About this house rental

A River Cottage is ideally located in a tranquil setting with an easy 800m walk to town by road or walk along the river through the forest to town. Being in the heart of Margaret River all the features of the region are within easy reach.

All conveniences are included in this three-bedroom house to make for a very relaxing and wonderful holiday. Two of the bedrooms have queen size beds with the third bedroom having a bunk bed with a double bed below. It is a family friendly place accessed by a private road so the children can play outside and ride bikes or scooters very safely. Bring a kayak and paddle on the Margaret River 100m from your doorstep.

You can sit on the balcony with a glass of wine and take in the quietness of the natural bush or enjoy a relaxing walk by the river.

Visit a winery, go to some galleries, explore nearby caves and relax at the wonderful beaches these things and more are at your doorstep when you stay at A River Cottage.

Lovely place, we enjoyed our stay, it was not to far from town, about a 10 to 15 minute walk. Surrounded with trees, and a beautiful running creek. Definitely comeback again Thank you.

We were delighted with this private and peaceful location for our 10 day holiday in the Margaret River region. Breakfast and dinner on the upstairs balcony was very relaxing, listening to birds and almost nothing else. It was very central to the whole region, and a comfortable walk into town.

Everything was so clean and whatever was needed was there. The beds were fantastic and the terrace was our favorite spot. The path through the bush to the center was so brilliant. A nice walk to eat or buy something. In the morning the colorful parrots came for breakfast to pick up their apple. We would come again!! Thanks again

The property had all the comforts of home that we needed and was in a quiet location which was perfect for the getaway we were after. No complaints with the amenities - we were very happy during our stay. Only issue we had was the speed bumps to get into the property. We drove in in our sedan type vehicle and the speed bumps are quite high so had to endure the scraping on the bottom of the car every time we returned to the property. So if you're planning to book this property, just make note of that - I don't think the property owners have anything to do with that aspect but it's just something to take note of. Overall we've had a pleasant stay. Thanks very much for letting us use your beautiful home.

A practical house 3 separate rooms. All things you need. Just add your own food and shampoo Good air conditioners. Good washing machine and dryer. BBQ if you desire. Front with table and chairs to sit and listen to frog chorus. Two small flights of stairs 0.9km from town centre/Woolies. Easy walk and can combine with weir and river path for a circuit. Definately would like to book this one in future.

The chalet was clean and comfortable. My brother and I found it suited our needs well for our 4 day stay. Heating was great as it was cold. A Bluetooth connectable TV would be useful as the WiFi is a bit up and down. All up a pleasant stay. Thanks

House was perfect!!! unfortunately it was not a private property. It should be advertised as a chalet type situation and not a place to ourselves. Also if it's a place to sleep 6 it should be advertised at the price to sleep 6 not to sleep 2 and then surprise us with the extra cost for the family of 4 that we are. Loved are getaway and the location.. just not neighbours 10m from us. we are very private people,

Beautiful surroundings, feels like you’re in the forest yet only a short walk to the main shopping strip. Cottage was beautifully appointed, with every single thing you could possibly need. Even 2 TVs and multiple air conditioners! Couldn’t have asked for more. We'll be back! (there are multiple levels/steps which didn’t worry us but keep in mind if you’re not keen on steps!)

Fantastic stay

We had a fab stay with our young family. Location was perfect, just a short walk to town and our nature loving 2 year old loved jumping in puddles and walking down to the river. House had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and Tracey was so helpful! We will be back :)
