Perfect in every way. Our multi generational family gathering for the total eclipse couldn’t have been better. We ate and puzzled and read in the beautiful house, explored lily bay, and then had the most idillic lake side view for the perfect weather eclipse. House had everything we needed.

This property is the quintessential Maine cabin with wide plank pine floors, big deck, plenty of Moose dishes and silverware, and some Maine decor. However, the beds and linens were terrible. 2 of us ended moving to living room couches in the middle of the night nearly every night. It would be a great improvement to buy a new larger bed for upstairs (there’s plenty of room) and a new queen for downstairs along with quality linens that don’t pop off at the edges of the mattress. A dishwasher would also be a huge improvement. Also, the outdoor photo was deceiving since there is a large water bog in front of the cabin and you have to walk around it to get to the lake. Perhaps it was so big because of Moosehead’s unusually wet summer.

Comfortable lake cabin in good location

A perfect spot for my group of girls to hang out comfortably. Ample sleeping space for the 5 of us, a large table for eating, socializing and playing games and that beautiful lake to visit and gaze at all weekend long. We will be back next summer! Or maybe winter so we can get a fire going in that dramatic floor to cathedral ceiling fire place...Wow!

Such a beautiful place, has absolutely everything you could need and more! Tucked away in a quiet area but close enough to town if you need/want to run it. 1000% will stay here again!

Celebration of my son’s 40th birthday. Ice fishing and snowmobiling was highlighting part of our stay. It was a huge plus for the direct and easy access to the lake. We spent most of our time out there. Finding the cabin is straight forward if you map it first. Be aware no service in some spots. I received an early check in which was great. Cabin was comfortable and set up very well for a home away from home. Fireplace was amazing. All bedrooms were cozy beds were comfy. Would definitely come back but in the summer to enjoy what the lake has to offer then!

Second time renting this property for a weekly family vacation. Everything about this property so great. Clean, spacious house, large deck overlooking the lake, big yard with fire pit, private beach. Just can’t say enough about it. Also every question I had for the owner was answered quickly. If you’re looking for a rental in the Moosehead Lake region you can’t go wrong with this property. Already looking forward to next year.

My family enjoyed a fun vacation at this location. We saw lots of deer around the house and ducks visited us every day. The sounds of loons lulled us to sleep at night. There are neighbors but you feel very secluded when you sit on the back porch to enjoy the scenery of the lake. My husband and I met several neighbors on our walks and running. They were all very welcoming and friendly. Overall, we would definitely return to this camp in the future. It is a gorgeous location with so many outdoor activities to enjoy.

Ideal Location
This was our second time staying at this property. The location is ideal. The perfect atmosphere for a relaxing cabin vacation. We were able to put our boat in at the near by marina. Our dog enjoyed playing in the yard and on the private beach. Only complaint was that we had to wait an hour to check in since the cleaner had not finished. Would recommend a dishwasher/dish drying rack and new bed linens for future guests.

Beautiful lakefront and view!
Loved the location, just 15 minutes from downtown Greenville but quiet and peaceful. It's not easy to access the lakefront, the backyard is marshy and there's not a clear path, but if you do make it through, it's gorgeous. We enjoyed morning coffee sitting on the rocks.
The house is large, the beds are comfortable, the fireplace is cozy, the kitchen is well stocked, and the view of the lake is beautiful. It's hard to overstate the amount of taxidermy in the home; there are moose, deer, fox, and bear for a start. It was pretty intense for me but hey, if that's your thing, you'll love it here.
We'd definitely stay here again, but we did have an issue with not receiving check-in instructions in a reasonable amount of time. I had to reach out to the host, tried text and phone with no answer, sent a message through the VRBO app and eventually started looking for other places to stay, when she responded well after check in time. Luckily we were arriving pretty late so we didn't end up in a pickle. Other than that, we were puzzled by the lack of bath soap or toiletries, but thankfully I happened to have some with me.

