About this house rental

Holiday in a spacious holiday home with its own pool and large garden. The beautiful kilometer-long sandy beach is ideal for long walks and is only a 10-minute walk away. Ideal for children as it goes flat into the water. On the way to the beach you will find various restaurants, cafes and shops.
The house is a non-smoking house with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a spacious living and dining area, a well-equipped kitchen, a terrace with a view of the garden and pool (9 x 4 m) and a private courtyard with cold and hot water. Shower, a roof terrace, parking spaces for cars (one of them covered), a large garden with many fruit trees that can be harvested seasonally by guests. All of this is located in an area of approx. 1000m².
The pool is cleaned 3 x a week. A gardener comes twice a month. There is an automatic sprinkler system overseen by the gardeners. It would be nice if they would water the flower pots on the terrace and patio from time to time, watering aids are available.
The house is located in Manta Rota, a small town in the sand Algarve. 45 minutes from Faro airport and only 20 minutes by car to the Spanish border. Seville can be reached in about 2 hours.
Very beautiful cities and areas are Vila Real de Sto. Antonio, Tavira, Olhao, Sagres, the rocky Algarve and of course Cabo de Sao Vizente, the westernmost tip of Europe. In the hinterland there are Lulé, Sao Braz de Alportel and Alcotim to discover. A guide is in the house.

The property is in a nice, quiet, residential position and the pool is clean and cared for. Walking distance to the town and beach made it easy for us. The garden is small but pretty and fairly private given the house position. Having someone to meet us would have been a nice touch, or even someone checking in during the stay or when leaving. We had no contact with anyone. However, we managed with the lock safe. I'm sure most people wouldn't worry. The property itself has air-conditioning which was great but the kitchen and bathrooms would benefit from some updating. There is pretty much anything you want in the property including seating, pool floats, games, kitchen utensils etc. which was appreciated. Bring a hair dryer! The only negative - I would add that this is the first time in 20+ years we have stayed in a holiday rental which is used by the owners and contains all of their belongings. I personally found this a little strange and had to be mindful that some food in the freezer / wardrobe contents / personal belongings were not to be touched or used. Perhaps easy to be respectful of this arrangement as adults but I had to be very vigilant bringing children with me. Maybe this is more common than I thought, but I have not come across this arrangement before myself. Thank you for having us. You have a lovely home and we enjoyed our holiday. Annie

Just returned from a week in Manta Rota at Casa Adam. My entire group had a wonderful time and were so glad we stayed here as opposed to more populated areas further west in the Algarve. The property was beautiful and pretty much exactly as described online. The gardens are beautiful, the pool is quite refreshing and the beach is a blissful short walk away. As we did venture into some of the local towns, having a car helped. The location is very accessible to the N125 and the A22 (toll road) to move about. But for a beach holiday, this is exactly what we were looking for.

This has been our second visit to Casa Adam and the first since the pandemic. The location is ideal, just a few minutes walk from the huge sandy beach and the house is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a family holiday. To have your own swimming pool is a real bonus and we picked oranges and lemons from the garden. Manta Rota is a small village but has several bars and restaurants and a good supermarket. Recommended unreservedly.

This property had virtually everything on site to make a wonderful holiday, it hugely exceeded our expectations. Gudrun was absolutely great, a real star, answering any small query within a few minutes. The property was clean, light and airy and the pool house was a great hit. The beach is only a 10/15 minute walk away with all the equipment that you could possibly need on site at the property. Parking is excellent, undercover right by the front door. We had a great time and would definitely return. We highly recommend this property.

Mein Mann und ich verbrachten entspannte 10 Tage in dem geräumigen, sehr persönlich eingerichteten Haus und haben besonders den wunderschönen, gepflegten und weitgehend uneinsehbaren Garten mit den Obstbäumen genossen , von denen wir uns bedienen durften. Das Interieur des Hauses ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, was uns aber gar nicht gestört hat, denn alles war sehr sauber und außergewöhnlich komplett ausgestattet. Die elektrischen Maschinen und der Fernseher sind neueren Datums und das WLAN ist stabil und gut. Den schönen und gepflegten Pool konnten wir leider wegen des kühlen und bedeckten Wetters in den letzten Tagen nicht mehr nutzen, da die Wassertemperatur dann trotz der Solarheizung schnell gesunken war. Dafür spendete der Außenkamin , für den reichlich Holz bereit lag, abends wohlige Wärme auf der Terrasse. Insgesamt ist das Haus wegen seiner Größe und seiner guten Ausstattung für Familien sehr zu empfehlen.

We stayed at Casa Adam for 10 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it! Manta Rota has everything you want for your holiday and the beach is an easy 10 - 15 minute walk away, as are several nice restaurants. The house is on a large plot with a beautiful garden full of fruit trees and a fantastic pool which is heated by solar panels! The garden and pool are regularly maintained. The house itself is just as the photographs with everything you could possibly want provided! The beds were comfortable too! The only problem we had, which seems to be common in the area, was barking dogs but ear plugs helped! So we had a great time and hope to return for some more Portugese sun!

