drive in the busy traffic as Ubers are readily available. You won't run out of things to do in this part of Spain, we certainly didn't. The air conditioning broke the day before we flew which wasn't great timing but the owner and local management company did the best they could to get it repaired. We made do with portable units in week 1 and it was fixed for week 2. I thought that was very responsive considering the time of year. The beach is great and has a nice bar/restaurant literally 5 mins walk but it stops serving food around 6pm. Lot's of other restaurants nearby to go to and they are all pretty good. Some are really expensive. We paid up to 300 euros for a meal for a family of 4 on more than one occasion. There are some good bars down by the Marbella marina and in Puerto Banus. Beach Club at the end of the road is currently closed but there is another one nearby. The beach is fine sand and safe bathing. Beware the weekend crowds! Sun beds are available but lot's of competition for them. We went to the beach when we wanted a change but only to swim and walked back to the villa to soak up the sun. It's that close.
Overall a very enjoyable holiday but save up because this area is dear! Owners were pleasant to deal with and VRBO is a good platform to manage the booking on. I would recommend.

Excellent location and availability of parking inside plot. House perfectly acceptable and fabulous outdoor garden/swimming pool area.
Unfortunately a number of things marred our stay. First was the pool heating that we had paid for in advance was not working and only came up to temperature the day before we were leaving. I complained to the owner about this and was refunded. It turned out that this was part of a larger electrical problem which resulted in power tripping causing all outside electricity to go off on a number of occasions.
The internet was sporadic requiring frequent re-setting of tv system and our devices.
However, the worst problem during the whole working week was the building work next door from early in the morning until late afternoon. This made it very difficult to be outside and relax as there were workmen making lots of noise and overlooking us.
On reflection, if we had been aware of the building work before our visit, we would not have booked.

Lovely property for our family of 4 adults and two children age 7 and 5 who loved the pool and
short distance to the beach. Unfortunately, Monday to Friday between 07:30 and 16:00 approximately there was building work overlooking the end of the garden and pool so, lots of noise from cement mixer lorries, power tools with dust and the workers loud music and chatter. On booking we didn't realise that gaining entry to the villa was through a property business that was closed on Saturday so finding the lock box at their premises and returning the key back on our departure. Would be more convenient with a key safe outside the villa. But, thank you we all enjoyed our holiday.

My family of 8 adults and 1 baby fully utilized the facilities available enjoyed by everyone. We only wish we had found the Plaza area earlier on in the stay as this has a great range of choice for shops, restaurants and bars. As it was we fed and watered and entertained ourselves at the villa which probably saved us quite a few Euros. All in all a great week was had by all.

Lovely villa, nicer than the photos, perfect for our family group of 7, with three generations. Very clean and well equipped with everything you need. Quiet location with the sandy beach on the doorstep and good beach restaurants. We all loved the pool and the outdoor eating area. A car would be useful but buses were easy too. Marbella was really pretty and interested. Communication with the host Vince was amazing, very quick and really helpful. Thank you for sharing your lovely villa.

We had a fabulous time at this spectacular villa. The photos really do not do it Justice. The local shops, bars and restaurants are a 20 minute walk with only the Lido Beach bar on the door step which does not serve food in the evenings. Ubers are easy to use if you dont fancy the walk. The beach really is at the end of the road !!!.

We had a fabulous long weekend here (Thursday to Monday) The villa is so close to the beach and there are several good restaurants within walking distance - we all really enjoyed La Scala for dinner and Lido Beach for lunch.
Villa had everything we needed - beds were very comfortable. Pool area was great and the shaded pergola with dining table was used every day.
We didn’t have a car but used Uber to go into Marbella and La Cala and this was easy to do. Would have no problem recommending this villa.

My family and I stayed at the property for just under two weeks, celebrating multiple birthdays and two anniversaries. The location was ideal, very private and a stone’s throw away to the beach, with great restaurants within walking distance. The villa was extremely well equipped, clean and secure. Communication with the hosts was super easy and nothing was a problem. We wouldn’t hesitate to re book this villa after such a memorable stay! Highly recommend.

Great Holiday
Great location for the beach and the local fish restaurants on the beach, an easy walk to Elviria too for a few drinks. Downside is that the top floor has no door as a bedroom it is a spiral staircase but overall would def return. Vince at Casa Care was also a really helpful.

Peace and Quiet in great location
Communication with the property owner in advance was great - very helpful and responsive. The location itself was easy to find and in such a quiet neighbourhood with no passing traffic which mad the time very restful. We had a Ford Focus hire car that was the perfect size for the drive way and meant we were securely locked away. Although the area seems extremely safe so we never worried.
The Villa was a good size and had everything we needed. There are several good restaurants within walking distance - the best being La Scala for food and service. The Beach House has great food but chaotic service. Cheaper but very flavourful food at Blanco Bar. Lots of supermarkets within a very short drive - easiest to get to were Mercado and Lidl. Can also be walked to in 20 minutes.
Overall a great location with lovely accommodation and a pool.