Beautiful, lake front cabin at Moosehead
My husband and I enjoyed this lovely cabin. It’s in a beautiful wooded setting. You can see other cabins/homes but you feel very private here. It is lakefront but there is a small walk to the water. The inside is very
clean, well decorated, and had everything we needed. There is a nice tv in living room if you so choose. Make sure to get accurate directions before heading there. We arrived after dark and had some trouble finding it. The cabin number isn’t well lit up (or reflective) and one of the numbers is hanging down on the sign.
Other than that it’s a beautiful cabin on Moosehead Lake that we enjoyed very much.

Beaver Cove
One of the best cabins we've stayed. As a amputee, a handrail into the cabin would have been nice. The million dollar views were fantastic, cabin was very nicely decorated. We would stay again.

10 Moose Lane rental
It's A very nice property. Comfortable quiet and relaxing. The neighbor closest to the house was very nice while the neighbor on the other side was not so nice. There is a dock directly behind the property which you may think is part of the property but it's not. We found that out when she came over and told us it was private property. Whatever. Lily Bay state park is next to the property and there is plenty of shoreline for you to enjoy. The water is clean and clear and I jumped in every day. Greenville is a 10 minute ride away and it's a nice town. Everyone is friendly. Stop at the Cafe Crepe trailer. Delicious. The best restaurant is the Stress Free Moose Pub. Eating on the deck at Kelly's Landing is nice but the food left a lot to be desired. All in all it was a great stay and I'm looking forward to going back

Wonderful Place
The cabin was everything we hoped for and more!! It had everything we needed to stay there. There was plenty of extra pillows, blankets, and towels. The beach was perfect and everyone enjoyed swimming there. Having the state park next door gave us privacy and places to explore. We would love to come back and stay here again!!!

Pare get away
Great place with access to shore line and the home had everything we needed. The fact that it accepted dog's was a big plus. My dog is part of family and he loved watching the ducks, but had never been in water so it was fun watching her inch out deeper everyday. We would definitly go again.

Checking in was alittle slow and didn’t get all the info needed. But wouldn’t deter me from renting this again

Nice location
Nice location for privacy and proximity to waters edge. The interior of house was very clean, microwave, stovetop, bathrooms all spotless. The exterior had many cigarette butts, and a few beer bottles. It appears someone dumped cat litter perhaps for traction (it was icy in driveway) but was gross.. in walking path from vehicle to camp. Was expecting details regarding check in via VRBO app before the actual check in time (there was never any details).. had to contact via text to know what to do when there...There were no instructions inside regarding the heat or reminders for things... there is a big grate on floor that houses the radiator/heater... had to keep barefoot kids away or else there would've been scorched feet. Back bedroom was incredibly hot..unsure of how to turn the heat down..thermostat on wall was unresponsive. But my personal opinions should be taken lightly... this camp is absolutely beautiful on an amazing lake... one could only be so lucky to stay there again.. much wildlife around.. Lily Bay state park is the boundary right next door.. so anglers pay attention..there is no fishing in that zone, restrictions apply. (to the right of the camp)

Snowmobiling at its best
We stayed 4 nights the first week in March. There were 6 of us guys and the place is beautiful and has plenty of parking for multiple trucks and trailers. House is gorgeous and well appointed for everything we needed. Will be booking again next year!

Great cabin and location!
My wife and I enjoyed the secluded location and the peace and quite. Really enjoyed the grouse that kept coming into the yard and the last pair of loons that were still calling on the lake.

Great place for children
This was a nice, large house for a family of 7, my husband and me, our daughter, her husband, and our 3 grandchildren. The children loved the room with the bunk beds. They also loved the play equipment and going down to the beach. It was just a nice, rustic cabin and our son-in-law loved the moose! We just hated that we didn't see a real moose on the trip.

Great place to relax and to explore the Moosehead Area
Just back from 5 nights at this property. Our family had a wonderful time. Greenville has lots to offer, good grocery store, restaurants, interesting shops. Hiking and paddling opportunities abound. The house was very comfortable and the swing & play set were a big hit with the 2+ year old granddaughter. The shore front belonging to this property is very nice, however, you must take a path around a wet area to access the shore front. Not easy to zip back and forth from the house. Beth was very responsive to questions.

Great Maine Vacation
This was a great spot for enjoying a secluded getaway. We loved the lake and area and the house was perfect for us - as advertised. The cove was perfect to enjoy the water even on days where it was windier out in the lake.