Tivemos uma óptima estadia! A casa estava limpa e arranjada quando chegámos, é muito espaçosa e luminosa, dispondo de um amplo espaço exterior, ajardinado e de uma boa piscina com água tépida e cristalina. Abundância de apetrechos exteriores, mesas e cadeiras, espreguiçadeiras, toalhas, boias e brinquedos diversos. Espaço cuidado, bem vedado, com muita privacidade, com ambiente calmo, embora perto de restaurantes e supermercados. A cerca de 15 minutos a pé da praia de manta rota. Proprietária muito disponível e cuidadosa, atenta a todos os pormenores, muito fácil de contactar, respondendo rapidamente a todas as questões. Gostámos muito e recomendamos!

Wonderful house with private pool

We spent a wonderful time in this lovely house. The property has all the facilities you might need for a relaxing vacation. At the same time it is a 10 minute walk from the manta rota beach. Nearby you can find shops, supermarket and several restaurants. Inside the property the garden gives you a feeling of being away from the busy parts of Algarve but at the same time you can quickly walk to the main street of Manta Rota and find anything you need. The communication with the owner was very good and the check in and out was very easy. We would definitely recommend this property and will try to come back soon.

Uma moradia completa, nunca faltou nada. Um jardim grande e bonito, onde era possível descansar e apanhar sol. A piscina estava limpa, com água quente e agradavel. O interior da casa é confortável e espaçosa, com muitos recantos para uma boa leitura tranquila. A cozinha super bem equipada com tudo que seja possivel utiizar e uma churrasqueira de onde sairam óptimos petiscos. Agradecida pelos bons momentos, na expectativa de os poder repetir.

Wir verbrachten einen sehr schönen, ruhigen Urlaub im Haus Casa Gudrun. Es war wirklich alles vorhanden was man in einer Wohnung benötigt von Brotschneidemaschine über Eierkocher, ausreichend Handtücher, Bettwäsche etc. etc. Wir waren wirklich erstaunt, was alles vorhanden war. Garten und Pool sind sehr gepflegt und Ruben (Verwalter) spricht sehr gut englisch, was sehr hilfreich sein kann. Kurzum wir kommen wieder. Multi Obrigada Gudrun .

A real home away

The property suited our family of four adults and 2 children. The villa is well equipped- everything we needed was available ( from beach umbrellas to bbq) which we really appreciated. The only addition to improve the experience would be lights around the pool for the evening. Very close to all Manta Rotas amenities and the beach. I would highly recommend this villa for a super relaxing holiday.

Casa Adam ist ein Ferienhaus, in dem wir uns wie zuhause gefühlt haben. Es ist gut von den nachbarlichen Häusern abgeschirmt, so dass wir uns unbeobachtet und ungestört fühlten. Im gemütlichen Haus befindet sich wirklich alles, was man zu täglichen Leben braucht, von Gewürzen bis zur Waschmaschine. Die Buchung dieses Ferienhauses war ein Glücksgriff und ist zu empfehlen.

I stayed in the villa with my son grand daughter and her friend for first few days and then on my own. The villa has everything you vould want. Pool is lovely and the experience of picking your own oranges to make fresh juice.was great. Reuben was so helpful i would hope to return . Thank you Gudren

We have stayed in manta Rota on a number of occasions previously, always in a condominium style apartment with a communal pool. This however is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom detached property with a lovely garden and a private swimming pool situated in a quiet location, just a 10 minute walk from a huge sandy beach. The very comfortable property is equipped with everything you are likely to need. We picked oranges, lemons and limes from the garden every day. Reuben, the owners local representative was on hand to greet us on arrival and could not have been more helpful. In conclusion, in comparison with local apartments you may pay a little more for Casa Adam but you will get a whole lot more value for your money. Recommended unreservedly.

Très belle et grande maison à 2 pas du petit centre de manta rota, piscine, jardin, climatisation, patio et super équipée. Merci pour cette semaine à Manta Rota, grande maison de famille très charmante, avec petit studio attenant que notre fils de 16 ans à tout de suite adopté pour la semaine, piscine toujours au soleil, c'est super, très joli jardin fleuri et fruitier, très calme, beaucoup de goût pour cette maison très bien équipée. Suivi et entretien de la piscine par une personne extérieure, très bon accueil lors de notre arrivée, des fruits nous attendaient à notre arrivée, très sympa après la route. C'est une très bonne adresse pour passer de bonnes vacances en famille, même avec un couple d'amis en plus, car beaucoup de place et de couchages. Villa que je recommande, la situation géographique de Manta Rota permet d'avoir des températures élevées mais il y a toujours de l'air qui fait que l'on ne souffre pas de la chaleur, c'est super. Plein de belles choses à visiter aux alentours (voiture obligatoire). Très belle location que nous recommandons sincèrement Patrick et Nelly

Lovely house with a beauriful garden and orchard. We ate figs, oranges, plums ans lemons. The bbq was huge and there was lots of wood. Lots of space and very clean. The pool was lovely and clean. Lots of loungers and towels. The water was very hot in the house which had all the equipment you could want. That makes a change.air con is quiet. Shops and bars are nearby. Reuben is on hand if you are stuck. Lovely man. We would love to go back.

la maison est dans un quartier calme et un tout petit peu a l écart mais on peut aller faire ses courses et aller à la plage à pieds. rien ne manque dans la maison, tout est à disposition. l espace extérieur est ravissant avec un très bel espace piscine et un magnifique jardin fleuri et où poussent de nombreux fruitiers dont vous profitez selon le moment : oranges citrons prunes figues... un eden la maison est très confortable et spacieuse l'accueil est formidable et attentionné. La propriétaire est disponible et à l'écoute. merveilleux séjour