Exceptional Stay
Fantastic, modern villa in the most perfect of locations close to Marbella. Lovely views of the sea from the roof terrace and a very short walk to the beach. The host (Vince) really could not have done more to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We really couldn't recommend this villa highly enough and we will almost certainly return!

A beautiful villa in a great location with excellent pool and beach two minutes away
This was our second visit and every bit ad great as the first . The villa itself is excellent with all facilities and minutes away from a range of restaurants and cafes. We walked the beach every morning and enjoyed the waves crashing in at Sylt a nice beach bar a short walk away.

Schöne Lage und mit Badehose zum Strand. Strandbars gleich um die Ecke. Nachbarschaft erwartet eine gewisse Ruhe am Abend bzw. Nachts.

Schöner Pool mit wechselnder Beleuchtung. Haus ist gut ausgestattet. Ausführliche Beschreibungsbroschüre im Haus vorhanden. Haus ist alarmgesichert.

great villa great location
We had a very enjoyable fortnight with our toddler grandson loving the pool and proximity to a lovely beach. The poolside dining area was excellent for breakfast and dinner outside including a couple of barbecues. We walked along the beach to happy hour at the beach house restaurant . It’s a five minute drive to the bars and Restaurants of elviria . The villa is beautifully equipped and spacious . We will be back next year . Marbella and Banus are a short drive away and I would recommend Sunday lunch at El Oceano along outside La Cala and Max Beach just along the coast road. Both have beautiful terraces overlooking the med.

Wonderful well kept Villa in a great location close to the beach and lovely restaurants. We loved the roof Terrace it is a real sun trap and the kids spent hours in the pool. We didn't hire a car but got Ubers into Puerto Banus (which was amazing) and Marbella old town.
Supermarket was a 20 minute walk we did a big shop on the first day and they arranged a taxi back for us.
Throughout the whole booking process Vince was on hand to answer any questions and to give advice.
I would recommend this Villa and look forward to returning.

Fantastic villa, perfect location
Just returned from a really enjoyable holiday at the villa. It is a lovely villa, very tastefully furnished and decorated and a pleasure to stay in. Evenings upstairs on the veranda watching the sun go down and relaxing by the pool was an absolute joy. Plenty of good restaurants and bars within walking distance and the beach very nearby. The owner was very helpful in the lead up to the Holiday and the management agency were very quick to respond to any minor problems that we had. All of the group had a great time and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again

Beach villa
Fantastic week spent at Villa. We were a group consisting of two families. The location was perfect and we were able to take advantage of the beach bars and restaurants within a 5 min walk. The villa was clean and modern with all the space we needed. The pool was perfect for cooling down and taking it easy during the day. We were able to take a bus into Marbella old town (and managed to catch it coming back at approx 11 in the evening with no issues). Would thoroughly recommend this villa.

Excellent location and ex
What a superbly located and set out Villa - the photos and descriptions do not do the Villa justice.
Located within a minute walk to the beach- it’s so close you can hear the sea.
The villa is suited to a nice relaxing break but close enough to enjoy the delights of Marbella / Estepona.
The Sunday vibe at the beach bars are not be missed
A few slight issues but the support team where on always available and where quick to response - it’s when issues happen that we are judged and it’s nice to feel you are in good and safe hands.

Best holiday ever
I am at a loss to actually put into words what a wonderful experience staying in this Villa actually was. I could not recommend this villa and host Vince highly enough. My husband and I rented this as a 60th birthday celebration with my 3 children and their spouses. On looking originally I had a few queries and emailed Vince , he replied within an hour and gave us all the information we needed and then some.I actually emailed a few times and he was very quick to reply and went above and beyond finding things out for me. On arrival the keys were easily obtainable and we were stunned by how lovely the villa was . Everything inside has been done to a very high standard and all the rooms are a very generous size. The view from the terrace is breathtaking and you can hear the waves lap on the beach. The beach front is very private as it's a residential area and we counted less than a minutes walk. If you walk along for 5 minutes you will come to a small bar on the beach with loungers for hire and pedalos . There is a lovely restaurant a minutes walk from the villa that we went to one night, the food was lovely. With a restaurant and the beach so close you would be forgiven for thinking this would make the area noisy,nothing could be further from the truth we could have heard a pin drop day or night.The pool and outside area were perfect and when we weren't sightseeing we took full advantage of it The supermarkets are close by and very reasonable The bus stop is a 5 minute walk and takes you to Marbella in about 15 minutes. I would recommend a day trip to Gibraltar and a trip to Ronda in the mountains. We had a lovely stay and the property management people were very helpful. My daughter managed to get herself locked in the bathroom and after trying to get her out we phoned them, they had someone round in 20 minutes who managed to free her. If you are reading this, my advice would be book now before you miss the chance of staying here .We will definitely be back
